“In the future, Oriana will be my granddaughter, and Crystal will also be my granddaughter. Why would Crystal be hurt by that?”

“Mum, we won’t allow you to recognize Oriana as your granddaughter!” Nora retorted impatiently.

Mrs. Robert smirked, and said.

“It seems you really don’t like how welcoming the Robert family has been to you. And what makes you think that you have say here?”

“Mum, it’s been so many years. I’ve tried my best to do everything in my power to please you. But why I haven’t I been recognized by you? Even Crystal, you haven’t liked her since she was young!” Nora complained bitterly. “Nora, why haven’t I recognized you? Have you forgotten all that you did?”

Now that Mrs. Robert had mentioned the past, Nora’s face turned pale. She had definitely done something wrong. she had cheated!

“It’s true that I cheated. But there was a reason for that. After I got married to Damein, he had always left me alone in the room. He had never touched me, and was always indifferent to me. The flower tattoo didn’t look like regular tattoos, it looked more like it had grown naturally from the woman’s skin. Nora only glanced at it so quickly, but she had never forgotten about it.

At that time, she found the woman’s reaction to be very strange. After the woman ran away, she stood at the door and looked into the room.

She saw Damien lying on the big, saft bed. His clothes were littered on the carpet, and the bed was messy. At first glance, one could decipher that it was as a result of a passionate encounter.

She froze, as she terrifyingly realized that she had drugged Damien just for him to enter the wrong room and sleep with another woman.

Nora didn’t know who the woman was, because the woman never appeared again to find Damien.

Nora knew that the mistake had been made already. She had waited her entire life for that opportunity, and if she missed it, she probably would never be able to get Damien again.

Nora had walked into the room, taken off her clothes, and lay beside him.

When Damien was awake, the first person he saw was her!

Later, Nora became pregnant, and Damien married her because of the child in her womb. Nora went on to give birth to Crystal.

Damien never touched her. So Nora’s daughter, Crystal, was definitely not Damien’s seed.

And was it my fault or Damien’s dut you cheated, which resulted to you being kicked out of the Robert family. And Nora, I hope you don’t think that I can’t see your subtlety. Mrs. Robert’s words fell heavily, causing Nota’s legs to weaken. All her fantasies were shattered before her. She knew that she would never be able to have everything she wanted in life.

“Mom, since you claim to love Crystal and care about her, why then did you recognize Oriana as your granddaughter? What kind of love poison did she give to you? Nora really couldn’t understand what sort of special charm that Oriana possessed. Not only did men fall for her, even her mother in law also found her impressive.

Later on. Nora cheated. Damein left home, and got himself busy with work.

Mrs. Robert wanted him to find another woman, probably a good woman and have another family with. But Damien didn’t care about that. He didn’t like women. To him, it made no difference whom his wife was.

Mrs. Robert was unwilling to give up on the matter. Throughout the years, she had sent people to investigate about Damien’s private life. And the reports were always negative. There really was no woman by his side.

Mrs. Robert walked over and grabbed her phone which was on the table.

“Hello.” She said into the phone.

Soon. Damien’s deep and magnetic voice sounded from the other end.” Hello, mom, happy eightieth birthday.” Mrs. Robert snorted, and replied.

“If you want me to really have a happy birthday, then you have to live up to your expectations. How has it bren going? Have you met anyone out there?”

Each time Damien called, Mrs Robert would bring up the topic. On the other end of the line, Damien said,

“Mom. I have to something to attend to. I’ll call you back later.”

“Damien, I know you don’t like women that much. But if you can, please stay away from Nora and don’t get into bed with her! Mrs. Robert said angrily.

Damien paused for a while and didn’t speak.

Mrs. Robert was already an older lady, and she knew her son very well, so she could immediately hear Damien’s chaotic breathing. She squinted her eyes, and then asked.

“What’s the matter, mum?” He inquired.

“I went to Los Angeles a while ago, I got saved by a beautiful angel. Her name is Oriana Hendrix. I like that girl so much, and I want to recognize her as my granddaughter. So, when are you free to return home? I want to officially adopt her as my granddaughter, and I want you there.”

Mrs. Robert wasn’t the type of woman who went about liking people. She hadn’t liked anyone in the past years. Now that she liked Oriana, Damien could naturally accept her request.

“I’ll finish up my work soon, and return home. As long as you’re happy, then I’m in for it.” Damien responded.
