“There. All done up here boys.” I yell as I drop the empty bag.
“Clear the way so I don’t land on any of you again.” I saw Jorge stiffen and laugh.
“I am not going through that headache again.” he muttered while walking clear of the pole.
“You were the one that said you could catch her. It is not her fault you stood to close that she landed right on your back. HAHAHA.” Ryan boomed as he laughed.
Once they were both clear. I pushed myself off the pole and flipped through the air a few times before I landed both of my feet on solid ground.
“Tada.” I said while having a goofy grin on my face while those two just started laughing.
“All right let’s go get some breakfast. Everything is all set.” Ryan said.
Roy POV
I make it to Thunder Mountain. I would have to apologize for not making the ceremony last night, but I had another meeting with the elders. They want me to take a chosen mate, but I am still set on finding Jess to win her back.
I didn’t hear anything from Alex or Selena from last night. As I walked towards the dining hall, I looked out the window and saw a beautiful woman push off from the top of like a 50 foot pole and land perfectly on her own two feet.
If I did have to have a chosen mate I would want a girl like her. A strong warrior, would be a better Luna than a spoiled alpha’s or beta’s daughter of another pack.
I open the door and see Raphael and his mate at their table. “Alpha Raphael, good morning. I am terribly sorry I was not able to make it to the ceremony last night. My elders wouldn’t stop chatting about trivial things in the meeting and it ran late.” I bowed as I apologized.
“It is all right Alpha Roy. By the way this is my mate and Luna, Odette.” She nodded her head and I bowed to her as well.
Then I saw the three alpha triplets from Raven Moon walk in. “Good morning boys, I thought you would still be asleep. You guys are never up this early.” Luna Odette said with a smirk towards them.
“Well our lovely mate had woken us up to finish up her last few duties as your top warrior, but sorry cuz she will be returning with us to Raven Moon.” one of them said but another quickly added.
“As long as she is comfortable with it. Though she didn’t say no when I said that to her this morning.” Luna Odette was smiling bigger and bigger. “I’m sure she will be more than happy to leave with you guys, but still be a bit sad I didn’t get to spend a lot of time with her before you take her home with you.”
I could tell she was a little sad, but more happy that her friend found their mate.
I don’t know anything about the triplet alphas of Raven Moon, but it was rare for siblings such as twin or triplets to rule together as all alphas. Usually the oldest becomes alpha and the others become beta and gamma upon age order.
Then I smelled roses and baby’s breath. There was only one thing that smelled like that in my mind.
‘Jess?’ I thought.
Then I saw the warrior girl that jumped from the pole walk in with two other men.
She stopped and looked around, and then started walking over in my direction.
‘Was it really Jess? Would she give me another chance?’ were only a couple of the questions that ran through my mind.
Round One
“Hey there honey.” one of the triplets say, and then she started running towards us.
She went right past me and into the alpha triplet’s arms. I was shocked and heartbroken.
“Jess?” I forced myself to ask.
She turned towards me. Her blue-green eyes were brighter. “Hello Alpha Roy.” she said as she bowed her head, but she kept her arms wrapped around the other male.
“Why are you holding him? You are my mate.” I growled. All three of the alpha triplets growled back. She fully turned to face me. “I am not your mate. You rejected me and slept with another that same night. I have broken our mate bond 5 years ago. I belong to Leo, Zero, and Hero. I am their mate and they are my second chance mates. I will be leaving with them back to Raven Moon a few days from now.” I felt heartbroken that I couldn’t fix things with her.
“You have already done so much to her. We should let her be happy. If she chooses them then we should accept that.” my wolf, Max, said he sounded so hurt that he couldn’t be with his mate. I looked down. “I will accept your choices Jess, but only if you hear me and your brother out before we leave tomorrow morning.” She looked at the triplets, then down. Before she finally looked back at me and said “We can all sit at the same table for dinner tonight after the tournament, and I will listen to what you and Alex have to say. But Leo, Zero, and Hero will all be present with me. I still do not trust to be alone with the two of you.” “Alright, Jess. That is fine with me.” Then I walked away to find Alex. If he ran into her last night then I was worried if he would be up for the tournament today.
Jess’s POV
I was suddenly hugged tighter. I turned and looked at Leo. “Are you sure about speaking with them my love?” I leaned back into him and inhaled his scent. “I am sure. I want to leave the past behind when I leave to go to Raven Moon. Just like I need to tie up loose ends here before I leave. Raph, Ryan, and Jorge have all been my family for the last 5 years.” I smiled at Raphael and he smiled back. “Plus I will be alright as long as you three are with me. I know I wouldn’t be strong enough to do it alone.” My alphas smiled at me as Leo tightened his hold on me. “Alright kids. Let’s get this tournament started.” Odette said in a cheerful voice to try and brighten everyone’s mood.
Once everyone was seated outside Raphael explained the rules of the tournament. “It is a tradition to welcome the new Luna by holding a tournament in her honor. As alpha of the Thunder Mountain pack I welcome all the alphas and their packs to join in the tournament. First we have Alpha Marcus from the Silver Moon pack. Then Alpha Roy of the Red Moon pack, and last but not least the Triplet Alphas of the Raven Moon pack. Leo, Zero, and Hero.” People cheered for Alpha Marcus and Roy, but I heard a lot of women cheering for my alpha triplets.
