Zane POV
She then turns her attention to the trainer and yells “get him help will you! Look at him!”. The trainer is looking from her to us and back with wide eyes, before his eyes glaze over as he is mind linking the hospital. He orders 2 other warriors to carry Tom there. Tom is half awake now and frantically gripping Lola’s hand “Lola don’t! Don’t spar with him!” as the 2 warriors approach him. She replies “don’t worry Tom, you make sure you get better, okay? I’ll come visit you later if you’d like?” she smiles halfheartedly as the warriors are pulling him up. “I would love that” he smiles back at her before adding “I would say be careful you don’t end up in the bed next to me, but then again I wouldn’t exactly mind” he winks at her. Cheesy motherf*cker. She blushes and watches him being carried off. They are like 2 lovesick puppies. It’s disgusting. And infuriating. Now I am even more pissed at Zeke for not allowing me a turn on Tom. If I wouldn’t get in trouble from mom and dad for it, I would chase him down right now and finish the job.
She turns back around towards Zeke, her soft gaze towards toyboy Tom completely gone now. Her fists are clenched at her side and her jaw is ticking as if she is ready to explode. This ought to be good. The tension in the air is palpable as neither of us speaks for a few long seconds, until the trainer clears his throat and yells“alright, switch partners everyone. And please make sure Tom is the only one being escorted to the hospital today!” he says in a stern voice while glaring at Zeke. Zeke is too busy glaring at Lola, so I give the trainer a low warning growl in his place. The trainer doesn’t back down or apologize this time though, he just turns his glare from Zeke to me. I am about ready to tear him a new one, when I suddenly hear movement followed by a loud groan. When I glance over to where Zeke was standing, I now see Lola with the same livid appearance she had earlier. Zeke however is laying on the ground a few yards further, his hand covering his nose. He looks absolutely livid as he lets out a ground-shaking growl, and jumps up again. Zeke seems as confused as I am when we hear a growl coming back at him. What the f*ck? Her wolf is dormant, she still doesn’t have a scent, so I am sure it’s dormant, so how is she growling? Has she learned to growl like a wolf to scare off those who don’t know her wolf is dormant or something? It sounds so real though.
Before I can ponder on it further and before Zeke could register, she was on him again. She is landing blow after blow and kick after kick like a woman possessed, before sweeping his legs and landing him on the ground again. ‘Dude get up! This is getting embarrassing!’ I yell at Zeke through the mind link. I look around and see everyone is watching too, so I growl and yell “ALL OF YOU BACK TO YOUR OWN SESSIONS!” and they scurry off quickly. Zeke is now beyond fuming, his face is as red as a tomato and I don’t think I’ve ever seen him this angry. If he wasn’t my brother I might actually be a bit scared of him right now. He looks unhinged, feral even. Lola, however, looks composed and even focused. Zeke charges at her like a bull on steroids with his superhuman wolf speed, and just when I think he is going to actually crush her with his bare hands, she steps aside and simply sticks out her foot to trip him. And he does. If I was embarassed before, this a whole other level to it. ‘Come onnnnn Zeke for f*ck sake, that’s a child’s move, and you fell for it!’. Zeke catches his fall with his hands, but before he can jump up, she lands herself on his back and shoots her legs around his, before wrapping her arms around his throat and leaning backwards. Oh sh*t. Zeke is roaring and thrashing wildly, rolling both of them around, so she is below his crushing weight. He is even pulling forward and letting his weight fall back on top of her in an attempt to get her to let go, but she doesn’t budge. She is relentless and whatever Zeke is throwing at her, she is holding on and choking him as if her life depended on it. And if she isn’t getting squashed by someone who is probably double her weight.
Before he can pass out, his wolf Lex takes over and Lola is crushing beneath his weight. As we are royal Lycans, Lex is huge, just like my Lycan Lance. And, Lex is beyond livid. Somehow, she is able to push Lex off with her legs just enough to wiggle from under him. Lex rolls over and is on all fours. He starts circling her like the prey she is for him, as he snarls and claps his teeth at her. She has to be fearful of him, especially in human form, but she still isn’t showing it. I have to admit she has some balls on her. Every warrior here is looking at Lex with absolute terror in their eyes, and yet the human girl seems unfazed. Lex pounces on her with his incredible speed, and she falls to the ground as he puts his paws on her arms and legs, pinning her to the ground and probably crushing some bones in the process with his weight. He is growling dangerously with his snout almost touching her face, saliva is practically dripping on her face. He is that close. To my and probably everyone’s surprise, she headbutts him! She actually f*cking headbutts a snarling Lycan who is baring his teeth in warning… Well f*ck. Lex is going to kill her now.
Although I wanted her gone, I don’t want her dead I guess. Everything is moving at lightning speed, it is hard to keep up.. How is she so fast? Before I can mind link Zeke and Lex to refrain from killing her, I see her ripping one arm from under his paw, slashing it open completely in the process. I cringe at the sight, it looks brutal. And as a human, it will take forever to heal. Before any of us had a chance to say or do anything else, she plunges her fingers into Lex’ right eye. Damn.. Lex jolts away from her in pain as he is vocalizing a mixture of whimpering and growling. Suddenly, she yells “shift back wolf! I have no beef with you yet, only with your human. If you continue, I will have to fight dirty as I don’t have a wolf”. Zeke and Lex link me, as we cannot speak from our wolf forms, ‘tell the b*tch that we are one, beef with Zeke is beef with Lex!’. “They are requesting me to tell you that they are one and thus beef with Zeke, is beef with Lex” I repeat to Lola hesitantly. “Very well. Don’t blame me when you’re permanently damaged, wolf boy” she says to Lex. “LEX STOP” I yell, in a feeble attempt to preserve her life. But it is to no avail. Lex roars at her in return and charges her.
Lola POV
It sucks not being able to use Liberty. Especially when you are up against a massive 10 feet Lycan. I don’t like fighting dirty, but up against this literal beast I have to, I have no other choice. Other than submitting, that is. But I will die before I do that. He is an Alpha Lycan ,and as I have offended him I’ll actually be dead in seconds if I don’t fight with all I have, dirty or not. ‘I’m on standby, I won’t let that happen’, Liberty replies in my mind. I gave them one last warning because the things I am about to do could damage them permanently. But being the Alpha that they are, their ego was too big to back down, so I guess Zeke and Lex would like to lose their eyesight or forfeit their chance at having pups. Although werewolves heal incredibly fast and can heal almost anything, certain injuries where nerves are involved or anything is actually completely torn off, will not be able to heal. I haven’t destroyed his eyesight beyond repair, yet, but if we continue like this and he actually tries to kill me – I just might. Zane is looking anxiously to the side. I don’t know what he is anxious about – if it about Lex or me who is about to be mangled beyond repair, but anyway.
