I’m watching her give him a hug and whisper something in his ear, and I can’t suppress the low growl that escapes me whilst watching them. I can feel my claws itching to be let out and storm over there, but my wolf and I have to keep it together. Why is she getting under my skin so much? I have always hated rogues with a passion and, although I really don’t want to admit this to myself, I’m not even sure where this blazing anger is coming from right now and where it is aimed at. But something about the whole thing is pissing me off beyond reasoning. I’m not even sure myself anymore if it is just because she is a rogue and people seem to like her. But it has to be that. I shake off my confusion when she is approached by another warrior to team up. When I am finally composed again, I can see a warrior standing next to me, staring at me with a confused look. “What?” I grit out. “Your highness, would you like to spar with me?” “oh… Yeah, sure”. This is a mediocre warrior I would say, so I can still focus on the battle a few yards away from me.

As I suspected, she was holding back for that Tim f*cker, as she is actually landing punches at this new guy. What the hell is so special about this Tim f*cker for her to hold back anyway? He looks mediocre at best with his brown hair and brown eyes. Nothing about him is special. Whereas Zane and I could get every she wolf in this Kingdom at the snap of our fingers. And she didn’t seem to have any issues going all out on us. I must have zoned out, because all of a sudden I get a punch in my stomach and get sent on my *ss. I look up to see the warrior I was sparring with having an anxious expression on his face, probably scared of what I am about to say or do. But I can’t help but glue my eyes immediately back to the girl, not even acknowledging what just happened. They are both landing punches back and forth, but she is mostly dodging punches as opposed to actually fighting back. Considering how calculating she was on the obstacle course, I assume she is saving strength. ‘Look at that pathetic Tom f*cker over there, he is still watching her like a hawk rather than sparring with his new partner’ Zane growls through the mind link. I guess he is equally not a fan of Tim as I am (yes I know now his actual name is Tom. But I’ll keep calling him Tim just for the sake of it). ‘I’m sparring with Tim next, let’s get this f*cker’ I tell Zane while he grins at me in return ‘I’ll take him after. If he is still standing that is’. Oh, I don’t plan on it.

Zane POV

I watch her every move intently during the first 2 sparring sessions. I saw Zeke going over there and warning Tom not to hold back, and I also saw the glances back and forth they exchanged after he left. And I didn’t miss the fact that she f*cking winked at the guy. If he survives sparring with Zeke, I am going to f*ck him up royally. I hate the guy, and I’ll make sure he knows I do if Zeke leaves me some. The guy she is sparring with now seems not to be holding back as much, but they are pretty evenly tied. Although she is mostly just evading punches rather than fighting back. P*ssy. Although I’m watching her moves (which are pretty nonexistent at the moment), I still keep an eye on the guy I am sparring with. I don’t want to land on my *ss like Zeke just did because I zoned out too much, it’s embarrassing, and I can’t help but snicker inwardly at Zeke. The trainer yells it’s time to switch partners again, and I pick a low-rank warrior as I now have 2 battles to focus on. I also want to watch Zeke hand it to Tom. I could fight this guy with my eyes closed and only 1 limb to use.

I look at the guy she was sparring with, he is giving her a hand and a warm smile. His hand lingers in hers as he is talking to her, and it pisses me off. What is with all these f*ckers? They all seem to want to get on her good side, and it is pissing me off more and more. They smile at each other before the guy disperses into the crowd looking for his next partner. Looking around, I can see at least half the field is either unabashedly or secretly glancing towards her and I hear a loud growl reverberating through the field. All heads are turning my way, and I suddenly realize the growl was coming from me. “Continue” I say awkwardly. I don’t know why it pisses me off so much, but it really, really does. I see a few of the warriors approaching her simultaneously as they all seem to ask her to spar next. I glance over to Tom and see his eyes are narrowed, and his jaw is clenched. ‘You think they are mates or something?’ I ask Zeke. ‘Don’t know man. I don’t think they would even know if they were, since she has no wolf’. I guess that’s true. So why is he so damn interested in her? Whatever. I see her looking at the warriors that have approached her as she picks one of the lower ranked warriors. Of course she does, I scoff to myself. P*ssy.

I immediately go in hard and fast on my sparring partner and injure him in the process. I didn’t really mean to hurt him, but I can now focus on the battle of Zeke and the battle of Lola. Glancing her way I can immediately tell she is distracted, she isn’t even looking at her opponent. She is looking at Tom, who is getting his *ss handed to him brutally. As she isn’t paying attention, she receives a big punch in the face. That has to hurt for someone without a wolf. She quickly looks back at her opponent and kicks him in his center, throwing him back a few yards before landing on his *ss with a thud. Before he even lands, her gaze is already glued to Tom again, who f*cking else. Tom is bleeding in numerous places and his nose looks very broken and bloody. I smirk at the sight of him, that’ll teach the f*cker. ‘Leave some for me brother’ I link Zeke quickly. I can tell he really doesn’t want to, but I know he will just to prolong this f*cker’s misery. I look over to see an absolutely fuming Lola, she looks about ready to rip Zeke apart if she could. It almost looks as if her eyes are darker? But it can’t be because her wolf is dormant, I’m sure it just looks like it from this far away. As Zeke lands another devastating blow to Tom, he is launched a few yards back and drops to the ground like a sack of potatoes. He doesn’t make any moves to get up. I hear a big screech and see Lola running towards Tom. Of course she is. Isn’t she such a selfless altruist? I growl lowly at the sight. Something about it is just off.

Zeke just stands there smirking and as the trainer heads towards Zeke, so do I. The trainer seems livid at Zeke, but he wouldn’t dare say anything. Lola is crouched down looking at Tom full of concern and asking him what he is feeling and if he is ok, blah blah. She has one hand on his abdomen and one on his cheek and the sight of it is f*cking disgusting – they aren’t mates so get the f*ck off of each other. I have a hard time controlling my emotions and my wolf and I can only just suppress a growl from coming out. Zeke however – usually the more composed out of the 2 of us – seems to be unable to as he lets out a dangerous warning growl. I see the trainer flinch and take a minor step back. Lola however, snaps her head towards Zeke, staring straight at him and shooting daggers at him. For a second there, I thought I saw her eyes had darkened again. But I blinked, and it was gone. I must have imagined it. Without breaking eye contact with Zeke, she yells at him “you and I are sparring next”. We both can’t help but laugh at the thought that she is seriously thinking she can handle him.

But our laughs quickly die out as she is literally shaking from anger, and now I can’t help but be angry again that she is this worked up over freaking Tom.
