Nadia’s messages all state how sorry she is for what happened and how she didn’t mean to but couldn’t control her wolf, how much she misses me and wants me to come back and how she wants to know if I’m OK. Jason’s messages are mostly the same, except his haven’t stopped at some point realizing I didn’t bring my phone – he is still messaging me every day. I’m not really the forgiving type, so for now I leave their messages as they are and don’t reply. ‘Lib, is it really possible they couldn’t have control over their wolves?’ ‘I guess so, yes. You and I are very in sync and on the same page a lot, but remember that same night I also took over control to put that pup in his place. You also momentarily didn’t have control’. Hmmm. As I am strolling through the gardens I contemplate whether or not to answer them. If it really wasn’t in their control, am I not being a d*ck for holding it against them? Deep in thoughts with Evanescence’s “Going under” playing now, my phone beeps again. It’s a message from Chris “once again I’m so sorry Lola.. You don’t know how much you mean to me, please come back to us”. I snort to myself reading the lines again “you don’t know how much you mean to me”. Lol. I wonder how much I meant when they threw rotten eggs at me, when they beat me up relentlessly, when they left me for dead or when he tried to force himself onto me. Yeah, sorry my *ss. I feel a presence coming behind me, and before I can turn to have a look I am knocked down. I hold up my palms to catch my fall and quickly drop myself to the ground and pull my legs up ready to kick at whoever is coming for me.

Lola POV

Looking up, I see none other than the f*cking twins again, smirking at me. I am telling you, they are really, REALLY starting to piss me off. I feel the fire within me bubbling again, to the point where it’s hard to control my impulses. I know I really should, but it was much easier to do so when I didn’t have my wolf yet and when my life hadn’t been knocked upside down. But what do I have to lose now? I feel like a kamikaze pilot at times when I get angry. It feels like it consumes me, and I’d burn the world down with me in it. I remove my air pods because even though they give me a boost, I can’t afford them to distract me when facing 2 Lycan princes. As I am hanging on by a thin thread just glaring at the f*ckers in front of me, Zane has a derisive smile on his face before he spits on my clothes and says “right where you belong, in the dirt”. His brother Zeke hunches over laughing. And just like that, all I see is red. Oh, this is about to go down.

I swipe my legs below both of them as hard and fast as I possibly can, effectively knocking both of them on their *sses with 1 sweep. I stand up immediately to have a brief second of towering over them, as they just did to me. I kick up some dirt while they are still down and seethe “beneath the dirt, right where you 2 pieces of sh*t belong”. Both of them jump up and let out a ferocious growl, their irises have blackened, indicating their wolves are coming forward. I can see the warriors that have gathered jump back a little at the intensity of it, but when I am this angry, I am not backing down. As we don’t want to blow Liberty’s cover just yet I don’t growl, but I stare them straight in the eyes and grit out “anything else you’d like to say to me, pups?”. And now both of them seem to be as angered as I am. ‘Good, let’s show these f*ckers up. You got this Lola’ Liberty growls ferociously in my mind, as seething as I am.

Zeke lunges at me to grab my throat and I catch his hand midair, using it to swing him off to the side. I don’t notice I swung him against a tree, hard, until I hear a big thud. Zane then charges at me like a bull seeing a red flag. He tries to land a low kick, but I jump up avoiding it, while connecting my own foot to his face. The kick is blasting him backwards a few feet before he lands on his *ss. Now if these pups weren’t already pissed before, they sure as hell are now. I’m sure both of them are seeing red. Which is an advantage to me, considering the way they are charging me without thinking. I get livid beyond reason too, but I am somehow still able to stay level headed in my fighting. Both of them get up and lunge themselves at me simultaneously. What a dumb *ss move. Are these really the princes? I sidestep both of them, leaving them to collide against each other in full force. I can’t help the snicker that escapes me and I decide to antagonize them a little further. The angrier they get, the more advantage I’ll have. “Wow, do you 2 never train with the warriors or something? I swear I saw 2 warriors early fighting better than you are?” I smirk. I knowit hits the spot when both their faces actually turn red, and I can see the color draining from the faces of the few warriors who have gathered around us.

Both dimwits extend their claws and come charging towards me, side by side. I use my signature move and slide under them while they try to slash their claws at me, but this time I don’t kick them in the belly, I want to do more damage. So, I kick them both in their private parts as hard as I possibly can. Liberty snickers in my head, before speaking ‘good luck trying to f*ck around now’. I snicker back at her. Both of them drop to the ground hunched over, grabbing their groins. “F*cking b*tch!!!!!!” Zeke yells. “What, you expected me to fight all clean cut, whilst you Lycan princes extend your claws against a wolfless girl? Shame on you”. Both of them try to regain their composure and get up, still holding their groins. Just as they are about to approach me, we hear an insane growl and a strong voice bellowing across the gardens “STOP RIGHT THERE!”. The King and Queen are running towards us, seething. Oh f*ck, this won’t be good. “WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?” the King bellows towards the 3 of us. Zane – the blabbermouth he is – immediately points the finger to me, of course. “She started fighting and insulting us!”. The Queen glances towards me quickly, before returning to Zane “now you listen up, and you listen real good boy. You know I can tell when you are lying, so don’t ever insult my intelligence and waste my time like that again. Now out with it!”.

To my utmost surprise, one of the warriors speaks up when the douches remain silent. “Your highness, may I speak freely?” “yes, go ahead Tom”. “Thank you my Queen. The princes bumped into the lady from behind and she fell down. Perhaps she thought it was on purpose, because after that the fight started”. Well, I thought he would stick up for me, but the “perhaps she thought it was on purpose” brings me right back to reality. What a d*ck. I chuckle softly, but of course, the Queen overhead and looks in my direction raising an eyebrow for me to start talking. “I am sorry your highness. But the push was on purpose, as I was told I was right where I belonged in the dirt right afterward. I am sorry for fighting your sons though, it is not my place”. I am not really sorry for them of course, but I am for her. She has been nothing but kind to me. But then again, I won’t ever let anyone bully me like that anymore.
