She would try looking for Halston, regardless of whether Jovan was telling the truth or not.
“Casino?” Harvey smiled and said proudly, ‘Ms. Flossie, you came to the right person-my boss asked me to look into such places recently. Beach City has plenty of casinos, but as for a recently established and famous one, I think Osk Casino fits the bill best. It’s a subsidiary casino of Life Casino, one of the eight largest casinos in the world.” “Life Casino from Wiwell? That’s big.” Flossie nodded thoughtfully.
“Can you bring me there?” “Sure, but it only allows members to enter. They check the customers’ properties before allowing them to enter, and the membership fee isn’t cheap at all. Are you okay with that, Ms. Flossie?” Harvey asked hesitantly. Not everyone could enter casinos because they were illegal. There was no way to promote it, and its membership requirements were extremely strict. It had become famous because of its exclusivity.
“Do I look poor to you?” Flossie scoffed.
“I don’t know about that… After all, they need their customers to have at least 20 million dollars in their bank account upon entry. Is there any way to sneak in?” She knew she couldn’t get that much money in such a short time, so she hoped that maybe she could pull some strings.
“No, there’s no way around it.” Harvey shook his head. “They’ve got a very good security system to punish those who try to sneak in. They’re very experienced in it. Plus, you can’t play the games if you sneak in without an identity, so what’s the point of sneaking in?” “I’m looking for someone,” Flossie answered vaguely, then sighed. “Fine, I’ll try to get the money.” She thought about her circle of friends, and out of them, there were only two people who could lend her 20 million dollars. One of them was Xavier, the young heir of Universal Entertainment, and the other was Jovan, who pestered her shamelessly every day. After some contemplation, Flossie chose to seek Jovan’s help. Jovan was aware of the situation, but Xavier was not. Besides, Xavier was a blabbermouth. If he went to the casino with her and exposed their whereabouts, it would be very inconvenient.
“Wait here. I’ll transfer the money to your account soon.” Flossie went to a milk tea shop and ordered a cup of milk tea for Harvey while he was waiting. Then, she went to a corner and called Jovan.

The grand hall was equipped with many machines that offered all kinds of games, and beautiful female dealers were handling the games at every table.
Flossie had plenty of experience in such areas, but was still amazed when she stepped into the hall. She wondered if Halston was around and had become obsessed with the life of luxury there.
Harvey led the way, and both he and Flossie soon arrived at a gambling table.
Flossie just wanted to take a look, but a tall middle-aged man came up to her and said firmly, “You can’t just watch here. It’s rare for US to have a female guest, so you should go play one or two rounds.”
Flossie sized the man up. He was wearing a black suit and had a beard, and his gaze was sharp and dangerous. He looked like a gangster, but he didn’t seem reckless. Flossie figured he was from the administration part of the casino.
“That’s the manager of Osk Casino, Victor Reed. He’s good at gambling but is very vicious. Be careful,” Harvey whispered to Flossie.
“It’s okay, I’ve faced many big shots in my life. This is nothing.” Flossie patted Harvey’s shoulder reassuringly, then faced Victor and said confidently, “Sure. Whoever wins two out of three games is the winner, and both of us will have the chance to distribute the cards. Isn’t that fair?”
Flossie’s method was troublesome, but was undeniably fair. Victor could not object. “Fine, we’ll do as you say. You’re a woman, so I’ll let you start first.” Victor spread his hands and spoke like a gentleman.
“Thank you for your politeness, Mr. Reed.” Flossie leaned forward and picked up the stack of cards in the middle of the gambling table, then smoothly shuffled the cards and distributed them like a professional. Each of them had five cards, and the person with the most accumulated points would win that round.
After the cards were distributed, the game began…
