William pursed his lips tightly.

Jasper said, “William, how could you say that to Simon? It’s a good thing that Simon wants to learn the piano. You should apologize to Simon.”

A hint of sadness flashed in William’s eyes, but he still said to Simon, “I’m sorry.”

The apology was not something he wanted to say himself, but rather because Jasper wanted him to apologize, so he did.

“Alright, alright, the food is here. Let’s eat first and then we can go play later!” Grace called out.

This restaurant also had a small amusement area with some well-made attractions that children loved, and as a result, it had received many positive reviews online.

Jasper cheered and immediately began to eat, and the other children followed suit.

The dispute between the children seemed to end there.

After finishing their meal, Valda and Grace accompanied the four children to the amusement area to play.

Meanwhile, Brian and Jason were still sitting at the table, sizing each other up.

“It seems like you get along well with Valda,” Jason spoke up.

“Yeah, we do,” Brian replied.

“If I didn’t know any better, seeing you guys with Simon earlier, I would have thought you were a family of three,” Brian said.

“So, what do you want to say?” Brian asked directly.

“I want to ask, when are you going to marry her?” Jason inquired.

“I’ll marry her if she’s willing to marry me,” Brian replied frankly.

“Then I look forward to that day,” Jason hinted.

“Why, are you afraid that I won’t get married and that Grace will keep caring about me?” Brian asked back.

“Yes, I’m afraid Grace will care,” Jason spoke frankly, “I don’t want the person I love to keep thinking about you and feeling guilty because of you.”

“I don’t actually need Grace to feel guilty about me. I’ve actually come to terms with it a long time ago. It’s just that sometimes, falling in love with someone isn’t something you can control. You can’t force yourself to love someone, and you can’t force yourself not to love someone!” Brian sighed.

“So, have you fallen in love with Valda?” Jason asked.

Brian didn’t answer, he just looked over at Valda who was playing with the children.

Did he fall in love with her? But even today, he still couldn’t give a definite answer.

Then his gaze shifted towards Grace, who was standing next to Valda.

That is the person he has loved for so many years and held onto for so many years.

He once thought that after losing Grace, he would never be with another woman again in his life. But who could have imagined that Valda would unexpectedly enter his world like this, and the bond between him and Valda is getting deeper and deeper.

“So if this time, you encounter a situation like last time where Grace and Valda are in the same danger, who would you save?” Jason’s voice rang in Brian’s ear once again.

He suddenly jolted and then looked at the other person with a slightly embarrassed expression on his face, “Do you find it interesting to ask such questions?”

“You don’t have to answer me, but the answer to this question represents who is the most important person in your heart,” said Jason.

“Then, if it were your child and Grace in danger at the same time, who would you save first?” Brian asked in response.

“Grace!” Jason answered without hesitation, “If it’s my answer, then I would choose to save Grace because she is the most important to me. But if Grace chooses for me to save the child, then I will follow her choice, save the child, and be with her.”

It seems to represent everything.

Is Brian looking at Jason, as if they are willing to live and die together?

So what about him? With whom can he share life and death? If one day Valda really faces danger, will he make the same choice as Jason?

The meal came to an end and the children had finished playing. Jasper mentioned that they were going to the zoo tomorrow to see the animals. Simon asked, “Can I come along tomorrow too?”

So in the end, a few people decided to go to the zoo together tomorrow.

In the evening, when George came to pick up Simon, Valda briefly explained tomorrow’s schedule to him.

“Can Simon join us to the zoo tomorrow? Are you available?” Valda asked.

Without waiting for George to speak, Simon said, “I want to go!”

He wants to go to the zoo not just because he wants to go with Jasper and the others, but also because Auntie Grace will talk to him about his mom and he wants to hear more about her.

George looked at his son and they locked eyes for a moment. After a while, George looked away first and said, “I’ll have to trouble you both again tomorrow.”

