“I just don’t like other male scents on you that don’t belong to me or my brothers.”
I couldn’t see his face but I could tell that he was pouting a bit. ‘Aww, our big, strong, alpha wolf is a big, cuddly, soft teddy bear.’ Midnight purred. I smiled. ‘I know. Leo, Zero, and Hero are so adorable. They look like big old ruthless alphas, but are so soft and sweet when it comes to us.’ I replied back to her.
I couldn’t help it as I giggled I heard Midnight in my head.
“Kiss him and make him feel better.”
I rolled my eyes internally at her but I couldn’t help but want to make Leo feel better too, so I took him by surprise. I spun around in his arms, wrapped my arms around his neck to bring his face down, stood on my tippy toes, and crashed my lips right onto his. They were soft and full, but he seemed frozen. I guess this was the wrong time for a kiss. A bit sad I start to pull away from him.
Leo’s POV
I know she was trying to make the kids not mad at their uncle, but I still didn’t like it when she had other males scents on her. I was holding her close to calm myself and my wolf, Fang, down. The next thing I know she spun around in my arms and crashed her lips onto mine. I was stunted for a sec then when I felt like she was trying to pull back, I grabbed her waist tighter and kissed her back deeply.
Fang was clawing in the back of my mind that he wanted to mark her right here and now. I heard a soft moan escape from her and it made me growl in response. I gently bit her bottom lip hoping she would open for me and she did. I pushed my tongue in her mouth and she tasted as sweet as she smelled. I heard someone clear their throat and pulled back from Jess. She was as red as a tomato and I smirked.
I looked over at my cousin who was covering the kids eyes.
“Leo Jackman there are children around here. Don’t you go all wolf and definle my best friend in front of them. Now lets eat before the lunch break in over.”
I still had a smirk on my face as I snaked my arm around Jess and walked her over to the table.
Zero and Hero were pouting.
“Don’t worry you two. I will give you guys a kiss too after lunch.”
Jess said as she left my arms to sit between my brothers. Hero perked up and then Zero leaned down to whisper in her ear.
“Well since Leo got your first kiss you got to give a first to Hero and I once we are all alone in a soundproof room.”
Jess blushed even deeper if that was possible. Hero and I chuckled.
Odette handed me a bowl of beef stew that smelled heavenly. I grabbed one of the sub sandwiches to eat with the stew and the fresh vegetables had a nice crisp taste. Hero took a bite of the stew first and his eyes went wide.
“Oh my moon goddess. This stew is amazing. Can we get this recipe before we leave Odette?”
He sounded so excited like a kid at christmas. I took a bite myself before Odette could talk. It really was good.
“Well Hero you are taking the cook back with you when you leave so I don’t think you need the recipe. Hahaha”
Odette giggled as she looked back at Jess.
“You made this Honey?”
Hero asked while turning to face her.
“Yea I was always having to cook for myself when I was at Red Moon so I just got better at cooking. Raphael’s favorite dish is my steak kabobs with my special secret sauce. Ryan and Jorge both love my chicken enchiladas. The girls like the fresh veggies I grow for their salads and sandwiches, but beef stew is Wilson and Maria’s favorite dish. Once I put all my ingredients together I asked an omega to watch it simmer so it didn’t burn.”
She raddled all of that information like it was just an everyday thing.
“Well you’re going to have to write us those recipes before you leave her little miss. I know I won’t survive without your food once in a while.”
Ryan groned. Everyone laughed. It was such a warm feeling to see Jess laughing and smiling, but I am worried that she will still try to hide stuff from us just because she thinks she can handle it or that she doesn’t want us to worry about her. I plan on making it my mission to change that for her.
“Oh Jess I have a question for you.”
Odette said while looking at Jess.
“What’s up?”
Jess tilted her head in confusion.
“When Leo pulled you away from Jorge earlier. How did you know it was Leo? I honestly thought it was Zero at first before you called him by name.”
“That is ture. No one has ever been able to tell us apart. Not even our parents.”
