Grace looked at the doll in her hand in shock.
She vaguely remembered Lina celebrating her first day at the law firm, and she had taken a video of her on her

At least now she had a lawyer’s license, so she could go back to doing the job she loved!

“Thank you,” said Grace as she lowered her head and began to eat the noodles quietly.
Kyla Corbyn did not bother her anymore and greeted the other customers. She cleaned up and went on with the restaurant’s chores.
Once Grace finished her noodles, Kyla Corbyn sat down at the table again.
“What happened yesterday? Did something happen to you?” Kyla Corbyn asked with concern.
“Yeah, something happened. I broke up with Jason and have now moved out of Reed Residence,” Grace said calmly.
After one night, she could now speak about it calmly. She thought she could put the relationship behind her.
Kyla Corbyn was shocked when she heard about it. Grace’s calm manner made her feel sorry for her.
She had also experienced dating. How could she not know the pain? If it was true love, how could breaking up be so…peaceful?!
Her current calmness was nothing but the repression of her pain.
