“Alright, I’ll find an excuse to go to his place and collect the keys for you, he’s away currently.”
“I’m aware.”
She nodded.
“Before you hang up, I want something in return for my moving around him. Something I know he doesn’t like.
“Wil sighed
“He really doesn’t like it.”
“No you don’t.”
she stated
“I’m going to bring the boys to that meeting on Saturday the 20th. I have already made that decision. The twins also want to meet him. So you want nothing from me, and you’ll get nothing else from me.”
“Your security team?”
Wil asked.
“Will, of course, be there,”
she told him.
“A full reminder to Calvin, that I can, and will hire people to keep myself safe from him at all times.”
“Marilyn, that is not at all necessary,”
he muttered.
“Not if you recall him.”
“You say that, Wil, but his obsession isn’t just going to go away now, is it? That takes therapy. Is he willing to go to therapy for me?”
she asked curiously and wondered if she could get Calvin to do that. She could make it a part of the custody agreement she supposed.
“Honestly, I don’t know. You yourself could ask him to I suppose,”
Wil murmured.
“I’ll do just that then, see you on the 20th.”
She smiled to herself.
“Wait, when do you want the keys?”
he asked hurriedly before she hung up.
“At the meeting will do.”
she told him.
“Best not then. If Calvin sees me hand you anything he’ll want to know what it was, and why I’m giving it to you. I’ll courier them out to your home address if that’s alright?”
“It is.”
she smiled happy things were going to be going her way from this moment onwards.
“Marilyn, I’m glad you’re getting your memories back. That must be nice for you to finally know who you once were.”
“Hmm, not all the memories are good, Wil.”
She admitted and her ones from her childhood they were not so good.
“Thank you, Wil. See you soon,”
she stated, and clicked the line closed.
She could start putting all that planning she’d been thinking about into action soon A game of her own, which would involve a little payback for Calvin himself. He thought once she got her memories back she was just going to fall at his feet.
That she was going to be the same happy, smiling, loving, good wife that he’d had the pleasure of being married to for those three years. But it wasn’t going to go according to his plans. No, she was going to show him, that he couldn’t just have everything he wanted, when he wanted. No, that man had treated her terribly in Houston, and in front of all that he knew, all those that she also knew, when she’d been Marrin on his arm. She was also not just going to announce that she was Marrin.
She did, however, want to slap that man right in his stupidly handsome face, push and shove him about, maybe even grab a fist full of his hair if she could find a way to do that. That one could be difficult. Do all the things he’d done to her, to see if he did truly love her, because she couldn’t at this time figure it out for herself.
She still had that weird feeling of him being in love with another wornan, and that she knew had to come from somewhere, maybe something she’d seen, or heard and at this time just didn’t remember.
So until she understood that, there was no making a decision about him at all. She needed to understand where that feeling came from. What she did recall, she’d never had reason to believe or even suspect he’d had a woman on the side. Their contract marriage also stated neither would have an affair and the way they’d had s*x she didn’t think he had. But that feeling, that one memory at the airport told her otherwise.
She could only think that maybe she had to be out at Cliffside, and probably around Calvin at that, to get those memories back, so she had plotted inside her mind as to how to go about achieving all the things she wanted to do. Get a little payback of her own for his unwarranted attitude towards her in Houston.
What was good for the goose, was good for the gander, so to speak. The man who she had once loved, and she now knew she had, even why she’d fallen in love with him. Had grabbed her, shoved her about, made her expose parts of her body to him. All of those things he needed to suffer in return or the same amount of humiliation at least.
She wasn’t about to go and make him fall down a set of sets, but she had to find a way to make him feel as uncomfortable as she had been that day prior to falling down the stairs. That house, Cliffside, had a grand set of stairs coming off the foyer. Maybe she could incorporate that into her plans somehow.
She knew deep down that if she and the boys were out there at Cliffside he’d turn up himself. He’d very likely stop whatever he was doing the moment he saw her on the security app, that she was at the estate or… a smile touched her lips, if the phone was here, but she strolled into that study of his out at Cliffside, that she’d never been allowed into while married to him.
It had motion??ctivated cameras, and would send him an alert, right to his phone, and there it was a devious little plot added to her planning to pay him back. If he thought she was here, but then he saw her out at Cliffside. Or caught a glimpse of her in that study. The man would think she was once again Marrin and had returned home to their house. That would send him right to Cliffside so she could enact her plan.
Calvin

It was her first plane trip and nothing seemed to really work. It came down to them thinking her ears didn’t pop during the trip.
He was honestly glad to step off his own plane and out to the awaiting cars and drivers that were lined up to take them all to the ski resort. While he stood and waited for his luggage, leaned against the open car door, he took the opportunity to text the boys
