Lin Qian froze for a second. She was holding a glass of red wine in her left hand, but when she heard this news from Mother Li, she was so shocked that she couldn’t focus on anything else.
“Mom, are you trying to say that he won’t be home tonight…?”
“No. I’m saying that he might never come home.”
