“Crystal, your grandfather had entrusted you with such an important task. You must work very hard. I have already asked my team to give you a radio station for the evening emotional column.” Nora paused, and then continued,

“Group A radio station was originally the most popular radio station in our station. It has the largest audience base. Moreover, I will have the station run a foreign investment promotion for you. My daughter, Crystal, has become the evening anchor, it must be an instant hit.”

Nora had been in the radio station for so many years. She was quite capable. She had already paved the way for Crystal.

Crystal hugged Nora’s arms and smiled sweetly.

“Mum, you’re the best.” Crystal muttered happily.

Oriana stood quietly as she watched the mother and daughter display their love for each other. Nora hadn’t spared her a glance since she came in. She knew that Nora was giving her a sneak peek of what to expect while at the Academy of Sciences.

Crystal suddenly thought of Oriana. “Mum, this is Oriana Hendrix. She’s the daughter of the Hendrix family that grandma liked!” Crystal emphasized on the last words as though she was reminding Nora of something.

Nora raised her head and looked at Oriana. Her eyes were cold as she glared at Oriana from the crown on her head to the sole of her feet.

“Are you Oriana?” She asked domineeringly.

Oriana nodded, “Yes, I’m Oriana.”

“I didn’t expect academician Bush to send you here. I’ve already asked my staff to free up Radio D for you to do the evening emotional column. Radio D used to be a radio station which we used for our testing. It has been abandoned and has no traffic, and barely any audience. But since you’re scheming, you probably wouldn’t mind starting from scratch, would you?” Nora sneered.

Nora had given Crystal the most popular radio station, but she gave Oriana the abandoned radio station.

A broken smile flashed through Oriana’s face, and she replied,

“Oh, I don’t mind. I’m very glad.”

Nora and Crystal felt that Oriana’s response was more like a mockery to them.

“Director, if there’s nothing else to do, I’ll go ahead to my radio station.” With that, Oriana turned around and left.

Crystal stared at Oriana disappearing figure, and gritted her teeth angrily. She hated Oriana’s calm appearance the most.

“Crystal.” Nora called out to her, “it’s really not a bad idea for Oriana to come here. At least she’ll do everything under our watch. What you should do is to improve and make yourself better. Don’t waste your time on her.”

Crystal finally felt relieved. She knew that Oriana’s issue didn’t have to bother her.

This was the Academy Of Sciences, her territory, why should she be afraid of Oriana?

“I know mum. I’ll go ahead to the radio station.” Crystal waved goodbye to Nora.

Oriana went to the Radio D. The station was deserted. The office was dusty and filled with trash. It Oriana went to the would probably take an entire day to clean it up.

Oriana didn’t complain. She took off her jacket, rolled up her sleeves and started to clean the office.

When she pulled the chair away, she choked and coughed loudly.

“OMG!” Crystal muttered loudly with a smile on her face as she stood by the door.

“Oriana, how long do you intend cleaning here? Well, if you could plead for help, i might consider helping you.” Crystal mocked with a laugh.

Crystal’s radio station was equipped with the most advanced equipment. She had three cleaners, who had cleaned the entire station for her.

Oriana ignored Crystal, and continued with what she was doing.

Crystal was angry that she wasn’t able to p iss Oriana off.

Suddenly, there were sounds of footsteps behind her, and people were approaching her.

Crystal turned around and saw that it was Marvin.

Marvin’s handsome and slender body was forefront. Behind him was his top medical team. These elites had blue cards around their necks and vacuum cleaners or mops in their hands.

Their presence happened to be the most beautiful scenery in the entire Radio building.

“OMG! Academicián Armstead brought his team to our station!”

“Goodness! Academician Armstead brought his own people to help Oriana clean her station!”

“Academician Armstead is such a sweetheart!”

Everyone in the radio building gathered afar, as they admired Marvin.

Marvin led his team into radio D. Oriana raised her head and her eyes widened in surprise.

“Marvin, why are you here?”

“Sister-in-law, stop please, how can you hold something as dirty as a rag in your hands?”

“Sister-in-law, let me wipe the chair. Please have a sit.”

“Sister-in-law, leave it to us, please. Go ahead and have a cup of coffee with our boss.” The medical staffs swiftly retired Oriana from her duty.

Marvin’s medical team consisted of a group of outstanding medical geniuses. They were all very young. They all referred to Marvin as their boss.

Oriana was stunned by the fact that they referred to her as ‘Sister-in-law’. The rag in her hand was. snatched, and she was placed on a chair.

Oriana looked up to Marvin, and whispered,

“What’s going on?”

Marvin took off his suit, and the white shirt he wore was now visible. He looked at Oriana and retorted, “What?”

Marvin leaned closer with a smile on his face. “I’ve already disclosed our relationship, Oriana. I can’t wait to introduce you to everyone around me.”

Oriana paused for a while, then her eyes suddenly met Marvin’s affectionate gaze. “I…”

“You don’t have to say anything.” Marvin interupted her.

“I want to ask you a question. Marvin said, “you’re Sun Light, right?” He asked.

Oriana stared at Marvin and didn’t say anything in response.

Marvin had already obtained the answer he wanted. She was Sun Light! It was her!

Five years ago, he had gone abroad to attend a summit for an academic forum. Due to the virus that broke out, he was unable to return to America.

At that time, she had already isolated the virus, found the cure, and disappeared.

When he returned to North America, he was greeted with the news of her heroic medical research. Marvin pursed his lips, and there was a bit of sadness written on his face.

“Oriana, I could have known you before anyone else, but we missed seeing each other time and time again.”

Oriana was speechless. Fate wasn’t something that could be forced. Sometimes, somethings weren’t meant to be. When she was born, she had first seen Deacon.

“Marvin, I have something I want to ask you.” Oriana initiated. Without awaiting a response from Marvin, she continued,

“Do you know where treasures are hidden here? Or is there any mysterious place where treasures and valuable could be hidden?

“Treasures?” Marvin muttered, as he stared at her.

“Is that why you’re here? Don’t tell me you broke into your enemies’s territory because of a treasure.”

The Academy of Sciences was a dangerous place for Oriana. She was too bold to have broken into the Paulo’s family territory alone.

Oriana nodded, and replied,

“Yes, I’m here in search of a treasure box.”

Marvin pondered for a moment, then he said, ” I’ve never heard of any treasure box in this academy. But I think there’s indeed a mysterious place here.”

Oriana’s eyes lit up, and she nervously inquired, “Where?”

Marvin held Oriana’s hand and led her to the window. He pointed to the backyard of the radio station.

“Have you seen the dark red door?”

Oriana noticed that the dark red door had very similar designs to ancient houses.

“The gate is always locked. It has never been been opened. No one has entered there before. It is out of bound for students in this academy. The last I heard, there were wolves guarding it.”

Oriana’s heart was beating wildly. She had an intuition that the treasure box was in there.

“Marvin, do you know where the key to the door is?”

Since the dark, red door was locked, she needed a key to open it. She wanted to go in!

“Oriana, you can’t go in. They say it’s a forbidden area that has been cursed, and anyone who enters into that door, won’t make it out alive.” Marvin explained.

“Marvin, I don’t want to die, okay? But I also have to find that treasure box.”

Marvin stared into Oriana’s eyes and said, “The key is with Nora.”

The key was with Nora?

Oriana had a feeling that not only did her mother have a master-disciple relationship with Mr. Paulo, but she should also have had an inextricable connection with Mr. Paulo’s daughter, Nora.
