Jason gently patted Grace’s shoulder. “Alright, don’t overthink it. At least it proves Hadwin Stephenson is still alive and well! We can find out why he’s with the Jackson family later!”

Grace nodded. They could only leave things at that first. However, she wondered whether Hadwin Stephenson knew about Lina’s current situation.

‘Hadwin Stephenson loves Lina so much. He’ll certainly come to see Lina if he finds out!’

“Then… why don’t you try and see if you can pa** a message to Hadwin Stephenson. Tell Hadwin Stephenson about Lina’s current situation. In any case, Lina… really needs him right now,” Grace said after thinking it over.

She hoped Lina could see Hadwin Stephenson when she woke

“Okay, I’ll ask my men to try and pa** the message to Hadwin

Stephenson.” Jason agreed and changed the subject, saying,

“It’s almost noon. Is there anything you want to eat?”

“I’m fine with anything,” she said. Her mind was still occupied with Hadwin Stephenson and Lina’s matter.

Jason frowned slightly and raised his hand to grab Grace’s chin so that her face was facing him. “You care about

Lina and Kyla Corbyn. Can you care more about me, your husband? Can you just think of me when you’re with me?”

Grace’s face immediately turned red. The word ‘husband’ gave her a strange feeling.

“Of… Of course, I care about you too,” she said.

“How much do you care about me?”

“Uh…” She blinked. ‘Is he… jealous?’

“I care a lot about you. You’re my… husband, the father of my children. How could I not care about you?”

“You won’t care about me if I’m not their father?” he asked.

She immediately did not know whether to laugh or cry. ‘Is he even jealous over the kids?’

“Of course… not!” she said at once. Even a fool would have known what to say.

However… he was the one she loved, and because she loved him, she loved their children even more!

She raised her hand and gently rubbed his head again as she spoke.”Alright, I care about Lina and Kyla because they really need help right now. Besides, both of them have helped me a lot, especially Lina… If it hadn’t been for her, I probably wouldn’t have met you at all.”

Jason seemed to think of something and his eyes twinkled. “I know Lina is your lifeline, so you’ll help her no matter what.

But does she even matter more than me?”

Grace could not help but laugh. “That’s incomparable. My feelings for you are all different!”

“What if it has to be compared?” he asked.

Grace hesitated for a moment before looking at the person in front of her carefully. “Both of you are people I would give up my life for.”

His eyes darkened immediately.

He knew more than anyone that she valued her family and friends more than anything. She would be willing to return double the kindness others showed her. Besides, Lina had once given up her future for her.

Lina had stayed by her side in those three years. Speaking of which, he should thank Lina!

Or at least he should be satisfied that he was no less important to her than Lina. Besides, she said she loved him, right?

She had given him what he wanted.

However, why was he dissatisfied? He was even greedy for more…

“Grace, when will you make me your lifeline too?” muttered Jason. In that case, would she need him more? So much so that she could not live without him?

During lunch, Jason chose a private room and ordered some sweet and sour dishes according to Grace’s taste.

Grace’s preference for food had also changed since she became pregnant. She now enjoyed sweet and sour dishes.

Jason said with a slight smile, “I’m not. You’re pregnant, yet I can’t help you share the burden. I can at least share a little of your experience by eating the same food as you. It makes me feel like I’m accompanying you through this pregnancy.”

Grace could not help but smile at that. He was probably the only one who could think of such an explanation.

The food at the restaurant was pretty good. It gave Grace quite the appetite.

However, as she ate, she suddenly felt like throwing up again. Therefore, she made a gesture and hurried out of the private room, walking quickly toward the restroom at the end of the corridor.

The female bodyguard guarding outside the private room quickly followed her.

Only then did Jason take out his phone and call Terrence who was dining with the driver in the general dining area outside. “What did you not say in the car earlier?”

Terrence was surprised. He did not expect Master Reed to have noticed it.

Young Madam was in the car earlier, so there were some things he could not say.

“They also reported that Hadwin Stephenson and the Jackson family’s new heiress seemed very intimate. Moreover, the

Jackson family seems to be working on something in secret, possibly to help Hadwin Stephenson regain power.”

“Okay, got it,” replied Terrence.

Meanwhile, Grace finally felt better after throwing up in the restroom for a while.

Speaking of which, she was already more than three months along but the morning sickness had not stopped. She had also looked up some information and consulted doctors, so she knew that morning sickness solely depended on one’s body’s constitution. Some people would throw up until they gave birth.

The nutrition the children received would lessen due to morning sickness, so she needed to take in more nutrients.

The most direct way to take in nutrition… was by eating!

Grace gave a wry smile and looked at her still not-so-obvious belly. It seemed she still had to eat more!

She got out of the restroom, walked toward the private rooms, and pushed the door of one of them.

“Young Madam…” The bodyguard behind her called out, but it was too late. Grace had already pushed the private room door open.
