Noticing the assistant’s differing opinion, Isabella raised an eyebrow and regarded her with a curious gaze. “Hmm?”

Under Isabella’s sharp stare, the assistant blushed slightly.

“Orly Company and Timeless Elegance are both so rooted in tradition, and their consumers are mostly Lorpond locals. The models Ailyn has invited might be world-famous, but when they wear our culturally rich clothing, something feels… off. I just don’t understand why Orly Company would agree to this.”

Isabella pondered the assistant’s words for a moment, aware of the delicate balance between tradition and modernity. The clash of worlds—one rooted in deep cultural history, the other driven by international glamour—could prove to be a challenge.

Isabella let out a soft chuckle but said nothing more. The assistant’s concerns were valid, but Isabella could understand Orly’s decision. Ailyn carried with her an international aesthetic—modern, polished, and global. Her past collaborations had been with elite international brands and exclusive niche labels.

By partnering with Orly, she was clearly aiming to elevate the brand’s status, pushing it from a domestic presence to an international one. Using top-tier international models to boost the brand was a savvy move on her part. This ambition perfectly aligned with Lina’s own goal of expanding the brand’s influence, making it impossible for Lina to refuse.

Still, Isabella had no doubts about her uncle’s abilities. She sipped her coffee, patiently listening to the assistant’s grumbles. Orly Company had amassed quite the following this time, no doubt about that. But Isabella knew Timeless Elegance’s ready-to-wear collection would leave a mark.

The two brands had been rivals for years, and this time, it would be fascinating to see which one would ultimately win over the consumers. As the fashion shows drew closer, both Timeless Elegance and Orly Company intensified their promotions, both online and offline.

One was a rising star, dazzling audiences with its annual shows. The other—a reemerging classic—was making its return with quiet confidence and undeniable charm. Both shows boasted collaborations with renowned international designers.

The news had already sent ripples through the fashion industry, lighting up insiders’ curiosity. A few even whispered that something more—something hidden—might be unfolding behind the scenes.

“With both Marcus and Ailyn involved, this is bound to be spectacular. I can’t wait for their shows!”

“Count me in! Are the two brands hosting shows on the same day? It’s practically a face-off.”

“I can confirm it—it’s definitely a face-off. The shows are even at the same venue!”

“What does that even mean? Two runways, one venue, the same audience, and when the music starts, both shows will kick off at the same time! Am I right, or am I right?”

The assistant, phone in hand, buzzed with contagious energy as she scrolled through the promotional photos of both brands. Those around her added their two cents with lively opinions.

“Every year, the shows look the same. But this? This is different—two brands clashing live for the first time.”

“Orly Company has always been accused of imitating Timeless Elegance, and yet they’re still standing strong. Meanwhile, Timeless Elegance hasn’t held a show in years. Do they even have it in them to pull it off this time?”

“I don’t know, but I hope Orly Company outshines them. I adore Ailyn’s design style, and there’s no way I’m missing her show this Sunday. Who’s coming with me?”

As Isabella entered the office building, the faint hum of gossip filtered from the break room, where employees were deep in conversation about the impending clash between Timeless Elegance and Orly Company.

It was clearly their break time, so she made no move to interrupt and had just begun to walk past when her assistant caught sight of her. “Good morning, Miss Patton.”

The assistant’s earlier enthusiasm evaporated into sudden shyness.

The others quickly took notice of Isabella’s presence, and a respectful hush blanketed the room as they offered quiet greetings.

Isabella, calm and unbothered, waved it off with an easy smile. “It’s break time—relax. Carry on.”

With that, she continued on her way, and the collective sigh of relief from the employees was almost audible.

Their boss had once appeared in a promotional video for Timeless Elegance, and although they didn’t know why, they assumed she wouldn’t want to hear them badmouthing it. They braced themselves for a reprimand, but Isabella was gracious.

Feeling slightly embarrassed, the employees quickly dropped the topic.

Meanwhile, over at Orly Company, Lina sat in the CEO’s chair, exuding confidence as she reviewed the triumphant results of their promotional push. Whether it was Ailyn’s bold designs or the flawless lineup of models, everything reinforced Lina’s sense of victory. To leave nothing to chance, she had even commissioned a detailed report from a reputable blogger comparing the public sentiment surrounding Timeless Elegance and Orly Company. The results? Crystal clear—Orly Company held the public’s favor. Lina drummed her fingers on the desk rhythmically, an almost smug expression crossing her face. So what if Timeless Elegance had Marcus? Ailyn’s financial influence was leagues ahead of his.

As far as Lina was concerned, Timeless Elegance might as well start packing up things to move now.

Her pulse quickened with anticipation as she eagerly awaited the event that would decide it all.

