The teacher noticed that most of the students were asleep and decided to make it more interesting by doing a roll call. When the teacher called out “Gemma,” she promptly raised her hand. Her classmates next to her were astonished by her luck. One of them exclaimed, “Wow, you have some incredible luck!”

Gemma replied nonchalantly, “Well, I guess I’m just averagely lucky.”

Her classmate was left speechless.

Meanwhile, on the road behind Yassen where the car accident had occurred, Lilly crouched on the side of the road, observing the passing cars with curiosity. Pablo couldn’t find Jean, so he brought Lilly along for a walk, hoping that she could help locate Jean.

As they witnessed the car accident, with eight cars colliding and one person dead while seven others were injured, Pablo checked all the casualties but couldn’t find Jean. He couldn’t understand why the hexagram had indicated that she would be there. Perhaps he had been mistaken. It seemed that Jean hadn’t undergone soul transmigration through a car accident, plane crash, or any other means of transportation.

Lilly suddenly stood up and earnestly patted Pablo’s arm. “Master, if you’re facing a problem, please tell me. I want to help you!”

Pablo remained silent for a moment before reluctantly saying, “Lilly, a few days ago, your mother went home for the last time before being reincarnated, but she got lost…”

Lilly was taken aback. My mom got lost?

Pablo touched his nose and continued, “Something unexpected happened. Your mother’s soul turned into a star and flew away. I searched for two days but couldn’t find her.”

“We need to find your mother and help her with the process of reincarnation…”

Lilly immediately exclaimed, “Master, why didn’t you tell me earlier?”

Without waiting for a response, Lilly ran off with her puppet rabbit in her arms, urging Pablo to follow. “Hurry, let’s find Mom together!”

Lilly couldn’t contain her excitement at the thought of seeing her mother again. Although her grandparents and uncles in the Crawford family had been kind to her, she longed to be reunited with her mother.

Calculating with her fingers and searching high and low, Lilly unknowingly arrived at the back door of Yassen. Without hesitation, she rushed in, leaving Pablo calling after her, “Lilly?”

On the other hand, Gemma finished her class and checked her timetable. She was pleasantly surprised to find out that the teacher would be on leave that afternoon. This meant she had the opportunity to go see a newly released movie. She never expected to be this lucky. With a cheer, she got into her car, clutching her book, and drove away.

As soon as Gemma left, Lilly arrived at the door of her classroom and looked around. Disappointed, she muttered to herself, “Mother isn’t here either.”

She couldn’t understand. She had calculated that her mother would be here!

It seemed as if fate was playing tricks on them. Little did Lilly or Pablo know that Jean was now possessed by Gemma, and everything was being controlled by the thoughts of the host, Gemma.

On the way home, Lilly leaned against the car window, gazing out at the street.

“Mom, mom…” she whispered repeatedly, her beautiful black eyes filled with disappointment.

After dinner, Lilly learned from her master and father that her mother had disappeared at the Crawford’s house, so she began searching around the yard.

Everyone in the Crawford family watched in confusion as the little girl ran all over the yard like a ball of energy.

She pulled at bushes, climbed trees, and even searched beside the rockery pool…

Lilly stuck her head into the rockery in the garden and asked, “Hello, is mom here?”

Tortoise, “?”

In the temporary chicken coop behind the kitchen, Lilly opened the hen’s nest and asked, “Hey, chicken cuckoo, have you seen my mother?”

Chicken Cuckoo, “??”

Even before going to bed at night, Lilly ran to the balcony and spread Polly’s wings, asking, “Polly Polly, did mom hide in your feathers?”

Polly, “???”

Polly quacked, “No, I don’t have a mother…”

After causing a commotion all night, Lilly finally fell asleep.

Pablo was astonished. This… this reaction was too intense…

The Crawford family looked on with concern. Doesthe little girl miss her mother?

She must be missing her mother.

Mrs. Crawford felt a pang of sadness, her eyes turning red at the thought of Jean.

Poor girl… your mother can never come back…

Lilly spent two days searching for her mother, but couldn’t find her.

Soon it was time for her to go back to school.

Lilly couldn’t help but zone out during class, keeping the search for her mother in the back of her mind.

“Lilly…” Miss Flora called during roll call, but noticed Lilly zoning out. She couldn’t help but shout, “Lilly Crawford?”

The usually lively little girl was quiet today. Miss Flora assumed that she was still affected by the cyberbullying and felt uneasy.

Lilly quickly raised her hand and said, “Here!”

Miss Flora was slightly startled and smiled, “Very good, Lilly. I’m glad you’re here!”

Even adults struggle with cyberbullying. Miss Flora had been worried that the little girl would be deeply affected by it.

Fortunately, looking at her now, she still seemed gentle and cute.

Lilly sensibly apologized, “I’m sorry~ I made the teacher worry!”

Miss Flora touched her head and said, “It’s okay. As long as you’re alright!”

“Alright, kids, take your seats! Today we have a very important class taught by one of our classmates’ fathers. Can you guess who it is?”

The children started chatting excitedly, and Lilly was curious too. Whose father was coming to class?

Miss Flora continued, “I won’t keep you waiting any longer. Today, our entire kindergarten will participate in an explosion-proof drill…”

She explained what an explosion-proof drill was and what everyone needed to do, and then revealed-

“This drill will be conducted by Lilly’s father, who is a great soldier. He will teach us how to escape from dangerous situations and show us how to handle the bad guys!”

Miss Flora only mentioned Blake’s identity and nothing else, but being a soldier was already impressive in the eyes of the children.

The children were amazed and looked at Lilly with sparkling eyes.

Lilly suddenly felt a surge of pride in her heart.

It was her father!

He didn’t even tell her when she came in the morning.

Excited, Lilly put aside the search for her mother for now.

Her mind was filled with thoughts of her dad, and she couldn’t wait to go to the field.

The children lined up, and Lilly saw the stage in the distance. Her dad was wearing an army green camouflage uniform, standing tall with a serious expression on his face and his hands clasped behind his back.

Her father looked even taller on the podium, with sharp eyebrows and sparkling eyes. Lilly thought he was the most handsome father in the world!

Standing behind Blake were two men in army green camouflage uniforms. Lilly, being biased, didn’t find the two uncles as good-looking as her father, which made her father seem even more majestic.

Lilly was overjoyed.

“Look, that’s my daddy! That’s my daddy~” Lilly couldn’t wait to share, “The one standing right in front, the tallest one!”

Mia exclaimed, “Lilly, your daddy is so tall!”

The children joined in, “As tall as a telephone pole.”
