“Why are you going back there?”

“If I don’t go back, how would I watch them perform? I have to go, Marvin.” Oriana waved her hand at Marvin and left.

Marvin stood quietly, as he stared at Oriana’s disappearing figure. He felt like Oriana was a little kite flying in the sky. He could not catch her, because the higher he attempted to, the higher she would fly.

Oriana returned to the radio station. Sure enough there was a lot of noise emanating from her office.

Her radio station office was opened, and a group of people were rummaging through the cabinets in search of whatever they could find. Nora and Crystal were also present.

“What are you looking for? This is my office. You guys are violating my privacy, are y’all aware?” Oriana questioned audibly.

Crystal quickly stepped forward, and responded majestically,

“Oriana, Alicia just suffered a miscarriage. She was given an abortion pill!”

Did Alicia really have a miscarriage?

Oriana stood by the door and stared at Crystal.

“I didn’t expect you guys to be so cruel. You even went ahead and claimed that Alicia had a miscarriage. Next, you’ll claim that you found the abortion pills here. Why are y’all wasting time? Why not bring out the abortion pill ahd convict me?” Oriana replied calmly.

Crystal was all out to frighten Oriana. She was expecting to see Oriana panic, but she didn’t expect Oriana to accurately guess what they were planning.

“I found it! I found the abortion pill! Oriana is indeed the culprit.” One of the staff declared, with a medicine in his hand.

Everyone diverted their gaze and stared at Oriana.

Nora collected the packet of abortion pill from the staff and walked up to Oriana.

“Oriana, the evidence is conclusive now, and you can’t deny it. You framed Alicia just because of your personal vendetta against her. You even went ahead and implicated Mr. Paulo, how pathetic!” Nora exclaimed in disdain. “Since you realized that Alicia was pregnant, you went ahead and gave her an abortion pill, in order to abort the child! How cruel can you be?”

Nora took in a deep breath, and added,

“In order to expose your viciousness and restore the innocence of the innocent, we will hold a press conference tomorrow. While there’s still time, think on how to beg for mercy!”

Once she was done speaking. Nora snorted and walked out of the office.

Crystal wasn’t left out in the drama, as she said to Oriana. “This is the end of the fight for you, just wait and cry!”

Crystal also left. And so did the staff.

Oriana was expressionless. She placed everything that had been turned over in the office back in place, and then she walked out of the door.

The hallway was a mess. Many people gathered to watch the scene.

Alicia had really suffered a miscarriage. Her face was pale and her body was covered in blood.

When Alicia’s saw Oriana, she quickly stretched out her bloodstained finger and pointed at Oriana.

“Give me back my child! This was an innocent life, you murderer!”

Nora led someone to carry Alicia onto a stretcher. Nora held onto Alicia’s hand tenderly and muttered to her, Alicia, give yourself some rest, okay? I’ll take you to the hospital now. Tomorrow, a press conference will be held and Oriana will be exposed, and punished duly.”

Alicia stared at Nora gratefully. “Thank you so much, director,” she expressed her gratitude.

“It’s fine, Alicia. Let’s go to the hospital now.” Nora personally rolled Alicia, and led her to the hospital.

Oriana stood quietly as she watched them. She concluded that their acts was capable of winning them a record, because they were really good at pretending

After Nora left, Oriana’s bright eyes landed on the door of Nora’s office.

Oriana wondered if the key to the forbidden place was in there.

It was a perfect opportunity for her to go in and find the key!

But there were many people watching her. People who were angry at Oriana.

“Alicia just had a miscarriage, yet she’s standing there expressionless and unremorseful. How vicious is her heart?”

“Oriana, you dare to come to our academy and create all these chaus, this girl has no shame!”

“And she even stole academician Armstead, how pathetic!”

“Oriana, you have no heart!”

The students voiced out their displeasure about Oriana.

Suddenly, an egg smashed on Oriana. With a bang, the egg shattered and soiled Oriana’s entire body.

Now that someone had started, everyone followed suit and threw all the eggs and vegetables that they had on Oriana. Oriana was instantly the target of public criticism, and the hate had extended to her being physically assaulted.

But in the next second, a tall body suddenly appeared. Someone blocked her, and protected her behind him.

Oriana who had shut her eyes slowly opened her eyes, and saw Deacon before her.

Today, Deacon was dressed in a black coat. His entire body was cold and handsome.

“Hey! Stop!” He ordered.

“We need Oriana to get out of the academy!” One of the students raised his hands and threw a lettuce on Deacon.

Deacon slowly halted. He stared at the person who had thrown the lettuce, Deacon’s gaze was as though he wanted killing the boy.

“Mr. Armstead, I’m sorry, please. I didn’t mean to! It was a mistake!” The boy quickly threw away the rest of the lettuce in his hands, and ran away.

The onlookers also threw away their eggs and vegetables, then they turned around and ran away.

Once they had completely dispersed. Oriana walked over to Deacon’s front and stared at the lettuce on his head. She found it amusing that she let out a laugh.

Seeing that Oriana was laughing at him, Deacon pursed his lips and said in a low voice,

“What are you laughing at? Help me get the leaf off my head!”

Didn’t he have hands?

He was really an overbearing CEO who liked to order people around.

Oriana stood on her tiptoe to get the leaf off his head, but unfortunately, he was too tall, and her hand couldn’t reach his head at all.

“Lower your head!”

“Why are you so short?” Deacon replied with disdain, then he lowered his head.

The moment Deacon lowered his head, his face got close to Oriana’s face.

Oriana swiftly raised her hand and took off the lettuce from his hair.

“So, why are you here, Mr. Armstead?” she inquired.

Deacon didn’t straightened up, he maintained his position and stared at her beautiful face.

Oriana’s face was beautiful and clean. It was just her forehead that had been injured by the egg that was thrown on her. A piece of her skin was torn, and the blood inside had seeped out.

Deacon took out a scarf from his pocket and pressed it on her bleeding wound.

The thought that Oriana had been surrounded and attacked by multiple people, made a terrifying aura well up in his eyes.

He felt that Oriana deserved to be beaten, but it was only him that should deal with her.

No one else was qualified to touch her!

Oriana winced in pain, and looked at him with pains in her eyes.

“Mr. Armstead, be gentle. You’re deliberately hurting me!” she accused.

“If you like, be mean to me, bully me, bully others, but never be bullied by others.” Deacon replied and massaged her forehead.

Oriana didn’t understand what he meant. She had never bullied him, she wouldn’t dare.

“Mr. Armstead, why are you here? Are here to pick up Crystal?” Oriana changed the subject.

Oriana’s forehead was no longer bleeding. Deacon had subdue the blood.

Deacon took off his handkerchief from her forehead. I came to find you.” he replied indifferently.

“You came to find me?” Oriana pointed at herself.

“Mr. Armstead, it’s not suitable for you to do this. Your fiancee and I are both in the same radio station. You by passed her and came to me?”

Deacon scoffed and asked, “Did you receive my lawyer’s letter?”

Oriana almost forgot about the lawyer’s letter. Her eyes moved down from his face, and she stared at his waist suspiciously,

Deacon’s eyes darkened when he saw what she was doing.

“Oriana, where are you looking at?”
