She wanted to come to this place with Bryan. But she could not tell him about it because he was always at work.

“Let’s go,” Adon said to her after coming out of his car.

Together, they made their way inside. Glancing around the white space, she saw the numerous large digital screens mounted on the walls.

The screens were showing off the various packs’ beauty.

A broad grin appeared on her face as she took a careful look around while reading a few details about other packs.

“It’s your first time here, isn’t it?” Adon asked her.

She paused walking, and looked at him. “Yeah.”

He chuckled while shaking his head. There was a momentary pause in his gaze as his eyes landed on something.

Sophia turned her head to the side and observed the direction in which he was looking.

When she saw the largest screen displaying the Night Shade Pack’s details, her face lit up with excitement. She rushed to the screen when Bryan’s name appeared.

“Adon, come here. That’s my Alpha.”

“Your Alpha?” Adon’s voice reached her ears.

She paused for a moment before turning to him.

“I-I mean our pack’s Alpha,” she replied.

His eyes were suspicious, but then they moved away from her and onto another screen.

With a raised eyebrow, he inquired,

“What about that pack?”

When she turned to look at it, her smile froze.

“M-Moon Valley Pack?”

Sophia gazed intently at the screen, which was showing information about the Moon Valley Pack.

“What happened?” Adon’s voice made her avert her gaze away from it.

She shook her head and replied, “Nothing.”

Adon took a step forward and gave her a careful look. “Are you okay?”

She took a deep breath and replied, “I am fine.”

Adon kept his gaze fixed on her. There was a frown on his face as if he were assuming the reason for her expressions.

“Let’s go then. Let’s wander around and look at every pack.”

After saying that, Adon started to walk in a different direction. Before turning to follow Adon, Sophia looked to the spot for the last time where the Moon Valley Pack’s name had caught her attention.

“Are you coming with me or not?” Adon asked when he turned his head at her.

She ignored the screen and went straight to him. She did not want to know anything about that pack.

“Have you heard anything about that pack?” As he moved forward, Adon inquired.

“No.”

“Then why do you look so nervous?”

“No-Nothing.”

Sophia chose not to say anything about it. She moved forward, her eyes darting across other screens.

Sophia had picked up a lot of new knowledge today. A wealthy pack was not the same as a powerful pack. There was a distinction between the two.

While a wealthy pack could destroy any pack business at any time, a strong pack never lost a war, despite taking years to reach a high position in business.

After learning about almost ten packs, Adon asked,

“You wanted to learn about your Alpha, right?”

Sophia chuckled at his question. “I know him really well. Why would I be interested in finding out more about him? I just saw his name at that time, so I said that. That’s it.”

Her response was full of smiles and happiness. She was a happy soul who was in love. Anyone could say that simply by looking at her.

“Got it.”

They made their way in the direction of the detailed information regarding the Night Shade Pack. They raised their eyes as soon as they came to a stop in front of the largest screen.

At the sight of Bryan’s name appearing on the screen in such a stunning manner, Sophia’s lips parted.

“Bryan Morrison,” she mumbled under her breath.

“Hmmm. Bryan Morrison.”

As soon as she heard Adon, she turned to him. She noticed his eyes were fixed on Bryan’s name, as if he were looking at Bryan directly.

She glanced at the screen and saw the display. Everything on the screen started to appear one by one.

Sophia was shocked when she saw the details of the Night Shade Pack.

The Night Shade Pack is a very old pack that was established many centuries ago. At that time, the members of the pack were living in poverty and had a difficult time living their lives to the fullest.

“I can not believe that our pack was once in such a dismal state.’ Sophia thought, then continued to read a little loudly.

“The people of the Night Shade Pack started to obey the Alphas of other packs, who provided them with financial assistance as a form of charity. On the other hand, there was a prophecy that went around the pack, and it stated that one day an Alpha would come to shine their destiny. This prophecy was passed down from generation to generation. Years later, that Alpha appeared as the elder son of Alpha Harry Morrison.”

Sophia paused because she was shocked. Adon was silently listening to her while staring at the screen.

Sophia could not stop herself from starting to read again.

“Alpha Bryan was born to be a powerful Alpha. He has the power and strength to claim any possessions. When he was promoted to the position of head Alpha, he made the pack the wealthiest pack in its history.”

Sophia blushed as she felt proud of her mate. She bit her bottom lip. The fact that this pack had been waiting for him for years amazed her. He was the hope and the salvation of all the pack members.

“Go on,” Adon said, cutting her off in her thoughts.

She began to read once again.

“But Alpha Bryan is a ruthless Alpha. His brutal punishment is not unknown to anyone. He once killed hundreds of wolves alone and demolished a pack all alone in a few hours. He had bloodied his hand many times, too.”

With a frown, Sophia diverted her attention away from the screen. “I don’t want to read more. He is not this ruthless. He always thinks about his people. Why do they write such lies?”

Adon slowly turned his head toward her. “Do you think everything is a lie?”

“No, not everything. Only the ruthless thing is a lie.”

“Okay, then how is he?”

“He is a very nice man who loves his people. He cares about them but doesn’t want them to know about it.”

Adon stared at her without saying anything. Sophia realized that she was talking too much. Whenever it was about Bryan, she could not just control herself.

Adon turned around and began to walk.

“Hey! Where are you going?” Sophia asked, glancing at the watch.

Her eyes widened when she realized it was past eight p.m.

“Oh my God! I have to reach home. “How did time pass so quickly?”

“Last one,” Adon muttered as he approached a screen.

Sophia followed him, only to discover that he had stopped in front of the Moon Valley Pack screen.

She gulped as her gaze shifted to the name. She did not know anything about that pack.

But that pack was connected to Bryan.

The pack belonged to his ex-fiancee, Mila.

She lowered her head, indicating that she had no interest in learning about it. She could only hope that Bryan would be away from that pack.

“Come on. Read it for me,” Adon said to her.
