“Just because I like a clean environment doesn’t mean I am a neat freak’ as you suggest. You are a total slob, that’s your problem.” Damon picks up a stapler and chucks it at Cyrus. Cyrus laughs, contented with the rise he got out of him.

“Have you seen my place. It is clean as a whistle. Plus, my baby lives with me now. I can’t get dirty. Well, I’m going to be dirty, but not that dirty. I’m going to be the “hey baby girl let’s try putting that up…….”

“Shut up Cyrus.” I interrupted him just in time to save us from the details. Tyler chokes on a doughnut he was attempting to eat, and Damon just shakes his head. It is better not to go rounds with Cyrus. He is too witty. Cyrus will always win. Fates help Raven.

“How is Raven handling letting all of this out? Her history I mean. I ask, concerned. Cyrus is like my brother; I plan on being close with her.

“According to our beautiful Luna Ayla Knight, she is day drinking….a lot. Ayla said she told her about her giftings and all the gritty stuff she didn’t tell her originally. Then she drank some more. She hasn’t killed me.. I’m making progress.” Cyrus admits and I can see him struggling with his emotions. Cyrus wants his mate, fearing rejection but also wanting to throw her over his shoulder and keep her locked up forever.

Revenge tour

Ayla

I followed Raven quickly as we headed through the door to…well their apartment and down the stairs. “Where are we going?” I hurried behind her. It is time that these long??egged shifters consider that I must walk twice as much to keep up with them. “Will you slow down?” I asked, jogging to catch up to her.

“Sorry I was on a mission.” she states as she clicks the binker thing to her car. I should learn more about those.

“Should you be driving?” I question as she opens the door and climbs in behind the wheel of the car.

“I have a hypermetabolism from whatever they did to me. It takes a lot more than 14 beers to put me down.” Raven hiccups.

“Fourteen bee….” I don’t get to finish my sentence before Raven whips out of the parking lot, tires screeching and the smell of burnt rubber flies straight into my oversensitive nose.

“I think I’m going to be sick.” I cough, waving the stench away from me. Raven reached into her center console and pulls out a coffee mug with a picture of a middle finger on it.

“If you’re going to spew…spew in the cup,” she hands it over to me and I grip it in my lap for dear life. “Thank you for my barf cup.” A sentence I never thought I would say in my lifetime.

“Are you going to tell me where we are going?” I ask again.

“We are going to start a trauma bond healing….something. Trauma healing….no…I can’t say it all girly like you she??olves. We are going to fuck some shit up.” she presses her foot down on the gas and I grip my mug tighter.
