Calvin smiled at her now and nodded. “I’ll go and arrange everything; do you need a dress to wear? I could have some brought out here tomorrow for you to choose from.” “No,” she answered him. “I have nice clothes, Mr Reeves; I don’t need nor want your money. I can actually buy my own…

She saw Calvin look over her, and hold a cup out to her. “I made you coffee,” he stated as he came to a halt. “Did you, you don’t even know how I like to have my coffee.” She kind of muttered, and looked right at him as he moved his eyes over her, and…

He didn’t know how it was going to work, how to explain what he’d done and who she really was. People were going to judge not only him and his crazy behaviour once more, something they’d finally let go of. But also her if she accepted him after all he’d done. Even more so if…

“You can’t hide the truth from me, young lady.” Kay chuckled softly. “I’ll not say anything about you remembering everything and playing at not knowing.” “Wh… What do you mean?” she’d kind of stuttered. “Now, now. She was also interacting with his mother without issue, they were chatting about that new house of hers, and sometimes the boys ran off to tell their grandma of the things they were going to get to do up at the lake. They liked having a house up there, and he wondered if she was…

“Did that often?” she asked. “Yep, every holiday he would make Calvin go outside and try to kick a ball around or play football with us. There was a lot of whining.” Kay laughed. “My boy is more of a computer man than a sports man. I couldn’t even tell you if he has a…
