And just like that, Lilyana Klein became the official name of Andrew and Isabella’s first child.

As if on cue, Andrew entered the room, carrying a box of freshly made fish soup. Hearing Damari bestow the name, he turned to Isabella with a gentle look.

“Grandpa has given her a formal name. Darling, would you like to choose a nickname for our daughter?”

Isabella lowered her gaze to the tiny bundle in her arms, her delicate fingers brushing over her daughter’s soft cheek. A warm smile tugged at her lips. “She’s so adorable. How about ‘Nana’ for her nickname? Nana, Mommy’s going to call you that from now on, okay?”

As if understanding her mother’s words, the baby gurgled happily, waving her tiny fists in the air.

Isabella chuckled. “I’ll take that as a yes.” With an affectionate smile, she pressed her face softly against her daughter’s.

Babies slept often, and before long, Nana drifted off into peaceful slumber. Andrew, now fully embracing his role as a father, ensured every little detail was taken care of.

Once the baby was settled, he returned to Isabella’s side, carefully opening the food box. “Here, have some soup,” he said, spooning the warm, fragrant broth to her lips.

The milky-white fish soup was rich and nourishing, a dish he had personally prepared. Isabella savored the taste, warmth spreading through her.

“Thank you, Andrew,” she murmured, finishing it all.

Two days later, Isabella and Nana were discharged from the hospital and taken to the manor Damari had arranged.

The estate was nothing short of grand—sprawling grounds, state-of-the-art amenities, and a high-tech air filtration system designed for optimal health. A dedicated team of caretakers stood ready to serve both mother and child.

As they arrived, Isabella stepped out of the car and pressed a kiss to Andrew’s cheek.

“Sweetheart, you’ve done so much for me and the baby these past few days. Go take care of work, and come back to us when you’re done.”

“Okay.” Andrew guided her inside and settled her into their room. Wrapping his arms around her, he held her close for a long moment. After pressing a lingering kiss to her forehead, he reluctantly left.

Standing by the expansive window, Isabella gazed out over the breathtaking landscape of the estate.

Her thoughts drifted back—meeting Andrew, falling in love so naturally, their marriage, and now, the joy of motherhood. It all felt like a dream, a life she had never imagined for herself.

Just then, Nana’s tiny cries snapped her back to reality. She turned swiftly, instinct taking over as she hurried to her daughter’s side.

As a first-time mother, there were moments when Isabella felt lost, but with expert caregivers around her, she slowly grew more confident. Step by step, she learned, and soon, taking care of her baby became second nature.

That evening, Andrew returned from work, a bouquet of fresh flowers in hand.

Isabella had just finished feeding Nana when she heard the door open. As she looked up, her face brightened instantly at the sight of her husband.

“You’re back!” she beamed. “Why did you bring flowers?”

Andrew walked over, placing the bouquet in her hands before pressing a kiss to her forehead.

“I saw them at a shop and thought of you,” he said simply. “Do you like them?”

No woman could resist flowers—mother or not.

Isabella inhaled their delicate fragrance, her smile widening. “I love them. Thank you, honey.”

When Andrew saw her happiness, the tension of the day melted away from his shoulders.

“Did you eat? Was everything okay today? Did Nana behave?” He wrapped an arm around Isabella’s waist, guiding her toward the bed as he gently inquired about her day.

Isabella let out a soft chuckle and gestured toward their peacefully sleeping daughter.

“I wanted to wait for you so we could eat together. And our Nana has been an angel.”

They spent the evening cherishing quiet moments as a family, basking in the warmth of their little world.

A month passed in a blur, and soon, it was time for Lilyana’s one-month celebration.

Invitations were sent, and before long, the estate was filled with guests—business moguls, influential partners, and close friends.

They came bearing gifts and well-wishes to extend their congratulations to Andrew.

But when they saw Andrew, the once-distant and imposing business tycoon, effortlessly cradling a baby in his arms, they hesitated. It was an unfamiliar sight—Andrew Klein, the cold and ruthless giant of the corporate world, transformed into a devoted, doting father. For a moment, the room was silent, everyone unsure of how to approach him.

Then, breaking the stunned silence, Norton strode forward with a smirk.

“Bro, I finally get it. I kept wondering why you’ve been impossible to get ahold of. Can’t even get you out for a drink! Turns out you’re fully immersed in dad mode.”

