Hearing these words made Luke so angry, he almost fl*pped the glass table in front of him.
He never expected Elodie to be so ruthless.
“How many more people are involved in this matter?” Luke asked as he held back his anger.

She was afraid that if Emma also fell pregnant, Elder Miller would not feel pity on her and impede her return to the Miller household. “In that case, what’s our next step?”
“Let’s arrange for the operation to go ahead and mislead Elodie into believing that Emma’s uterus has been removed.”

“She…she wants to get your uterus removed,” Luke revealed straightforwardly. He understood this was what Eric wanted him to tell her because he had no intention to hide the truth from her – even though the truth was so disgusting.
“Oh…” Emma gave a simple response. It seemed she had either expected the answer or wasn’t surprised by it. “Hubby, what do you plan to do?”
Luke also revealed Eric’s plan to Emma. After hearing the plan, Emma’s exp**ssion turned cold, “When it comes to this woman, I’ve long decided not to show mercy.”
“Plus, my motto has always been, I won’t attack those that don’t attack me first. I’m sure you understand, Luke.”
“I understand.”

She could endure being hurt. But if Elodie wanted to hurt her and Eric’s child, she was seeking her own death.
“What about the Pembroke Family?” Emma asked calmly. Eric looked down and gently stroked her hair, “No one can bully you. If they do…”
