Grace was pissed. She had barely managed to stand on one foot when Olga figured out her plan..

“You can barely move, and think you will get help? Do you think you can even get out the door? If it weren’t for your money, I would have put you in the grave ages ago!”

Grace was still trying, her other foot barely touching the ground, when she heard Olga’s threatening warning.

“Listen up, I’m running out of patience. Tomorrow, you’re getting the folks at Solterra’s Will Depository to change your will in front of me, transferring all your assets to my name. Got it?”

Grace ignored her, finally standing on both feet, about to take a step forward.

Olga reached out, easily pushing her back onto the bed, “You heard me, right? Are you deaf, old lady?”

Olga even grabbed Grace’s ear. Grace was in pain, “Let go.”

But Olga didn’t. She got a kick out of seeing Grace in pain.

With her ear being tugged, the pain from hitting her head on the bed railing returned. She started to gasp for air.

Seeing Grace clutch her chest, Olga sneered, “That trick won’t work on me!”

This old lady could only play dead in front of Demetrius. Not with her, no way!

“Did you hear me?” Olga still held her ear, threatening her.

Grace was in so much pain, she curled up like a shivering rabbit being held by its ear, completely defenseless.

Seeing Grace panting heavily with a flushed face, eyes fixed ahead, Olga realized something was wrong. She let go, and Grace immediately collapsed onto the bed, curling up even more.

“You can’t scare me. I won’t fall for that.”

Grace’s throat felt like it was being strangled by the hand of a demon. She wanted to breathe fresh air, but the oxygen in the room seemed to thin out no matter how hard she tried.

“Don’t you dare try to pin this on me! Even if you plan to kick the bucket, you better put my name on your properties first!”

Seeing Grace struggling on the bed, Olga sensed something was off. Just as she was about to leave, she saw two nurses coming this way.

Scared, Olga quickly closed the door. Grace, on the bed, heard the noise outside and tried to call for help, but she couldn’t make a sound.

She didn’t even have the energy to breathe, let alone call for help!

Finally, as the nurses‘ footsteps grew fainter, she fell into utter despair.

At this time, the nurses would be checking the rooms one by one. It would take a while before they got to her!

After the nurses left, Olga quickly made her exit, afraid of being held accountable.

Left behind in the room was the old lady’s helplessness and loneliness. She tried several times to reach the call bell but failed. She saw the phone Olga had dropped but fell off the bed trying to reach it.

Finally, when the nurses arrived, they found the old lady unconscious on the floor and quickly called a doctor.

But it was too late!

The video ended there, leaving the audience of over 600 in the hall in stunned silence. No one expected Grace to have been treated this way.

Demetrius stared dumbfounded at Olga, “How dare you!”

“Demetrius, let me explain.”

Olga was cut off mid–sentence when an old lady’s black–and–white photo suddenly appeared on the big screen!

She screamed, “Ah! Who did this?”

Yolanda, pinned to the ground and couldn’t move, was even more frightened. Her face turned pale. How did her grandma’s picture get here? And why in black and white? Could it be that her grandma?

All the guests were shocked. Had the old lady passed away? Was her spirit here for Olga?

“Mom??” Demetrius was even more startled by the enormous photo. Could his mother have passed away?

Suddenly, all the lights in the venue went out, the electronic curtains closed, and only the glow from the black–and–white photo on the big screen filled the spacious hall.

Many guests were frightened, goosebumps all over!

They wanted to leave, but the doors slammed shut and couldn’t be opened!

Then, the whole venue descended into chaos, screams, panic, and fear. It was all ears.

What on earth was happening?

Olga was shaking. Could it be that the old lady was really here for her?

No, it’s not possible. Someone must be playing a prank on her!

“The Melton’s engagement party, how could it be without grandma?”

Suddenly, a cold voice came from the crowd.

Demetrius turned towards the source of the voice and saw a familiar figure!

“Mirabella, it’s you! I knew it was all your doing!” Demetrius couldn’t help but express his anger. Today is your sister’s engagement party. Are you cursing your sister or grandma by showing this photo?”

“Shouldn’t we display the remembrance photo when someone passes away?” Mirabella walked step by step onto the stage from the crowd, her cold eyes filled with a hint of mockery.

“So this is Mirabella?”

Many guests came back to their senses. Was this the genius girl spoken of by Grace Melton? The one who provided resources for the Melton family, helped them through difficulties, and made them the richest family in Tranquil City?

She was as beautiful as a fairy!

Compared to Yolanda, they really were worlds apart.

Mirabella’s eyes were slightly red, with a hint of cold, murderous intent, Her entire presence was strong, beautiful, and cool..

“What are you talking about?” Demetrius couldn’t believe it. “What happened to your grandma? If she’s just being resuscitated, we’ll rush over as soon as the banquet/is over! You don’t have to scare us!”

Mirabella’s smile was filled with sarcasm, and she seemed untouchable. “Seeing the photo, shouldn’t you kneel down and sincerely apologize to grandma? After all, you’re the ones who killed her!”

“What did you say? Your grandma is really gone?” Demetrius was shocked, seemingly unable to believe it. He stared at Mirabella for a long time.:

The look in the girl’s eyes was filled with hatred, and it didn’t seem like a joke.

Could the old lady really have passed away?

With that thought, Demetrius seemed to crumble, covering his face, trying not to cry but unable to hold back, pacing back and forth before sobbing loudly after a couple of seconds.

What the hell! How could the old lady pass away just like that?

After her death, her will came into effect, which meant all her wealth went to Mirabella!
