Oriana was unable to resist Deacon. Her body was trapped by him domineeringly.
Soon, she felt as though she was out of oxygen, and her entire body felt dizzy from the kiss.
Her legs softened, and she was about to slid directly to the ground.
Deacon swiftly wrapped his arms around her waist, preventing her from falling down. He slowly closed his eyes and buried his handsome face in her hair.
“Why are you so sweet?” He muttered in a h oa rse voice.
Oriana hated him so much, she raised her fist and smashed on his chest.
Deacon knew that he had angered her, and she would only hate her more in the future. But he didn’t regret his actions, otherwise how would he had known that she was so sweet?
Deacon tightened his grip and held her tighter in his embrace. He wanted their body to entangle so badly.
“Have you ever kissed a man before? Deacon’s deep voice questioned.
His question made Oriana speechless for a while. How could she tell him that he was the first person that she had kissed!
Deacon regretted asking the question. He couldn’t understand what he was doing, and why he would asked should a humiliating question. He was convinced that she had kissed a lot of men. Derrick Rodriguez, Marvin, and other men that he didn’t know of!
As the thought crossed Deacon’s mind. Deacon’s face darkened. He knew that the thought of her being handled by other men was capable of driving him insane, so he tried to deviate his mind from that.
Deacon was a man who could afford to have any woman of his choice, so why should he waste his time on Oriana?
But Deacon had rushed over to the Academy of Sciences because he knew that Oriana was there, and had come to make trouble again.
He couldn’t help but worry about her, so he had rushed over to see her.
Prior to meeting Oriana. Deacon didn’t think that he would get involved with such a bad girl like Oriana. He liked calm and reserved girls, but Oriana had captured his heart, and he wouldn’t let her go.
“Well, i…” Oriana made to respond to his question, but Deacon quickly interrupted her, “Shut up? I don’t want to listen to what you have to say!”
Oriana couldn’t help but think that there was something wrong with Deacon.
The two security guards who were outside didn’t notice anything unusual, so they had turned and left.
Oriana breathed a sigh of relief. Since she had nothing to worry about anymore, she immediately struggled hard and pushed Deacon away from her.
“Let me go!” She half-yelled.
Deacon was caught off guard, and was pushed back by Oriana. Deacon took two steps backwards, in a bid to stabilize himself.
Oriana swiftly opened the office door, and ran away.
Deacon stared quietly at her disappearing figure, he nodded and clenched his fingers into a fist.
“I’ll get you.” He muttered.
Oriana returned to the Hendrix family.
Her mind was occupied with thoughts about Deacon
Back in her room, slur sighted a sealed letter on the coffee table again.
It had to be the letter she was waiting for!
It had to be a message from Derrick Domino!
Oriana quickly opened the scaled letter. There was only a note inside.
Oriana laid on the bed, as she thought about the content of the note. It seemed like the conference which was to be held the next day was going to be very unfavourable to her.
Was there a possibility of an unexpected change at the conference?
Oriana quickly waved the thought from her mind. She was prepared for anything the Paulos had for her.
Oriana closed her eyes and took a nap. When she opened them again, the morning sun had already seep into her room through her curtains.
After having a shower, Oriana applied a light makeup on her face. The makeup made her face look a little pale. And there were still dark circles on her eyes. Oriana was prepared to step out of the house with her injuries. When Mia saw her, she immediately inquired.
“Oriana, what happened to you? Why are you looking so pale? Why do you have an injury on your forehead?” Did someone bully you? Come on tell me what happened to you!”
Seeing that Mia was nervous and concerned. Oriana winked playfully at her and said, “I’m fine, mum, Mia. I’ll be leaving now for school.”
Oriana waved her hand at Mia, and walked out of the door.
Tom walked over and said to Mia. “Mia, do you think that Oriana is okay? The Academy Of Sciences hasn’t been peaceful in the past two days. Do you think she needs our help?”
“I think Oriana can handle it. She is a very clever child.” Mia replied optimistically.

The press conference was aired on radio, and all the media reporters in Imperial had hurried over.
Nora, Crystal and Alicia were all present.
Nora quickly waved her hand and addressed the public, “Welcome, everyone. Now let’s hand over the microphone to Alicia to narrate her ordeal.
Nora passed the microphone to Alicia.
Alicia who had just suffered a miscarriage the previous day, was looking all pale and weak.
“Hello everyone, I believe that everyone knows me by now. I’m the girl who had accepted an interview to clarify the scandal between me and Mr. Paulo. And I had also revealed the news of my pregnancy. But just yesterday, I had a miscarriage. It was Oriana who had given me an abortion pill. She killed my child!” Alicia sobbed, as she opened her bag and took out the package of abortion pill.
“This is the abortion pill that was found in Oriana’s bag. Oriana was a very good friend of mine, I didn’t know that she was a vicious being. She murdered my child, she’s really vicious!” She paused, ad she cried sadly.
Alicia’s speech aroused the crowd’s anger.
“I never thought that Oriana would be so vicious. I really had misjudged her before!”
“She should be handed over to the police immediately!” The crowd yelled angrily.
Nora watched the audience’s reaction with satisfaction. Someone suddenly asked,
“Director Nora, what about Mr. Paulo, why isn’t he here?”
“My father, Mr. Paulo, has recently been undergoing some medical research, and that is why he doesn’t have time for this scandal.” Nora replied calmly.
Nora’s righteous reply quickly angered the audience the more. Mr. Paulo had been obsessed with medicine throughout his life, and had made outstanding contributions to the progress of medicine. For Oriana to involve their beloved Mr. Paulo, made the audience more annoyed.
Everyone present hated Oriana so much, and they wished for her to seize existing on earth.
Nora, Crystal and Alicia smiled when they saw that they had taken control of the audience.
Suddenly, the door was pushed open and Oriana walked in..
Everyone’s eyes focused on Oriana.
“Oriana, how dare you show your face here, you murderer!”
“Oriana, what are you here for? All the evidence are here, so surrender to arrest!”
“Why does she look ill? Look at the injuries on her forehead, it looks like she was beaten. The audience mumbled amongst themselves.
At first, everyone was upset, and wanted setting Oriana ablaze. If she dared to show herself today it meant that Oriana was ready for whatever was coming her way. But Oriana particularly looked strange today, her face was pale and injured.
Nora froze for a while when she saw Oriana. Oriana looked very calm and weak. Usually, Oriana exuded an aura of confidence and firmness, but today, she looked pale and pitiful.
“Mum, what do you think Oriana is doing?” Crystal asked Nora in a low voice.
Nora scoffed, and she asked in disdain. “Oriana, are you trying to play a trick on us?”
“You planned to frame Alicia, and you went ahead to kill Alicia’s child with an abortion pill. Alicia just returned from the hospital, but you’re appearing weaker than Alicia, because you want to deceive everyone into sympathizing with you. isn’t it? Unfortunately, you have done a lot of evil deeds, and even the evidence against you is conclusive. We will not be deceived by you again! Nora added angrily.
After Nora said this, everyone swiftly understood that Oriana was trying to trick them into pitying her.
“Oriana, stop playing around, okay? We won’t believe you anymore!”
“Oriana, are you sick? Then why not go see a doctor instead of trying to look pitiful here!” The audience had hastily started attacking Oriana again.
