Ryan reached around the back of Mia’s head and gripped her messy ponytail. Her mouth hovered above Ryan’s. She parted her lips and looked straight into Ryan’s eyes.

“That’s not how I want you,” Ryan said coolly.

Ryan made Mia wait, her mouth just a kiss away from his. Anger flashed in her eyes. Jake could tell that Mia was about ready to tell Ryan off. Ryan must have sensed it as he made a swift move, roughly claiming Mia’s mouth, catching her off-guard.

This time Ryan was the aggressor. Jake saw Ryan’s tongue slide past Mia’s lips. Mia’s eyelids fluttered shut as she roughly returned Ryan’s kisses.

Jake cast a quick glance in Olivia’s direction. She watched with rapt attention as her boyfriend kissed her best friend. When Ryan finally let go of Mia, they were both gasping for breath. Jake suspected Mia would scramble off Ryan’s lap. Instead she sat still, her mouth wide-open. She stared blinkingly at Ryan, not saying a word.

Jake got up suddenly. “I’m going to get a beer. Anyone else want one?” After all three made requests, he scooped up the empty bottles and walked quickly to the kitchen. He dumped the bottles in the recycle bin and opened the refrigerator door, not really seeing what was on the shelves.

Get a grip. Jake closed his eyes but he still had the vision of Mia kissing Ryan. He wanted to be in Ryan’s position, claiming Mia’s mouth and taking the kiss, rather than taking whatever she was willing to give. He wanted to match Mia’s dominance and aggression.

Jake could get the same response as Ryan did, but not without consequences. If he tried to claim Mia, she would run in the other direction. He knew the only way to be invited into her bed again and again was to surrender the control.

He did it well, which was a surprise. He was used to being the aggressor. One of his ex-lovers had accused him of being a chameleon, ready to change and be the kind of man his lover needed. Jake hadn’t denied it. It was his greatest strength as a lover, as well as his weakness.

It didn’t make him a great lover – more like the perfect sex partner. In his opinion, there was a difference. A lover gave and took, while a sex partner was more like a vessel for someone’s fantasies.

With Mia, he had eventually understood that she wanted an undemanding lover. He had easily slipped into the role, putting aside his own wants to please her. He always found satisfaction. Mia wasn’t a stingy lover. She was bold, daring, and impetuous.

And there were nights when he wanted to tame her and harness that energy for his own pleasure. So why did he ask Ryan to dominate Mia?

It was because Jake couldn’t dominate Mia. Too much was at risk. If he couldn’t dominate her, he would do it by proxy. It didn’t matter if he lived his fantasy through Ryan or through Olivia.

Jake stood up and looked in the direction of the media room, indecision swamping him. Should he have told Ryan the full truth about why he wanted help setting up some girl-on-girl action? He knew Ryan was under the impression Jake had the common lesbian fantasy most men had.

But would Ryan have agreed if he knew the main reason why Mia was leaving town? Did he even suspect that Mia was becoming sexually attracted to her best friend?

Jake knew that Mia was bisexual, but he didn’t know if she shared that information freely, even with her best friend. It was something that didn’t go over well in Clover Bud, and protecting that secret was second nature to Mia.

Ryan probably didn’t know, but he was okay with the idea of Mia and Olivia together. That was good enough for Jake, and he wouldn’t give Ryan any more information. If Olivia was intrigued by the idea, then Jake would do everything in his power to give Mia her fantasy.

He knew she wouldn’t make a move on Olivia, worried that it would destroy their friendship. But he might be able to make her fantasy come true without any repercussions. It would be his last gift to Mia.

Jake grabbed four beer bottles and went back to the game room. Mia had returned to her seat, her legs crossed tightly and her arms wrapped around her midriff. Jake could see that Mia’s nipples were poking hard against her tight shirt.

“Ready for the next game?” Jake asked as he handed out the last beer bottle. The others agreed, and he watched Mia and Olivia fight each other on-screen.

This time Olivia lost, as Jake had predicted. Next, it was Mia competing with Ryan. This time Mia put her all into the game and lost by the narrowest of margins.

As Mia curled up in her corner of the couch and sulked, Jake was ready for his match with Ryan. Unfortunately, the game didn’t go as he had planned. Jake did his best to win, but Ryan was clearly the winner.

“What the hell?” Jake wasn’t feigning surprise this time. He stared at the score on the screen. He had been annihilated by Ryan. “Have you been holding out on me, Ryan?”

He shrugged. “Call it luck.”

Olivia got up from the couch and stood next to Ryan, who sat on the floor, his legs sprawled in front of him. “Name your prize, Ryan,” Olivia said with a sweet smile.

Ryan grabbed the hem of his shirt and pulled it off. “Start at my waist and kiss your way up to my lips.”

Olivia got down on her knees and straddled Ryan’s hips. She thoroughly kissed Ryan’s stomach and chest, leaving not one spot untouched. Olivia was almost reverent in her duty to the point that Jake couldn’t sit still from watching.

By the time Olivia reached Ryan’s neck, Jake was doing his best not to find relief by rubbing his cock. Ryan captured Olivia’s face with his hands and gave her a long, wet kiss. Their moans made Jake flinch.

“Do you guys want to go back to your room?” Jake asked drily as his cock began to throb.

They broke off the kiss, and Olivia shyly ducked her head, gnawing on her bottom lip.

“Sorry,” Ryan replied, unperturbed. “Are you ready for another game?”

“Yes,” Jake said. He was determined to win this time. He wanted in on the action!

Olivia and Mia grabbed the controllers, and Jake watched them play. Olivia’s color was heightened, and her eyes sparkled. She was primed and ready for him now.

When she lost, Olivia showed no concern. Once again, it was between Mia and Ryan. Mia’s jaw was set with determination as she sat perched on the couch. She wanted to win.

Jake looked over at Ryan. He did a double take and frowned. It might look like he was playing but he wasn’t even touching the buttons. What was he doing?

Mia gave a whoop of joy when she beat Ryan.

“Congratulations,” Ryan said to Mia. He turned and caught Jake’s attention.

Jake frowned when he saw Ryan mouth, Don’t win.

Don’t win? Again? Was he kidding? The guy was getting all the women, and Jake was sitting with a hard-on watching them. If he lost, then Olivia would have to kiss Mia.

He eyes widened. Ohhh . . . Jake smiled. He liked the way Ryan thought.

“I’m going to win this time,” Jake announced, riling Mia’s competitive spirit.

“Don’t bet on it,” Mia said.

Jake made the fight with Mia very close and lifted his thumbs off the buttons right at the end.
