His eyes seemed to want to swallow her up. Grace stared blankly at the man in front of her. Looking at his delicate and handsome face, she watched him slowly approach her. Her eyelashes quivered as she watched him. Then, she slowly closed her eyes.
He was kissing her!
The kiss was lingering and overbearing. His fingers firmly clasped the back of her head as if she was not allowed to struggle and escape.
“Grace…” His enamored voice melted into the kiss.
It was as if unknowingly, he could no longer allow her to leave. He had a sudden and stronger urge to find out how he loved her in those memories he lost…
When Hadwin Stephenson returned to his mansion in Emerald City, he found Katherine Jackson sitting on the couch in the living room. She appeared to be leisurely waiting for him.
“Who let you in?” Hadwin Stephenson narrowed his eyes and stared at Katherine Jackson with displeasure.
“I’m your girlfriend, President Stephenson. If I want to come in, can the security guards outside stop me?” Katherine Jackson said with a chuckle. Her gorgeous face seemed even more enchanting. “Did you go to see your ex-girlfriend again?”
Hadwin Stephenson’s face instantly darkened.
Yes, he had gone to see Lina again, but… he only secretly watched her while hiding in the shadows. He watched her leave work in the same car she had five years ago, go on another date with the same man he had seen that day, and saw the way she smiled at him.
However, all he could do was watch. No matter how painful it was or how jealous he felt, he had no right to approach her.
‘Lina. That’s my Lina!’
“What a pity though. No matter how much you go over to look at your ex-girlfriend, you can never be together. Speaking of which, how old is she? She’s probably 33 now. She’ll probably get married in a year or two. A woman can’t afford to waste her youth!” Katherine Jackson walked up to Hadwin Stephenson and touched his chest with her fingernails that were painted red.
“Shut up!” Hadwin Stephenson instantly grabbed Katherine Jackson’s hand and shook it off. His eyes were full of disgust.
“Don’t touch me.”
“What’s the matter? It’s been five years and you’re still in denial?” Katherine Jackson shook her hand nonchalantly. “Don’t forget, it was you who cried and begged me to save Lina’s life. Otherwise, she would’ve probably died on her way back instead of being hospitalized for serious injuries.”
Hadwin Stephenson’s face turned cold. He felt like he could not breathe every time he thought about it.
“Hadwin, I gave you everything you wanted-Lina’s life and absolute control of the Stephenson family. But the price you have to pay… is to be with me and never get back together with Lina! Weren’t you willing to pay such a price back then?” Katherine Jackson asked loudly.
Hadwin Stephenson breathed heavily, but his face was pale.
‘Yeah, it was my decision. I decided that… I could no longer be with Lina.!
“Hadwin, why are you so obsessed with Lina? Am I not beautiful or good enough?” Katherine Jackson’s eyes were seductive, showing her charm.
Every man she had ever set her eyes on ended up falling for her, but Hadwin Stephenson seemed to be an exception. If she had not used Lina’s life and the Stephenson family, this man would not be with her right now.
However, the more he did that, the more she wanted to conquer him! She found it fun!
“I’ve been waiting for you for five years too. Speaking of which, I’m almost 30. Shouldn’t you give me a wedding and make me the legitimate Mrs. Stephenson?”
Hadwin Stephenson pressed his thin lips together tightly. To him, his wife was always Lina.
However, his carelessness that year made it so that he could never be with Lina again. He did not even… have the right to be with her anymore.
Hadwin Stephenson lowered his eyes, hiding the glint in them.
“If you really want a wedding, it’s possible. Once I settle my business in Emerald City, I’ll go to your family and discuss our wedding’s matters.”
“Really?” Katherine Jackson looked delighted. She did not expect Hadwin Stephenson to agree.
“Since I’m already saying so, do you think it could be false?” Hadwin Stephenson asked lightly. As he looked at Katherine Jackson, his gaze suddenly turned sharp. “But you can’t touch Lina. I’ll take you down with me if you dare touch her!”
Katherine Jackson froze. The glint in the man’s eyes was terrifying! Even though he agreed to marry her, he still had no feelings for her.
‘I refuse to believe it! Sooner or later, I’ll have Hadwin Stephenson fall for me! Lina is a nobody! She’ll probably be old and ugly in a few years!
‘Who is Lina to compete for a man with me? Lina was just lucky to know Hadwin first. If I got to know Hadwin first, then I’d be the one Hadwin loves now!’
Katherine Jackson took a deep breath and slowly smiled. There was a gleam of certainty in her eyes. “Okay, I won’t touch her, but I’m going to be Mrs. Stephenson!”
Grace looked elegant and noble in the limited edition black gown. She had on matching heels, delicate makeup, and wore a ruby necklace around her neck.
Today was her first formal appearance at a banquet in five years. Grace was, of course, all dressed up. After all, as the mistress of the Reed family, she could not humiliate herself.
She had prepared a nice pearl necklace for herself, but after putting on her gown, Jason personally put the ruby necklace on her.
“It’s a nice necklace, and it matches your gown today,” said Jason.
“Why do you have a women’s necklace?” she asked curiously. After all, she had just bought the gown. Even if he had gone to get matching jewelry, he could not have done it so soon.
“I bought it some time ago. I came across this necklace and suddenly thought of buying it,” said Jason. What he did not say was that he had somehow bought the necklace on impulse when he saw it.
It was as though he was subconsciously waiting for her and the day he could give her the necklace!
As Grace looked into the mirror at the ruby necklace around her neck, she remembered having told him that ruby was her birthstone since she was born in July.
Was that why he bought a ruby necklace when he did not need to?
Grace took Jason’s arm, feeling the gazes all around her.
The corners of her lips raised a little. She was not scared and graciously allowed others to look at her. Some of these people expected Mrs. Reed to be unseemly or nouveau riche-like.
However, what they saw was a demure, elegant, generous, and confident woman!

Seems Grace is more concern about dresses and how she impressed others rather than about her children…..Also her love to Jason and his love to her based only on sex ….Very strange their third child somewhere they do not know but instead they both wirey about banquets, gowns, sex, impression on others … Grace from victim transferred to abuser (her reation to another kid of another woman more than strange) pretend she is lawer but she did not work or win any case during 700 chapters About Jason we could only say he is rich and handsome (really we know more about his exlusive clothes than about his character)

She got her licence back after her case was revised But she stayed in firm only a few months (doing nothing) She wanted to help to Chase friend case but It was sorted out by Brien (not Grace), after another case was with Chase already was sorted out by Jason, legal case of Kila was sorted out by Jason So Grace did nothing and her lawyer knowledge are not presented. BUT her talant to go to expensive stores and get in troubles (she is victim other are abusers) was presented very detailed Author paid a lot of attention to dresses and exclusive food but not to characters That is all

I hope the couple will find ways to locate their third child..for it seems that they don’t mind it at all …the status and connection of Jason it is impossible to not to locate their offspring at once…I bet the Lynch girl is the other child..since her mother told her daughter that she will going to make her a real Reed soon..maybe she is just using the child for her own advantage..
