Minutes later, we are standing by a stop sign at an intersection not far from our home. A SUV pulls up, and the window rolls down.
“Larry?” Raven questions.
“Who else? Mom can’t drive. He nods his head to the she-wolf in the front.
“I never felt like learning. I thought Cyrus was with you?” Rhonda asks, sounding disappointed.
“He had an emergency. Technically not a lie.
“Get in, get in. I am not going to be responsible for anything happening to you all.” Larry gestures with his head back, and we climb into his vehicle.
“Where to?” Larry asks.
“We need to go to my chic boutique and then to the pack house.” I answer as I buckle in.
“Mom, you said this was an emergency, not a shopping trip. Larry grumbles.
“Anything your Luna asks of you is an emergency,” Raven interjects sternly.
“It is an emergency. There was a she-wolf brought in without anything.”
“That is an emergency. I’ll speed up.”
“So, Raven. I have not seen you since you were naked, attempting to sit on Cyrus’ face in the hallway. Tell me, how was it?” Rhonda asks as Larry curses, and I choke on my spit.

“What?” Rhonda answers, beside herself and having no idea what she is even doing to him.
‘I will rip the throat out of any shifter that touches what is mine, and he feels the same way. So I beg you, Rhonda, do not try.”

“MOM!” Larry turns, yelling at his mother, and she shows him her fang with a little snarl on her face.

“We didn’t have a way to get into town to pick up things for Damon’s mate.”
“So you’re hitchhiking?”
“No, that was Raven. We got a ride from Rhonda.”
