Margaret was taking care of both children by herself. The two kids were so clever that she could not deal with them at all.
“Adie was really upset after you left. He said he’s going to do experiments behind closed doors like you, and no one could disturb him. He’ll only come out when you get back…”

“What about Abby? Is she angry with me?”

Flossie missed her kids so badly. She could not wait to talk to them.

Margaret loudly called out to Adie and Abby.

Her innocence and cuteness made Flossie smile. Flossie played along and whispered, “Did you behave today? Did you wet your pants?”
