Oriana pondered about it. Back then, her mother and Deacon’s mother had signed this engagement. The entire Armstead family starting from the Old Mrs. Samantha, to Alpha Armstead, and then Lily Midas, they all should know her mother.

Marvin had called to inform that he would be bringing home his fiance tonight. Lily had personally entered the kitchen very early and had began to prepare a sumptuous dinner.

Lily was extremely ecstatic. Her face was covered with a smile. She looked at Alpha in the living room and said to him,

Alpha lowered his eyes and looked at the financial newspaper in his hands, then he replied indifferently,

“She shouldn’t look bad.”

Lily’s face had instantly changed. She walked over and stared at Oriana in perplexity. She was looking forward to the arrival of Joyce Brown’s daughter.

With that, Marvin’s cold black eyes fell on Deacon’s handsome face.

Deacon tall and handsome body stood against the light, and one couldn’t see the expression on his face.
