Chapter 107 – A Little Princess’s Journey from Darkness to Light Novel

Heh, she’s amusing.

Lilly also looked at Blake and wondered, Is he my Battle Daddy?

She struggled to lift her head and noticed that Blake was tall, even taller than Anthony. She wondered if he would hit the door frame when entering, and a part of her wanted to

witness that scene.

The other stunned guests began to regain their composure.

A VIP guest, highly regarded by the MacNeil family, hurried over to Blake and respectfully greeted him, “Chief MacNeil!”

The room erupted in astonishment. The God of Battle had arrived! The man who protected Dudroinia, a hero respected by influential figures!

Only then did Giuliana snap out of her daze. She walked excitedly towards Blake, leaning on her cane, and exclaimed dramatically, “My dear grandson! You’re finally back!”

Jerome, too, was overcome with relief and excitement. “It’s good to have you back! Your grandma has been eagerly awaiting your return. She couldn’t eat or sleep properly when you were away on your mission…”

Giuliana wiped away her tears. “You’ve grown up! It’s been over ten years since you left, and I still remember when you were a child. I used to hold you and comfort you…”

Tristan warmly greeted him, “Blake, you’re back! We’ve been eagerly anticipating your return ever since you mentioned celebrating Grandma’s birthday and surprising her!”

Kevin also wore a proud expression and was brimming with joy. “Mr. Blake, please come inside! I’ll assist you with your belongings!”

The MacNeil family showered Blake with greetings, treating him as the head of their family.

Blake glanced indifferently at Kevin.

Kevin immediately halted his actions of lifting things and dared not move. He stood frozen in place, sweating profusely.

What’s happening? Why do I feel like Mr. Blake is about to kill me?

“Why the rush?” Blake surveyed the room. “Tell me, what happened just now?”

His voice was pleasant, but an inexplicable coldness emanated from him.

Jerome and Giuliana, caught up in their excitement, hadn’t noticed what Blake had said upon his arrival. They hadn’t heard him mention that Lilly was his daughter. After all, the leaders had informed them that Blake was single and had no children, so they subconsciously didn’t consider it.

Jerome glanced indifferently at Lilly and said, “It doesn’t matter! We know you wanted to help us. Just forget about it! You’ve just returned…”

Giuliana wiped her tears and chimed in, “Yes, let’s leave them be! She’s just an uneducated child!”

Blake’s expression gradually darkened, and he said coldly, “Just tell me. I’ll deal with anyone who provokes my family.”

Giuliana felt a surge of joy. So this is what it feels like to have a powerful relative! It’s so secure!

She sighed and hypocritically explained, “This child is from the Crawford family. She came to us two days ago, claiming her father was from the MacNeil family. We refused to let her in. Leo may be mischievous, but he knows his limits. He wouldn’t have an illegitimate daughter. Perhaps they held a grudge after being rejected. This child fell on her own and falsely accused Kevin of pushing her. Then, her adult companion unreasonably attacked Kevin.”

Jerome nodded and added, “They even smashed my cherished vase! They have no manners or education!”

Jerome and Giuliana looked at Anthony and Lilly with disdain. Look, our grandson wants to seek justice for us! No matter how wealthy you are, you can’t surpass our grandson!

Soon, they heard Blake say, “False accusations, huh? And they even destroyed an antique vase?”

Jerome quickly replied, “That’s correct! I had specially displayed that vase to welcome you. It’s worth hundreds of millions.”

Jerome’s eyes flickered slightly. The Crawford family is wealthy, right? I’ll swindle them out of a few hundred million!

Blake glanced at the meticulously arranged flower stands on both sides of the yard. Each stand held two antique vases.

“It’s truly a pity,” he sighed softly.

Before the MacNeil family could react, Blake suddenly grabbed Kevin and threw him out. With a loud crash, Kevin knocked down several flower stands, causing the antique vases to shatter into pieces.

Lilly’s eyes widened, and she couldn’t help but gasp in awe. Wow, that’s cool!

Kevin lay on the ground in the yard, coughing and spitting out blood, trembling with pain.

“Mr. Blake…” Kevin was horrified. Why did Mr. Blake hit me?

Jerome and Giuliana were also stunned, then instinctively shouted, “No! Don’t hit Kevin…”

Jerome felt a pang of distress. My antiques!

Blake smiled with a hint of malice. “Oh, I almost forgot.”

Giuliana breathed a sigh of relief, thinking that Blake had forgotten Kevin’s affiliation with the MacNeil family. However, she watched as Blake removed his body armor and uniform, tossing them into the car.

He cracked his knuckles, took a step forward, and squatted in front of Kevin, who was vomiting blood.

Kevin quickly said, “I’m fine, Mr. Blake. I…”

Blake interrupted him, “But I’m not fine! I forgot to take off my uniform before hitting you. Let’s just pretend I didn’t hit you just now.”

Upon hearing this, Blake’s subordinate sighed helplessly.

Kevin was puzzled. The MacNeil family also couldn’t comprehend what Blake meant.

Crack! Blake suddenly squeezed Kevin’s hand, crushing the bones in his wrist.

“Ah!” Kevin let out a scream.

“Shh.” Blake frowned. “You’re being too noisy.”

With that, Blake stood up and kicked Kevin. Kevin flew through the air, shattering the remaining antiques into pieces. He landed on the flowerbed, and it was unclear whether he was alright.

Blake walked towards Lilly and asked the people present, “I didn’t quite catch that earlier. Who’s going to teach my daughter a lesson?”

As Blake finished speaking, he stood in front of Lilly, bent down, and lifted her up.

Everyone was stunned. What? Lilly is Blake MacNeil’s daughter!

The MacNeil family was also shocked, and an immediate chill ran down their spines.

The revelation that the Crawford family’s beloved little princess was the daughter of the God of Battle left everyone in shock.

Jerome and Giuliana were completely stunned. Just two days ago, Anthony had brought Lilly to the MacNeil family in search of her biological father, and now Blake was confirming that Lilly was indeed his daughter.

To their surprise, it wasn’t Leo MacNeil but Blake MacNeil!

A sense of unease suddenly washed over them.

Blake had ruthlessly injured Kevin, and they might have unintentionally offended him.

Jerome’s voice trembled. “Stay calm! We had no idea. We’re innocent! We’re also his close relatives…”

Giuliana stuttered. “Yes… yes! You’re right!”

They struggled to maintain their composure.

The tall Blake embraced Lilly with a straight posture. He was dressed in black, which accentuated his strong arms, while Lilly looked adorable in a white dress. They were a striking pair.

Blake playfully pinched Lilly’s chin and smiled. “Lilly, I’m your Daddy! Did I look handsome just now?”

Anthony, standing by, remained expressionless. He seemed eager to get to know Lilly.

Lilly didn’t answer but gazed at Blake. Daddy didn’t appear clever, but Mommy had taught her that when others seek praise, she shouldn’t hesitate to give it because her words could change their lives.

So Lilly gave Blake a thumbs up. “Handsome, very handsome, super handsome!”

Blake was momentarily taken aback, then chuckled. He adored Lilly, especially her cuteness.

“Tell me, how did they mistreat you earlier?”
