Xavier frowned at Shirley’s sudden change in behaviour, and let go of her aloofly. “Go on your own since you’re sober then. I’ve got something else to do.” He turned to Shirley’s assistant and agent and ordered, “Take her away. Don’t let her make a fool of herself again.” “Xavier, I want to be with you!”
Shirley hugged his arm firmly to stop him from leaving. “Didn’t you ask me to go abroad to further my studies? I’ll leave soon, so we might not be able to see each other for a long time. Can you hold a farewell for me?” “That’s unnecessary,” Xavier said icily. “It’s your future, and you should think about how much time you’ve spent to reach your current level. I don’t care if you want to keep on embarrassing yourself here.” He had made up his mind not to get entangled with Shirley again. He shook her hand off and quickly walked towards the parking lot.
Shirley watched him leave and stomped her feet grumpily. “Xavier, do you have to be this cruel? Can’t you spend one night with me?”
Xavier just ignored her and kept on walking.
Shirley’s agent yanked her shoulders and urged, “Shirley, we should go. Those people ran over to take photos of Leia, and If they find US, it’ll be troublesome.” “Okay, let’s go then.” Shirley decided to leave since she knew that she couldn’t change Xavier’s mind.
When Xavier walked past the group of people, he sneered in disgust. He had always hated homewreckers because a homewrecker had once almost caused his mother to jump off a building with him in her arms.
Xavier refused to even look at the homewrecker, and went to the parking lot to get his car. Before he could open his car, he heard people talking.
“Hey, isn’t that Ms. Leia Osborne?” “Those people are too cruel. She’s a rich young lady, but they stripped her bare. Are they courting death?” “You’re right. But they’re smart. Since they’re in a group, they won’t be punished much.” “But I don’t think they’re cruel. After all, nobody asked Ms. Osborne to be a homewrecker. I hate homewreckers the most!”
Xavier’ heart pounded in his chest and he grabbed a man nearby by the collar and demanded, “Who’s the homewrecker who’s being beaten up?”
The man said agitatedly, “What does it have to do with you? Are you out of your mind?” “I’m asking you-who is it?” Xavier was usually a calm person, but he couldn’t stay calm right now. His grip on the man’s collar tightened.
“It’s Ms. Leia Osborne! Why didn’t you go and see it for yourself since you’re so curious-” Xavier pushed him aside quickly, panicked.
“Get out of the way!” Xavier ran to the crowd, shoving and kicking them away. To his horror, he saw a woman in the middle of the crowd with most of her hair cut off and her shirt torn open. They had almost pulled down her pants too, and she was crouching on the ground pitifully. It was none other than Leia, whom Xavier had been searching for.
“Lei!” Xavier instantly flew into a rage, and his mind went blank.
“Hey, isn’t this Xavier? So, the slutty couple is here. Let’s go get them and seek revenge for Shirley!”
The fan who had started all this slurred drunkenly.
“Mister… Stuart?” The other fans were drunk too, but they ran away immediately when they found out the famous tycoon of the entertainment world had arrived.

“I’m sorry I was late. You’ve suffered so much…” Xavier said hoarsely. He shouldn’t have been so careless. Leia was probably being abused when he bumped into Shirley at the door of the club. No wonder Shirley had urged him to leave—she probably knew what was happening. How despicable!
Xavier never wanted to think the worst of Shirley, but all the things she had done were unbelievably cruel.
“What’s the use of apologizing?” Abruptly, Leia looked up and said coldly, “If you’re really sorry, bring
Shirley here. I’ll get people to tear off her clothes and cut off her hair, then they can curse her and spit at her while she’s lying naked on the street.”
“Those fans were outrageous! I won’t let them off the hook. As for Shirley…” Xavier clenched his fists.
He didn’t want to believe that it was related to Shirley. At most, maybe Shirley was just aware of it, so he objected to taking revenge on Shirley.

Those people had beaten her up badly, so she wanted to go to the police station first. “Open the door!” Leia was so agitated that she almost leaped to the front seat and took control of the steering wheel. She glared at Xavier and sneered, “I know you’re eager to take me to the hospital because you’re worried that I’ll report this to the cops, and you don’t want to implicate your first love. Xavier, you’re the most disgusting man I’ve ever met… I hate you!”
Leia’s heart twisted painfully in her chest when she saw Xavier protect Shirley even though Shirley had bullied her so badly. She was the young lady of the Osborne family who was spoiled since young and had never suffered, so why did she have to suffer when it came to men? Even after enduring so much earlier, Xavier still refused to let her get her revenge.
“I didn’t think about that at all. All I know is that your injuries will get worse if you don’t get them treated now.
