Filed to story: A Second Chance with My Billionaire Love

The girl who led the group pouted at Adie and whined, “Adie, what’s wrong with you? Aren’t you our friend? Why are you taking this dummy’s side instead of ours?” “No, I’m not your friend.” Adie crossed his arms and declared righteously, “I won’t befriend bad kids who bully others…

Tiffany is my friend from today onwards, and anyone who bullies her is my enemy!” The girls became scared when they heard that, and timidly threw the hairpin on the floor and ran away.

Tiffany gave Adie a surprised look, then immediately picked up her hairpin and wiped away her tears.

‘My mommy bought this hairpin for me, but they dirtied it.” “It’s okay.

Just wipe it.” Adie took the hairpin from Tiffany and quickly wiped it clean, then asked her enthusiastically, “Do you need my help to pin it for you?” “Do you know how to do it?” Tiffany looked at Adie suspiciously. “Of course! I always help my sister with hers.

You’re just like her…” Adie carefully helped Tiffany put the hairpin in her hair and smiled teasingly.

“Plus, you both are crybabies.” “No, I’m not!” Tiffany protested stubbornly.

“I don’t like to cry at all, but I only did it because they bullied me.” “you’re better off making a counterattack…” Adie shook his head.

“My mommy always tells me that if you cry, the people bullying you will just think you’re weak and easy to bully.” “Your mommy…” Tiffany paused for a while, then asked carefully, “Your mommy must be a very good mommy, right?” Adie puffed his chest out in pride.

“Yeah, she’s the best mommy in the world!” “I’m so jealous of you.” “Isn’t your mommy good too?” “My mommy…” Tiffany smiled helplessly.

“She was once the best in the world too, but now…” “What happened?” Adie asked curiously.

“Nothing.” Tiffany shook her head, then asked Adie, “Why did you help me? I’m the most annoying kid in the class.” “T don’t find you annoying.” Adie said honestly, “You just cry sometimes and don’t like to talk much. There’s nothing wrong with that, so stop thinking that you’re bad’ After thar inciden’t Those two children became good friends.

Tiffany was still quiet and lost in thought sometimes, but adie always paid attention to her and stayed with her from time to time, and no one dared to bully Tiffany anymore.

Tiffany and Adie were enjoying the apple together when tiffany turnea to adie and asked him softly, “It’s so noisy here.

Can we play someplace else?” She seemed rather melancholic that day, so Adie quickly agreed.

“Of course.

I found a good place when I went looking for treasures today.

Come with me!” The two children left the campsite secretly, not knowing that someone was following them…

The children played while their parents made dinner.

Both Halston and Flossie were not good at cooking, so they agreed to do a simple seafood barbecue.

It only involved coating the seafood in a sauce and roasting them on the fire, so it seemed simple enough…

until they actually started cooking.

The first challenge was making the fire.

There were no charcoal or burners on the island, so they could only use wood to make a fire.

Halston and Flossie spent a lot of time picking branches and palm leaves around the island, and forgot all about the two children while doing so.

Flossie was not too worried about the children since they had grown up on Sun Island-they were good at swimming, and had more survival skills than the other children from growing up on an island. “Have you ever considered giving the children to me or having one parent raise one child? That seems fairer.” Halston asked suddenly as he collected palm leaves.

“What did you say?” Flossie thought she had misheard him and looked at him in disbelief.

“T know it’s difficult for you to consider, but it is an option.

That way, they’ll have both a father and a mother.

You won’t have to find them another father then.

What do you think?” Halston explained reasonably.

He seemed indifferent, but he was actually quite bothered when Flossie suggested finding a new father for the children.

He knew he had no right to meddle in her plans, so after some deliberation, he came up with what he felt was a fair compromise.

Halston’s words, however, did nothing but enrage Flossie.

“Halston, how could you even have the nerve to suggest something like that? Do you think you can humiliate me just because I’ve tolerated you?” Flossie threw the branches on the ground and stormed over to Halston, looking icy.

“Don’t test my patience! I will fight you if it ever comes to that.” “IT wasn’t trying to humiliate you…” Halston sounded helpless.

“I just don’t want you to find another man to replace me.” “Well, you’re wrong.” Flossie chuckled bitterly.

“I’m not trying to replace you with another man -I just think that the children and I need a new patriarch.

Who do you think you are? Do you think you’re perfect? Do you think I can’t find someone to replace you?” Halston instantly fell silent.

Flossie’s words were hurtful but true- stefan wasn’t a good man, and he had no right to stop her if she wanted to find another man to replace him.

“Don’t even dream of taking any one of the kids!” Flossie Said firmly paused briefly then added, “But I won’t stop you from meeting them.

As for your relationship with them, it depends on you ” Even if she hated stefan she would not take away her children’s right to spend time with their father. However, she was confident that their stepfather might surpass their father if she did find one for them.

Meanwhile, away from Halston and Flossie, Abby was panicking.

“Adie? Adie, where are you?”

Meanwhile, Abby had found a pretty conch on the beach just now, and wanted to show it to Adie, but turned around to find him missing. Worry filled her as she called out for Adie.

At that moment, Halston and Flossie were sulkily walking back to the campsite, carrying firewood.

Coincidentally, they bumped into Abby, who was anxiously looking for Adie.

“What’s wrong, Abby?” Flossie tossed the firewood aside and hurried over to Abby.

“Why are you here alone? Where’s Adie?” Adie and Abby were always together, so Flossie knew that something was wrong.

“Mommy, Adie is missing…” Abby’s face was pale in fear.

She hugged Flossie and wailed, “I saw Adie sharing an apple with Tiffany just now, so I didn’t disturb them.

I came to the beach to look for conches, but when I went back…

they were gone.

I couldn’t find them.

Adie will be alright, won’t he?” “Don’t worry, Abby.

Adie is clever and resourceful, so I’m sure he’s fine.

Maybe he’s just playing somewhere with Tiffany!” Flossie said reassuringly, trying to comfort Abby.

She knew Adie had good survival skills and would be fine.
