Filed To Story: The Lingering Kiss of Farewell Novel
She’d stared at him and huffed the man she knew wasn’t going to get up. So she’d decided to play his game, and had folded her arms across her chest, and pretended to think about it for a full minute. There had been many chuckles in that room, and she’d felt Calvin tug at her dress. “Rin my love, put me out of my misery, he murmured.
She’d turned and looked about the ballroom and Wil and Anabell were nearly in stitches. “Should I put the man out of his misery?” she’d asked the crowd, and the crowd had erupted in a resounding yes. She’d looked down at him and smiled. “Yes, Cal, I will marry you.” She’d finally answered his question, and the moment that ring had been on her finger, he’d stood up and kissed her for all to see, and she’d wound her arms around his neck and kissed him back uncaring of the display of affection. The moment his mouth had left hers, she’d murmur “I love you.” It was a loving, fun memory.
Calvin was also out there now. She knew, she had heard him greet many as he’d headed to the marque himself. The time was getting close. He had already come to see her this morning, and gotten into an almost heated argument with Veronica here in the guesthouse about him not seeing the bride before the wedding.
He stated flatly, “I haven’t kissed Rin, good morning,” they’d gone back to calling each other Rin and Cal, and that kiss he was wanting was something he did every day. Not a single day had gone by in the past five months; since their coming back together, had he not kissed her good morning.
She’d been made to stay in the guesthouse last night on Kay’s orders and not in their bed together. Marilyn had had to bite down on the chuckle that was trying to escape her as she watched Calvin and Veronica go head-to-head. They were a lot alike. Anabell had stepped in, in the end and Calvin had been blindfolded before so that Marilyn could walk over to him and let him kiss her. It was clear he wasn’t leaving until he got what he wanted.
He’d kissed the hell out of her, before resting his forehead on hers. “I missed you,” he’d murmured. He always just told her what he was feeling nowadays, wanted her to know and she knew it. Anabell had tugged him away in the end, because he couldn’t fight her about it. She was due to have her baby in nine days.
They were having this wedding at Cliffside; it was their home. The place they were going to live from now on. He’d moved out of the city apartment, and she’d moved from Virginia. The boys had a new school and were currently out there with Calvin, Wil and Malcom, and she hoped calm and settled and not running about like the two little lunatics they were.
She was finally in her dress, and she watched Veronica and Cheryl head on outside. She stood and took a breath in. She’d been a bit concerned about wearing a strapless gown, because it was going to show some of her scars. The make-up artist had stated she could cover them. But Calvin had shaken his head and stated”
They don’t need to be hidden. There is nothing to be ashamed of,” then he’d smiled at her. And so, a few would be seen today. He didn’t care about them at all, often lay in bed with her and traced his fingers along them absently. Or attached his mouth to one of them and murmured “I’m going to kiss every scar.” It was his way of telling her he was going to have her sometimes.
She looked at Anabell, “Are you alright?”
“Yes, I’m not in labor, and I’m going barefoot.” She’d chuckled, “My feet don’t feet in my shoes right now.”
Lisa had smiled and removed her shoes. “We’ll go barefoot together, make it like it’s a planned thing.” Lisa and Anabell got along well, and when Lisa was here, the three of them would often have lunch together.
She heard the music start, and they made their way through the garden out to the marquee, and she saw Calvin look right at her and smile. He was too damned handsome sometimes, and in that tux, he looked perfect to her. She saw his eyes move over the dress, all he knew was that it was strapless. It was a lace A-line dress with a soft sweetheart neckline and a train at the back. She’d opted for no vell at all, just a nice clip to hold her curled hair back from her face. She was wearing the jewellery that Calvin had gifted to her as a wedding present yesterday. She’d found out when opening it that her engagement ring was actually part of the set.
He stepped over to her and took her hand, “You are beautiful, Marilyn.” He told her, and she smiled at him, though he told her that all the time, she never really got tired of hearing it.
“You look devilishly handsome today.” she smiled right back.
They’d stood and looked at each other and said their vows, declared their love for each other before their friends, family and guests and Callum and Vincent had their wedding rings, and had brought them forth to be placed on each other. Smiled up at her and then Calvin, happy for their parents to be getting married, and both she and Calvin had a surprise for them today too.
The words “you may kiss the bride” were stated and Calvin stepped right up to her. A hand curled around her neck, and he kissed her long and deep for all here to see, then looked at her and smiled, and she surprised him by grabbing his suit lapel and yanking his mouth down on to hers to kiss him back all deep and hungrily, and found herself crushed right into him. But he was hers to kiss whenever she felt like it now. However, she felt like it.