“It’s okay, I’m actually quite happy to take Simon out today!” said

Valda.

George left with Simon, and Valda murmured, “One wrong step can lead to a series of wrong steps.”

“Why are you suddenly saying this?” Brian asked.

“I just feel like there’s a distance between Simon and George, and George looks so lifeless now. If he hadn’t been suspicious and had believed Amber’s words, they would be happy now,” Valda said.

Instead, they are separated and suffering, and their children are also in pain.

“One wrong step leads to a series of wrong steps?” Brian murmured. He would never let himself end up like George! “Okay, let’s rest early. We have to get up early tomorrow.”

“Okay,” Valda replied.

Meanwhile, in the Barlow House, Jasper was in William’s room, propping his cheek and looking at him strangely. “William, are you unhappy?”

“No,” William answered.

“But why do I feel like you’re not happy?” Jasper muttered.

William pursed his lips. “What would you do if I’m not happy?”

“Of course, it’s to make you happy,” said Jasper naturally.

William bit his small lips with his teeth and remained silent for a moment.

Jasper blinked his eyes and said, “You’re really unhappy, aren’t you? Why is that? Can you tell me?”

She feels very happy today and even met Simon, who wants to learn how to play the piano! However, even though she is so happy, William is not happy.

“Do you… like that Simon?” William asked.

“I like it,” Jasper nodded his little head.

But her response clearly added a few more points to his unhappiness, “Why?”

“He said he wants to learn piano, and I talked to him about many things related to piano, and he listened carefully,” she replied.

“So… if he learns to play the piano well in the future, you will like him more, won’t you?”

She nodded her head slightly, saying that if Simon played the piano very well, she would definitely like him more!

“If he plays better than me, would you like him more?” He spoke with possessiveness and unease in his tone.

This emotion is actually called jealousy!

Jasper was thinking very seriously, while William was anxiously waiting, afraid that she would say the word “yes” out loud.

The piano was his most powerful weapon in making her fall in love with him.

From the very beginning, she fell in love with him because of his piano skills. So now, it seems only natural that she would fall in love with someone else because of their piano skills.

But besides the piano, what else does he have?

What else can he boast about? Does he have good grades or exam scores?

Or perhaps he is now the young master of the Barlow family?

But it seems like she hasn’t really cared about any of these things.

“Even if Simon plays better than William, I still prefer William,” Jasper said.

William felt the tightness in his chest disappear all of a sudden. The small fist that he had tightly clenched by his side due to nervousness also relaxed.

“Really?” he asked.

“Yeah,” she said, “because besides liking the piano that you play, I like many other things too!”

“Other things?” he asked, looking puzzled.

“You play dolls with me, and you always listen to me and are so well-behaved,” she began counting on her fingers, listing all the things she liked about him.

“And most importantly, William, you also like me very much! Of course, I will like you too! We promised to be forever good friends, right?” she said.

He suddenly felt a warm feeling in his heart, and his previous anxiety and fear slowly faded away.

“My favorite is Jasper, always!” he hugged her with all his might, as if she were the only floating wood in his world.

Jasper was stunned for a moment, then giggled and hugged William back, “I will always like William too!”

Two little people hugged each other, giving each other warmth.

However, there were some things he understood too early, while she didn’t understand at all!

In a house outside the Barlow House, people inside were using a high-powered telescope to spy on the

Barlow House.

Due to the Barlow House’s security measures, they couldn’t be too obvious and could only watch from the outside, afraid of being caught.

After a moment, the person put away the telescope and turned to look at the woman sitting in the chair.

“Phoebe, you want me to pretend to be Grace and infiltrate the Barlow family tomorrow. What if it doesn’t work? I’ll be in trouble, but you can escape easily! Why should I believe you that I’ll be safe and get a lot of money in the end?” Whitney glared at

Phoebe.

Phoebe smiled slightly, “I trust your determination to see Valda suffer! We both loved Brian and hated
