Chapter 49 – Maleah The Angel Of Death Novel

Fortune is not making it better by pointing out that Levi is as handsome as Mack, even though Mack is the tallest out of the three of them at 6″5 and the three of them look totally different. Mack has ash blond hair with bright blue eyes, while Levi is 6″4 with caramel hair and marble gray eyes.

Kay is also 6″4 but he has black hair with sea-green eyes, all of them are built as a house because of all the training they do and I know that each of them is a force to be reckoned with.

I have seen them train during the years and none of them backs down easily, I think they might have ended up in the infirmary more than once if our Alphas didn’t force them to stand down. Seeing one of our Alphas force them to their knees is an amazing sight to see, because it isn’t an easy task.

“Why did Kay and Levi have trouble withstanding my aura?” I ask Fortune and she tells me that the bond between me and Mack has been developed further, but that after today Levi won’t have trouble withstanding my aura.

“Only Kay will have trouble, but only until the two of you can start forming a bond.” Fortune says with a smile on her face, looks like she really enjoys this connection we have with Kay and Levi.

Levi’s p.o.v.

Largo has been acting strange for a few days now and I am getting a massive headache from him, he refuses to talk to me. He keeps telling me that he needs time to figure something out, something that doesn’t make sense to him and it is making him very cranky.

The only time he seems to be a bit at peace is when Maleah is talking and I know he enjoyed dinner last night with her sitting next to us, but she shouldn’t be able to calm him down the way she does.

Maleah is Mack’s Mate and Mack is our best friend, I am not going to get in their way just because my Lycan seems to like her. We both did enjoy annoying the hell out of Mack, but he didn’t react the way I thought he would to me constantly touching his Mate and that left me pretty confused.

Largo woke me up at the break of dawn and if it had been up to him we would have been at Maleah’s house hours ago, but I managed to put a block up for a while.

When Mack linked me that he was awake I finally dropped the block and Largo forced me to head to Maleah’s house, which I did before he would force a shift. Mack had coffee for me when I got to the house and we talked about our schedules for the day, if he is lucky he will be able to join us for lunch.

Unless the fitting session or his meeting runs late, but he didn’t want to think about that and I couldn’t blame him for it.

Largo has been focused on sounds upstairs, but I told him he wouldn’t be able to hear her. She is an Assassin and a damn good one at it, he will never be able to hear her if she doesn’t want him to and I think that that is the only way he will ever be able to hear her.

Knowing I would be with Maleah all day, I took some files with me, files I need to go through before the end of the day and it will keep me busy while I keep an eye on Maleah for Mack.

However, my mind keeps wandering back to the question Mack asked me before he left. He asked if I remembered the day Dillon got injured during our training with the Council of Elders, I still hate to think about that day and I wondered why he was bringing it up.

He asked me if I remembered what Dominic had said about them sharing a Mate, I had just nodded my head and I nearly tumbled out of my seat when he asked me if I had ever thought about sharing a Mate.

“Commander says that the idea of sharing a Mate makes him feel better, it means that our Mate will always have someone with her. It blew my mind to say the least when he told me.” Mack had said and it has been running through my mind ever since he left.

I didn’t want to admit to my best friend that Largo and I had come to the same conclusion. I think the difference between me and Mack is that Largo and I know who we would be willing to share a Mate with.

The only thing we didn’t find an answer to was how this would work, after all I had never shared a female with anyone before and I wasn’t sure if I wanted to sleep in one bed with my Mate and the males I shared her with.

Largo had suggested a big house with enough rooms for all of us to sleep in and one huge room with a huge bed if we all wanted to sleep in the same bed at night, but that we would always let our Mate decide on where or with whom she wanted to sleep.

The only one who knows I thought about it is Dominic and he swore he would never tell anyone about this, I needed to talk to someone that had at least some experience with sharing a female.

Footsteps on the stairs pull me from my thoughts and I turn around to see Maleah walking down the stairs in a pair of black skinny jeans with a bright pink shirt, “Goodmorning, Levi. Are we late for breakfast?” She asks and I shake my head as I grab my backpack.

“No, breakfast will be served in half an hour. Mack is in a meeting, so he grabbed an early breakfast and if his meeting and your fitting session go as planned you will see him at lunch.” I answer her as I place my hand on her lower back.

Largo finally settles down in the back of my mind and I ask her how she slept as we walk towards the Pack-house, “Like a baby. I think my lights were out the moment I placed my head on Mack’s chest.” She answers without hesitation.

Largo softly growls the moment she mentions how she slept and I tell him to calm the fuck down.

“She isn’t our Mate, Buddy.” I say and I stop dead in my tracks when I hear him say, “She is.”

Maleah steps in front of me as she asks if something is wrong, but I can’t tell her what my idiotic Lycan just said and I start to shake my head. “Don’t you dare, Levi.” She says as she places a hand on my arm and I jump back the moment I feel soft sparks.

“It will only get stronger, unless you want to move and decline your position.” Maleah says as she keeps looking at me and I slowly reach out my hand to confirm I felt sparks the moment she touched me.

“Fuck, Mack is going to kill me.” I mumble the moment I feel the soft sparks again, but Largo reminds me of the question Mack asked me this morning and I look up at Maleah.

“I think we need to talk to Mack and Kay about this.” She says.

“What!” I exclaim while Largo is laughing his ass off. “What does this have to do with Kay?” I ask her, even though I already know the answer to that question.
