Chapter 94 – A Little Princess’s Journey from Darkness to Light Novel

“Lilly, can you climb it?” Hannah asked, doubting Lilly’s ability to climb the net due to her slender arms and legs.

Lilly, with Bunny on her back, replied firmly, “I can! I’m really good at it!”

Hannah and Josh didn’t believe her at all.

Before they could react, they watched in shock as Lilly effortlessly grabbed the climbing net and climbed up with agility.

Hannah and Josh’s mouths dropped open in astonishment, and even Drake was secretly impressed. They never expected Lilly, who appeared so weak, to be so powerful.

They quickly caught up with Lilly, but they were out of breath while Lilly seemed unaffected. Together, they reached the top of the slide.

“Hurry up!” Lilly urged excitedly. “I’ll go first!”

Hannah immediately said, “I’ll go second!”

Josh said, “I’ll go third.”

Drake remained silent.

The four of them lined up and slid down the long slide. Although it was high and long, it had several turns and was steeper than ordinary slides.

The slippery slide was more thrilling than a pirate ship.

“Wow!” Lilly exclaimed with excitement. “We’re like bullets being fired!”

Hearing this, Hannah, Josh, and Drake were left speechless.

They all ended up piling up at the end, and Lilly’s laughter infected everyone around them, causing them to burst into laughter as well.

Lilly blushed with excitement and then turned her head to look at Drake.

“Drake, did you have fun?” Lilly asked.

Drake turned his face away and replied stiffly, “It wasn’t bad.”

After sliding down the slide, they went to ride the children’s version of the roller coaster.

Lilly and Hannah couldn’t stop screaming and laughing.

On the other hand, Drake remained expressionless the entire time. It’s not enjoyable.

Josh had something else on his mind. If the roller coaster’s speed is xx and the eccentricity of the semicircle is xx, how many eccentricities do I need to experience a ghostly encounter?

Next, they tried the jumping machine, which was only four floors high and had a slow speed.

Lilly exclaimed, “Wow!”

Hannah yelled, “This is so much fun!”

Drake remained expressionless. However, since he had never tried such a childish ride before, he thought it was okay.

Josh pondered again. If the falling speed of the jumping machine is xx and the human heart rate is xx, what falling speed is required to see ghosts?

His final calculations exceeded the speed of light. Falling at the speed of light would result in certain death, but it would also guarantee a ghostly encounter.

…

After enjoying the merry-go-round, bumper cars, high-altitude swings, and children’s tumbling fun, Lilly and Hannah were out of breath. They each held a glass of juice and drank.

Josh calculated the speeds of all the rides and concluded that the speed alone wouldn’t be enough to see ghosts. The theory of the magnetic field seemed more reliable.

Drake still wore an expressionless face, but his eyes showed a hint of excitement and his cheeks were flushed.

Lilly tilted her head and asked again, “Drake, did you have fun?”

Drake replied, “…not bad!”

Hannah exclaimed, “It was so much fun! Drake, you just won’t admit it!”

Lilly was taken aback, then imitated Hannah, “Haha! You won’t admit it!”

Seeing Lilly laughing, Hannah became even more excited. “Drake is being stubborn!”

Lilly echoed Hannah’s words. “Haha! Drake is being stubborn!”

Drake felt helpless. Does Lilly understand what Hannah means? She only knows how to imitate and laugh.

Drake, a top literature student, couldn’t bear it and corrected them, “It’s a forked tongue, not a hard tongue!”

Lilly and Hannah agreed, “Yes, you’re right!”

Drake was speechless. It’s like scolding myself.

While they were laughing, Rebecca approached them silently, as if walking on air.

Josh was still contemplating the relationship between magnetic fields and ghosts. When he looked up, he saw Rebecca, dressed in red, who appeared ghostly. He was so frightened that he almost jumped up.

Upon closer inspection, he realized she was a human. He breathed a sigh of relief and relaxed.

He saw Rebecca sitting on the chair next to him, looking tired as she exhaled sleepily. She leaned against the back of the chair.

Lilly greeted, “Hello, Auntie. We bumped into each other again.”

Hannah followed Lilly’s gaze and asked Lilly, “Who is she?” She didn’t remember Rebecca.

Drake squinted. “She’s the girl who cut in line’s family.”

Rebecca turned her head weakly. She was surprised to see Lilly and the others, then said, “Oh… it’s you!”

Lilly stared at the dark spirit on Rebecca’s shoulder.

Seeing Lilly’s gaze, Josh instinctively asked,

“What’s wrong?”

Lilly leaned close to his ear and whispered, “Josh, there’s a ghost on her shoulder…”

Upon hearing that, Josh was taken aback.

Lilly looked at Josh, who had changed his position, and asked strangely, “Josh, what’s wrong with you?”

Josh replied, “Nothing, it’s too windy over there.”

Rebecca smiled. “I’m sorry about what happened earlier…”

Lilly shook her head. “It’s fine. Auntie, what’s your name?”

Rebecca leaned back, appearing tired. She replied, “My name is Rebecca Fisher.”

Hannah looked at Rebecca curiously. “Auntie, why did you bring Nicole here?”

This aunt seems kind. Why did she bring that arrogant girl?

Lilly nodded. “Yes, why? You can come and play with good friends. Why do you have to play with that granny and Nicole if you don’t like them?”

Rebecca seemed to dislike Nicole and Lydia.

Rebecca pursed her lips resentfully. “I didn’t want to bring them either. But they’re my husband’s relatives and insisted on coming to Dreamrealm. Damn it! I’ve never brought my daughter to Dreamrealm before, but I brought them here.”

Lilly wondered. “Can’t you refuse them?”

Rebecca responded, “They’re my husband’s relatives. It’s difficult to refuse them.”
