Isabella texted Andrew, “You were right. We’re the talk of the town now. I can help you handle this; Corbett really is a bit annoying.”

At the Klein Group office, Andrew’s assistant stood beside him, ready to update him on the rumors online. However, after reading the comments, Andrew wasn’t upset—in fact, he found them amusing.

Amid the critical remarks, some netizens were struck by how attractive Andrew and Isabella were, and they quickly became fans. “He is so handsome, and she’s so beautiful. It’s a delight just to look at them.”

“What a perfect couple from the world of the wealthy. I really like them. I hope they stay together forever.”

“They must truly be in love, right? I’m so jealous.”

The more Andrew read these comments, the broader his smile became. The assistant, observing this, fell silent. Didn’t his boss realize how undignified he looked now? They needed to address this public opinion issue—why was he still reading these comments?

Just then, Andrew received a message from Isabella. He shifted his attention and texted back, “It’s all good. I’ll handle it. Don’t worry, sweetheart. Besides, there are some nice comments.”

Isabella was puzzled after reading his response. Were there really any good comments? Andrew then forwarded a few of the positive comments to her. Isabella fell silent. What was Andrew thinking? She rubbed her forehead in frustration.

Andrew didn’t take any action regarding the comments online. Meanwhile, the much-anticipated new product launch events were drawing near. People were eager for better technology products.

Isabella received a message from Elaine saying that Howard had been at the company lately. Elaine hoped Isabella could visit him, so she agreed immediately. She visited the Klein Group and saw Andrew.

His striking features were set in a serious expression as he walked out. Nearly everyone around him stared. His distinguished and aloof demeanor made him seem like a king, commanding respect and admiration.

However, the moment he spotted Isabella, his chilly demeanor melted away. He gave a slight smile, and those nearby noticed the change. They followed his gaze to Isabella.

“Is she the future Mrs. Klein?”

“She’s so beautiful.”

“They really are a perfect match.”

Everyone envied their pairing. They were both attractive and from affluent backgrounds, making them the subject of much admiration.

The assistant, hearing the admiring comments, stood a little taller. He frequently accompanied Andrew on visits to see Isabella. Every time he witnessed their interactions, he felt a unique sense of contentment. Ah, it was a kind of happiness not everyone could experience.

“But I think the future Mrs. Klein looks quite young. She must be just over 20. Isn’t our boss quite a bit older than her?” someone said.

Andrew’s warm presence suddenly went cold. The assistant shivered and looked at the crowd, wondering who was so blind. How could anyone say something like that?

But by then, Isabella was already in front of Andrew.

Isabella was caught off guard.

Howard blushed and said, “Oh, sorry, Isabella. I should have mentioned that I’m in a relationship with Milly now.”

“When did it start?”

“Well, remember when we talked about her that day? Milly overheard it and wanted to leave. I found her endearing, and she seemed genuinely kind to me. I didn’t want to see her unhappy, so I agreed to be with her,” Howard explained.

Isabella understood. Howard was always so gentle and considerate, especially towards Milly.

“Well, if you’re happy, that’s what matters,” Isabella said with a smile.

Howard’s face softened, a gentle, happy expression spreading across it as he seemed lost in thought. Curious, Isabella asked, “So, who do you prefer, Milly or Tatiana?”

Howard’s expression darkened at the question. He seemed to recall something unpleasant and replied flatly, “I only felt a sense of obligation towards Tatiana.”

“So you didn’t actually like her, then?”

“Not really,” Howard said flatly. Back then, even though he didn’t have feelings for Tatiana, he knew she would be his wife and was quite tolerant of her.

Just then, Howard’s phone rang.

He answered it, and Tatiana’s voice came through, “Howard, I can’t believe you even blocked my number!”

Howard replied coolly, “So what? Tatiana, don’t call me.”

Howard was known for his gentle nature, so his cold response to Tatiana seemed to suggest he harbored deep resentment toward her. But Tatiana didn’t see it that way.

She believed that Howard’s treatment of her was special. Despite his usual gentleness, he would express his frustration with her. She saw this as a sign of their relationship, believing that Howard would only reveal his true self to her.

“Howard, I have something important to tell you. Can I come over?” Tatiana asked.

Howard replied curtly, “Do what you want.”

“I’m downstairs already,” Tatiana said. “I will just stay here until you see me.”

“Do what you want,” Howard said, clearly annoyed.

Tatiana clenched her teeth and said, “If you refuse to see me, I’ll just come in anyway. With my renown, I’m sure to create a scene, and it’ll disrupt your colleagues’ work. That will be on you.”

Howard was taken aback by her threat, and his face darkened. “Fine, come in,” he said coldly.

Isabella had never seen Howard so indifferent before. She was struck by how much Tatiana could seem to provoke Howard’s disdain.

After the call ended, Isabella glanced at the phone in Howard’s hand and asked, “Is this the new phone you developed? Can I see it?”

“Of course,” Howard said. “We have several phones available for testing among the employees. You can take one.”

Isabella accepted the new phone, noting its weight and sleek silver finish that caught the sunlight beautifully. She appreciated its stylish design immediately. While most people might focus on a phone’s quality and performance, like many women, she was drawn to its appearance.

She turned it on, finding it operated smoothly with no lag. Howard explained, “This phone is quite different from the usual ones. It connects to your electronics via Bluetooth, allowing you to control everything in your house with the phone.”

“Really? That sounds amazing,” Isabella said, impressed. This was a feature not yet available on the market.

Howard’s smile widened as he added, “And there’s—” Isabella wondered what other features the phone might have. Howard took the phone and unfolded it, and the slim device magically expanded into a small tablet computer.

“Surprise!” Isabella exclaimed happily.

It was like getting both a phone and a tablet at the price of only a phone.

“But will the battery last?” she asked, concerned.

“That’s one of the issues we’ve addressed,” Howard said. “The battery lasts about a day and a half on a single charge, and the usage time is displayed on the phone.”

“Wow, I’m impressed by what you’ve shown so far. This product will definitely be a success,” Isabella said confidently.

Then, curious, she asked, “With so many functions, how is it so smooth? Will it slow down over time?”

Howard smiled and replied, “This new product is designed to surprise. It might slow down slightly over time, but it won’t affect its performance. The chip inside is developed by our team.”

Isabella was surprised. She had assumed they were using a foreign chip, given the advanced technology abroad. Typically, to ensure smooth performance, domestic phones used foreign chips, which made them expensive.

“Then, what’s the price of this phone?” Isabella inquired.

She braced herself to hear ten thousand or twenty thousand dollars. Despite the anticipated high price, she believed it would be worthwhile.

Howard replied, “It’s just $1,500.”

Isabella covered her mouth in surprise. “That’s cheap.”

Within minutes, she had been taken aback multiple times. Was this a testament to the prowess of a tech genius? Howard grinned. “Yes, we’ve developed our technology to benefit more people! Our goal is to make the advantages of technology accessible to everyone!”

Isabella felt deeply moved by his statement. She was confident that within the industry, Howard was truly the first to adopt such a philosophy. In contrast, Corbett was only focused on how much profit he could make.

At that moment, Tatiana arrived.

Isabella set the phone aside.

Tatiana looked at Howard, displaying a sorrowful and hurt expression. “Howard, do you despise me so much? You promised to protect me with your life.”