Sunday arrived with flawless weather, the sun beaming brightly. Isabella, clad in an elegant cream suit, stood poised by her car outside her parents’ villa, waiting for them to join her. The trio was set to attend the highly anticipated showdown between Timeless Elegance and Orly Company.

The innovative fashion event, coupled with Marcus’s and Ailyn’s undeniable influence in the fashion world, drew great media attention. Tickets had become a rare commodity—almost as sought after as the clothes on the runway.

Securing prime seats with an uninterrupted view, Isabella, Elaine, and Glenn found themselves seated next to Luka, Vienna, and Marcus, who had brought his son along. A few steps away sat Tatiana, Lina, and Ailyn.

As the two groups caught sight of one another, an unspoken tension crackled in the air like an invisible standoff.

The moment Ailyn’s gaze landed on Isabella, her expression visibly shifted. “It’s you?”

Isabella, catching the movement of Ailyn’s lips, raised an amused eyebrow, entirely unfazed by the hostility. Ailyn’s face darkened as she turned sharply to Lina.

“Do you know the woman in white?”

Lina cast a fleeting glance at Isabella before replying coolly, “She’s Luka’s niece. Waylon’s sister.”

“So they’re all related. No wonder they’re all so insufferable.” Ailyn’s frustration soon morphed into steely determination as she shot Lina a sharp look. “Make sure everyone backstage knows there’s no room for error. Not a single mistake.” Especially after discovering Isabella’s identity, she couldn’t afford to tolerate a single flaw.

The grudge from her previous clash with Isabella would finally be avenged today through Timeless Elegance’s inevitable failure. Lina, fully aligned with Ailyn’s goals, nodded.

“Don’t worry, Miss Vettel. Everything has been handled. Orly Company will take the crown this time.”

As Lina spoke, she exchanged a glance with Tatiana. An almost imperceptible flicker of malice danced in their eyes. Backstage, the two brands had effectively divided the area into four distinct sections—one for men and one for women on each side.

With a bit of time to spare before the show began, Isabella decided to pay a quick visit to Waylon, Milly, and the other artists. Informing Elaine and the others, she gracefully made her way toward the backstage area.

In a corner outside the dressing room, Milly was on a video call. On the screen was Howard’s gentle and handsome face, smiling at her.

He still had to go to work that day, so he reassured Milly, “Even though I can’t be there, I’ll be right in front of the live stream when the show starts. Sweetheart, this is your first catwalk appearance. I definitely won’t miss it.”

Howard’s words made Milly’s beautiful face light up. The corners of her lips curved into a sweet smile.

They had been chatting for a while, but Milly didn’t forget the time. Though she wanted to talk to Howard more, she knew she had to end the video call and return to the dressing room. As soon as she turned around, however, her clear eyes were suddenly filled with alertness.

A man had appeared in the hallway outside the dressing room. Milly instinctively sensed that he was up to no good.

Howard immediately noticed the change in Milly’s expression.

He sounded a little worried. “Sweetheart, is something wrong over there?”

Milly quickly covered the microphone to prevent any sound from leaking through. She glanced at Howard, giving him a quick and urgent gesture, before following the man.

Her footsteps were so light that the man didn’t realize anyone was following behind him.

When the man reached the Timeless Elegance dressing room and was about to enter, Milly finally saw his profile clearly.

With her photographic memory, her mind quickly processed the details of the man ahead of her. She had seen him before. He was someone from Orly Company.

After ascending to the pinnacle as an elite assassin, Milly might appear aloof and detached from worldly matters, but she was capable of discerning all the hidden threats lurking in the shadows. The show was about to begin. What was someone from a rival company doing sneaking into Timeless Elegance’s dressing room?

Promoting friendship over competition? That seemed impossible. Milly, known for her swift and decisive actions, preferred eliminating threats before they could even arise.

She quickly appeared behind the man, knocked him out, and dragged him away.

At that moment, Isabella sent a message to Waylon and headed to the women’s dressing room to check on Milly and the other artists. The female artists were already dressed in Timeless Elegance outfits and had finished their makeup.

As soon as Isabella entered the dressing room, they all greeted her with smiles. Their styles looked chic, elegant, noble, and sophisticated. Their makeup harmonized perfectly with their outfits, enhancing their natural beauty to an even more exquisite level.

“Miss Patton, these clothes are stunning.”

“Miss Patton, thank you so much for this opportunity. We’ll definitely do our best on the runway.”

“Miss Patton…”

Everyone spoke in lighthearted tones with smiles on their faces. They were all in high spirits.

Isabella nodded with satisfaction. Her eyes scanned the room, but she couldn’t see Milly. So, she asked, “Where’s Milly?”

One woman replied, “She went out to take a call. She should be back soon.”

Isabella looked at the time on her watch.
