Bryan gritted his teeth as he muttered,
“What did you just say?”
The atmosphere became heated. Sara and Nolan were confused about whether to go to Sophia or not.
“I think I should be with her at this time,” Sara said as she began to walk towards Sophia.
But Nolan grabbed her hand to stop her. “Sara, let Alpha handle this.”
Sara was shocked as she turned to Nolan. “I know Alpha Bryan is our leader, but we are on Alpha Victor’s side in this situation. He is Sophia’s boyfriend.”
Nolan shook his head. “It’s not possible.”
“But why?”
“Please. Don’t argue at this moment. He is not good for her. I don’t know why Sophia can’t see this.”

Victor glared at Mila. “Is this really the reason?”

Bryan froze on her words. In a matter of seconds, his fierce look vanished from his face, as if there was a layer of ice that concealed his feelings completely.
Victor looked impressed by her words. He nodded his head at her.
He then turned around with her to face his pack members.
“I don’t care about Alpha Lucas’s daughter’s wedding. I came here to make my own declaration.”
Everyone looked at him carefully, preparing themselves to hear his announcement.
His gaze darted around the hall before he spoke out loud.
“I, Alpha Victor Laurant, will give you your Luna in one month. She, Sophia Berge, will be the Luna of the Moon Valley Pack. She is an omega and a mateless wolf. I’m sure you don’t have any issues with it. If you do, you know your Alpha can solve any problem by simply moving his hand.”
Sophia was shocked. It was impossible for her to believe what she was hearing.
All the members of the Moon Valley Pack spoke out in unison,”All hail to our head Alpha and our future Luna.”
Sophia looked around at the people. The way they bowed toward them, especially in front of Victor, revealed fear in their eyes. They were obligated to obey his orders and did not dare to challenge his decision.She slowly turned her gaze to Victor, who stared at his pack members with cold eyes.

She clenched her jaw as she glared at him. She did not agree with it. It was clearly visible in her eyes. She wanted to push him, but she realized that someone was behind her, and she did not want him to see that.
So she tried to keep calm and looked away from Victor.
Meanwhile, Bryan’s mother, Juliana, took a step back. Bryan’s father, Alpha Harry, was also shocked. They did not understand why Victor did that.
Mila and her family were equally shocked, as they felt the ground slip beneath their feet.
Mila shifted her attention to Bryan and took a few deep breaths. She did not know if she should be happy that his mate was going away from him.
Meanwhile, Beta Robert stared at his Alpha. He was worried like hell. If Bryan reacted in any way, the Night Shade Pack would be in big trouble.
