“Please, examine my technical issue?” someone asked eagerly.

“Rosemarie, I’d appreciate your insights on mine as well.”

“Rosemarie, me too.”

Anticipation filled the air as everyone sought wisdom from Rosemarie, knowing that even a minor suggestion from her could significantly bolster their skills.

Isabella observed the imposter’s ostentatious behavior, her lips curling in disdain.

Andrew placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder and whispered, “She’s merely fortunate. Don’t let her words affect you. In my eyes, you surpass her.”

“Of course, I’m better than her,” Isabella stated confidently.

Their exchange caught the ear of a passerby, who looked at them critically. Eyeing Isabella, he scoffed, “Do you genuinely believe you’re on Rosemarie’s level? That’s audaciously bold of you.” His tone was blunt and dismissive.

Seeing Andrew’s face cloud with anger, Isabella quickly grasped his hand and countered, “Oh, really? You don’t even know if she truly is Rosemarie. How can you idolize her so fervently?”

This provoked a murmur among the onlookers. Could Jada alone authenticate this person as Rosemarie?

Doubt crept into Wesley as well. Given Rosemarie’s legendary status, they could not risk being misled. Thus, Wesley proposed, “Rosemarie, would you grace us with a demonstration?”

He hastened to add, “It’s not that we doubt you, Rosemarie. We merely wish to witness your expertise firsthand. It has been quite some time since your last display.”

Rosemarie maintained her silence.

Unacquainted with Rosemarie’s temperament, Jada felt a stir of anxiety. Would Rosemarie react with ire? After a brief pause, Rosemarie finally replied, “Alright.”

Everyone breathed a sigh of relief. Since Rosemarie had agreed, she must be genuine. If she were an imposter, she wouldn’t dare to demonstrate. They followed Rosemarie to the entrance, where a large open space surrounded the villa. Many cars were already parked.

Jada offered her car to Rosemarie and said, “Master, a simple demonstration will suffice.”

Rosemarie gave a faint smile and climbed into the car.

The onlookers cautiously asked Jada, “Do you think your master is upset?”

“Doubting her like this would naturally upset her,” Jada replied, her gaze sharp as she glanced at Isabella. It was Isabella’s skepticism that had seeded doubt about Rosemarie.

Jada added, “Just watch. Master can’t possibly fake this.” Rosemarie started the car, executed a swift spin, and gracefully drifted around a bend. Everyone gasped in amazement as she came to a stop.

Isabella found it amusing. “It’s quite good, but many here could do that, right?” Indeed, that was the case.

Jada retorted, “Isabella, stop causing trouble. Rosemarie is beyond your questioning.”

“Does everyone simply accept she’s Rosemarie just like that?” Isabella challenged. “Can you honestly say that what she did isn’t something any of us could achieve?”

A heavy silence fell.

The display, while impressive, was within the capabilities of many there.

Just as Rosemarie stepped out of the car, she caught the tail end of Isabella’s skepticism. Her demeanor turned stern, and she addressed the crowd coldly. “Given the limited space, you still doubt my skills?”

“Why shouldn’t I doubt when you haven’t shown anything?” Isabella retorted, standing her ground.

Rosemarie’s expression grew icier, and the air thrummed with tension.

Undeterred, Isabella proposed, “I’ll make it harder for you. How about a race? There’s a track.”

The crowd gasped at Isabella’s bold challenge. Jada laughed dismissively. “Isabella, you’re overestimating yourself. Andrew, are you just going to stand by and watch her dig her own grave?”

Andrew, with a tone of conviction, replied, “From what I’ve seen, I believe Isabella might actually surpass Rosemarie.”

Jada was stunned by his response—Andrew was truly blinded by love!

Wesley stepped forward, rallying support. “Rosemarie, race her. Demonstrate your prowess. How dare anyone question you!”

The crowd’s anticipation built.

They were all eager to finally witness Rosemarie’s famed racing skills after so many years.

Rosemarie sneered. “I can race you, but do you even qualify to compete with me?”

“If you’re scared, just admit it,” Isabella shrugged nonchalantly. “The Rosemarie I remember wasn’t a coward.”

Rosemarie gritted her teeth and retorted, “Who says I’m scared? Fine, let’s go.”

The excited spectators followed them to the nearby track.

It was a winding mountain road, presenting a formidable challenge.

Jada cautioned, “This road is treacherous, Isabella. Are you certain? If something happens to you, Rosemarie isn’t to blame.”

“Don’t worry. But remember, if anything happens to her, I’m not responsible either,” Isabella replied, securing her helmet with a click.

Jada rolled her eyes, exasperated.

How could anything possibly happen to Rosemarie? Racing was woven into her very DNA!

The imposter and Isabella slid into their cars, and with a sharp whistle, the sleek race cars surged forward, disappearing from everyone’s view in an instant. Without any monitors, no one could say for sure who was faster, yet they were all convinced that Rosemarie would emerge victorious.

Wesley commented, “The result of this race is a foregone conclusion.”

Jada offered a slight smile, her eyes glimmering with anticipation. “Isabella is far too arrogant.”

She secretly hoped that Rosemarie would put Isabella in her rightful place.

Andrew stood nearby, hands casually tucked into his pockets, observing the distant specks of the racing cars with an air of calm. Jada, her curiosity piqued, asked, “Andrew, who do you think will win?”

Without a moment’s hesitation, he replied, “Isabella.”

Jada’s smile faltered. Andrew’s unwavering faith in Isabella seemed misplaced!

But perhaps it was for the best; this time, he would finally see that Isabella was nothing more than an incompetent and conceited woman.

While they engaged in leisurely chatter, the race on the track unfolded with fierce intensity.

Rosemarie swiftly overtook Isabella, leaving her in the dust. To Rosemarie, Isabella was hardly a worthy opponent; such a woman was simply unfit to be her rival.

Glancing back, she scoffed upon realizing that Isabella’s car was nowhere in sight, a realization that only reinforced her sense of superiority.

However, a blaring horn pierced the air to her left, prompting Rosemarie to turn. To her astonishment, there was Isabella, positioned right alongside her.

Shock coursed through her—how had Isabella managed to catch up? How was this even possible? After all her years of racing, no woman had matched her prowess, save for one exception…

Yes, that one woman, Rosemarie!

She wasn’t Rosemarie herself, but in the absence of the racing icon, she had been riding the coattails of Rosemarie’s name to rake in plenty of cash. Yet today, someone had actually outpaced her. Had she not been putting in enough practice lately?

In that fleeting moment of distraction, the car beside her suddenly vanished from view, forcing her to rush forward in an effort to catch up.

Not far ahead lay a series of curves—a perfect opportunity to overtake. She steadied her nerves, preparing to drive skillfully, but in the next heartbeat, she witnessed a breathtaking display of talent.

If she had been a spectator, she would have cheered for Isabella!

It was a flawless maneuver, executed with such precision that Isabella vanished from her sight in the blink of an eye. Crash! The imposter’s car slammed into the rocks.

Shaking off the shock, she quickly regained her composure and navigated through the curve. Still, her heart raced uncontrollably, as if time had stopped. It dawned on her that Isabella truly possessed extraordinary skill!

She wasn’t even close to being Isabella’s equal! How could such a hidden racing prodigy exist?