It was as they signed their marriage certificate that Wil handed Calvin the two pieces of paper they needed, and as Callum and Vincent came over to be in the picture that was being taken of them, Calvin smiled at the boys.
“Your mother and I have something to share with you,” and both boys looked up at him.
“We’re getting a brother or sister?” they asked.
“No.” Marilyn chuckled and shook her head.
“All in good time boys.” Calvin smiled at them and then winked at her. She knew what he was thinking, they’d made the decision not to try until after the wedding, so nothing would get delayed. He held out the papers to them after checking them, and made sure each one was given to the right boy.
They took them and opened them and then looked from her to Calvin and back to her, and Marilyn smiled. ” You’re both now officially Callum and Vincent Reeves.” She told them and saw them smile up at her.
“Just like you’re now Marilyn Reeves,” they stated together.
“We are all officially the Reeves family, as of today,” Calvin told them, and ruffled both boys’ hair.
The End

New Book: Returned To Make Them Pay
On her wedding anniversary, Alicia is drugged and stumbles into the wrong room—straight into the arms of the powerful Caden Ward, a man rumored never to touch women. Their night of passion shocks even him, especially when he discovers she’s still a virgin after two years of marriage to Joshua Yates.
I must say the writer that wrote This Book did a wonderful detail job of all of the full story from step by step from the beginning to the end I loved every bit of this book I could not put it down thank you thank you very much for sharing your hard work and your thoughts when putting this book together
That was a wonderful story. I stayed up all night to read it, just couldn’t seem to put it down.
I happen to fall upon this book by chance. I haven’t read any of the authors books before but I certainly shall now. This story was not straight forward and had many different avenues the story line could have gone. They both found and forgave each other in the end but what a journey they had. To loose each other and finally make the journey back. I couldn’t put the book down and did read it in one sitting – shameful- but worth it.
Totally enjoyed this book. The author did a great job. Glad I finished it haven’t been able to get anything done til I finished it.
I can’t stop reading of these story, from the 1St chapter until the last chatper was very detailed. Its make me cried, sad, joyful all those character well said story.

Não conseguia parar de ler, e quando precisava parar, ficava pensando nos personagens e destino de cada um.
Valeu a leitura. Obrigada
Excellent!
First time I’ve been so deeply engrossed at reading a novel from beginning to end in 8 years. Absolutely loved the narrative s many twists in this novel. Thankyou so much for pegging my interest in reading again. Look forward to reading many more from this author and others.
Finally, a novel with a proper ending, without reaching chapter 2000.
Espectacular
You’re spot on with this one! I’ve been reading “When His Eyes Opened,” for a year due to my frustration of it refusing to end. However, still a great read. I can start again now that I’ve finished this great book.
I just finished reading this book with over 200 chapters in one sitting without stopping for anything—and it was worth every second! The story had me smiling, crying, and even feeling flustered all at once. What really amazed me was the author’s effort in weaving in all the details about laws; it honestly feels like she’s taking up a degree in law with how accurate and intricate everything was. So far, the story is absolutely captivating and I super love it!
Excellent descriptions of everything. Not so dragged out a story and I loved every minute of it.
Me atrapo la historia es muy buena
Solo que los niños me parecieron muy insensibles con su madre
Loved this book, such a good story line, congratulation to the author.
I can’t recommend it enough, it keeps you engrossed and wanting more.
I love this book, a story even without third party, mistresses etc, it’s still interesting to read.
Definitivamente ME ENCANTÓ.
I really enjoyed the book,I could picture the characters and great story line.
Story was brilliant for the most part… Bit disappointed in her capitulation so fast at the end… Abuse should never be rewarded. He should have had therapy to make sure it never happens again. Ended up being chauvinistic… Men perfect so don’t need to change, women can just fall in line.
Excelente historia, buenisima la trama y la narración…..y lo mas bueno que tiene un final feliz y FINAL….FINAL no con esos que despues llevan a 500 capitulos más. FELICITACIONES a la autora!!!!
I enjoyed the book maybe even cried alittle for both characters.. What got me a little annoyed was she had her memory back and still tortured him…. I know for a fact if my husband even if he devoriced me like a idiot thought I died on a plane he sent me on woukd lose his marbles and if he saw me in the street 8 years later he would lose his mind like anyone would… He was a man in pain even tho he was a fool and a idiot he was still in pain…
But very good book I have spent 11 hours reading it start to finish now bed Time
Amei o livro, ri bastante também fiquei triste com algumas cenas mas foi ótimo do começo ao fim.