Norton crossed his arms and let out a low whistle as he studied Andrew. “Wow. If someone had told me a few years ago that you’d turn out like this, I wouldn’t have believed them. Love really does change people.” He shook his head in amusement.

Andrew gave him a cool glance. “Before you start lecturing me, maybe take a look in the mirror.”

Norton blinked, caught off guard. But Andrew wasn’t wrong. Ever since he got together with Maxine, he had undergone his own transformation. Gone was the city’s most eligible bachelor, always exuding confidence and control. In front of Maxine, Norton had become downright soft—clingy and indulgent. The arrogance he once prided himself on had vanished the moment she entered his life.

For a second, he was speechless. Then, with a smirk, he shrugged it off. “So what? I got emotional because I could relate. We are best friends for a reason.”

Andrew knew Norton could talk his way out of anything, so instead of engaging, he simply adjusted his hold on Nana and turned away, ignoring him completely.

But Norton wasn’t about to let him go so easily. “Hey, wait! Let me see your daughter! She should totally be my goddaughter.”

He quickly moved closer, peering down at the tiny bundle in Andrew’s arms.

Nana’s tiny face was soft and angelic, her dark lashes fluttering as she gazed up at him with innocent curiosity. Norton’s heart melted on the spot.

“Andrew,” he breathed, utterly enchanted. “She’s beautiful. She has Isabella’s brows and your eyes… And look! She’s smiling at me! She likes me already.”

Andrew, who had been about to walk off, paused. Norton had been joking earlier, but now his admiration seemed genuine. Seeing that, Andrew relented, allowing his friends and business partners to come closer for a better look at his daughter.

But Norton wasn’t done yet. He didn’t just shower Nana with words—he reached into his pocket, pulled out the keys to his luxury sports car, and dangled them right above her tiny hands.

“Here, sweetheart,” he cooed. “Uncle Norton’s first gift to you. Take it. When you’re older, I’ll take you for a ride.”

As Norton presented his gift, the others eagerly followed suit. One by one, they pulled out their expensive belongings, showering Nana with lavish presents, utterly charmed by her tiny, angelic face.

While the room buzzed with conversation, Norton discreetly pulled Andrew aside, lowering his voice. “Bro, I’m serious. The moment I saw Nana, I felt this connection. She’s adorable. When Maxine and I have a son in the future, what do you think about arranging a marriage between our families?”

At first, Andrew had taken Norton’s compliments and gift as nothing more than friendly gestures. He had even appreciated how much his friend admired Nana.

But the moment those words left Norton’s mouth, Andrew’s expression turned ice-cold.

His daughter was barely a month old, and someone was already making plans to take her away? And not just anyone—his own friend?

A wave of irritation surged through him.

As he listened to Norton and the others casually discussing what Nana would be like when she grew up, an unsettling protectiveness settled in his chest. He suddenly felt wary, his patience wearing thin.

His voice was sharp and final as he shut the conversation down. “Don’t even think about it.” Without another word, he adjusted Nana in his arms, turning her tiny face toward his chest as if shielding her from prying eyes. Then, using the excuse of needing to feed her, he swiftly excused himself and carried her away, ensuring no one got another look.

At that moment, Isabella was chatting with the female guests, unaware of what had just transpired. Seeing Andrew back so soon—especially after he had been so eager to show off their daughter—she frowned slightly, sensing something was off.

Excusing herself from the group, she hurried to his side and gently took Nana from his arms.

But as she cradled their daughter, she quickly realized there was nothing wrong. Nana was wide-eyed, gazing around curiously, showing no sign of distress.

Isabella frowned, puzzled. “Andrew, what happened? Weren’t you excited to introduce Nana to everyone? Why did you bring her back so soon?”

She glanced at her daughter, concern creeping into her voice. “Is something wrong with her?”

Andrew shook his head, his tone carrying a hint of frustration. “She’s perfectly fine. It’s the people around her who aren’t.”

Isabella’s confusion deepened. “What do you mean?”

Instead of answering right away, Andrew leaned in, resting his head lightly on her shoulder. His voice dropped to a quiet murmur, laced with irritation. “Our daughter is too perfect. I barely let them take a look at her, and they’re already talking about her marriage. Norton even had the audacity to suggest an arranged marriage between Nana and his unborn son.”
