Zachary had a few drinks at that point, but Wilson wasn’t about to let up. He even called over a few ladies of the night, claiming it was a loyalty test for Zachary towards Yolanda.
Zachary was livid, but he kept his cool. He made an excuse to head to the restroom, only to overhear whispers that Yolanda and Wilson had been dated and even kissed!

Yolanda was near tears, “Zachary, let me explain.”
“You want to spin more lies? Claim you were forced? It’s obvious in the video you’re willing! You even seem to enjoy it! Yolanda, how old were you when you were with him? How could you do such a thing?”
“Zachary.”
A sharp slap echoed through the room. Zachary had slapped Yolanda in front of everyone.
Today, over 600 people showed up, mostly friends and relatives of the Panter family. So, they were really just throwing all the Panter family’s dignity out the window. How was Zachary supposed to face people after this?
Mrs. Panter finally snapped out of her daze and angrily shoved Olga. “Is this how the Melton family raised daughter? No sense of shame, utterly disgraceful.”
In the video, Yolanda looked really young. It must have been from a year or two ago.

Olga was totally dumbstruck. Though most of the guests that came today were from the Panter family, there were also some from the Melton family. This engagement party had turned into a circus in front of everyone. She couldn’t bear to lose face like this!
Without thinking, she grabbed hold of Mrs. Panter’s hand and tried to explain nicely, “Mrs. Panter, you know what kind of person Yoli is. She wouldn’t do something like this. She must have been set up!”
Demetrius quickly chimed in, “Yeah, you know how people these days could edit videos. The girl in the video was definitely someone else. Someone must have stirred up trouble and tried to ruin the engagement party. Whoever you are, come out now!”
“Mr. Melton, do you think we’re blind? Can’t you, as parents, recognize your own daughter? Can you really fake a face and voice?” Mr. Panter was so angry that his face turned red. He was ready to punch the hell out of these shameless Meltons!
With all these guests here, he lost all his dignity!
Olga didn’t know how to defuse this awkward situation and called out to Yolanda in desperation, “Yoli, say something, would you?”
Only then did Yolanda snap out of it. Right, she could deny it. After all, the person involved wasn’t here, so she could say whatever she wanted!
So, she started to cry. “I don’t know who made this video or why it was shown during the ring exchange. Who are you? What do you want? Are you trying to ruin my engagement party with Zachary? If you have the guts, come out and face me!”
She looked at Zachary, her face wet with tears, a mix of hurt and defiance. “You are my fiancé, and you all will be my family!”
She was referring to Mr. and Mrs. Panter. As tears streamed down her face, she held back the pain and said, “None of you asked me. One hit me, one misunderstood me, and one insulted my parents! Don’t you think that’s a bit much? Is this how the Panter family raised their children?”
The room fell silent.
Yeah, did the Panter family act too rashly? This was an engagement party!
They hit the bride–to–be in front of everyone.
The bride’s family were the richest people in Tranquil City!
Zachary’s palm stung from the slap. Yeah, he did overreact, hitting her without knowing the full story in front of over 600 people.
Seeing her face turn red and swollen, Zachary remembered the injuries she had sustained in the past couple of days, and his heart ached.
“Are you sure this girl was not you?” Mrs. Panter’s voice was filled with anger. “Do you have any evidence to prove that she’s not you?”
Yolanda felt a pang of pain in her heart as she looked at Mrs. Panter. “And do you have any evidence to prove that the video was real? That the girl in the video was me? That I did those things, and I don’t even know it? Do you know me better than me?”
Both Demetrius and Olga breathed a sigh of relief. Thankfully, Yoli was rational and clever. She could argue her points, clearly and keep things under control.
“I know you don’t like me and even look down on me. Zachary and I love each other, but you don’t accept it. Did you make up this video? Did you plan to ruin this engagement party?”
Yolanda’s words suddenly turned the tables, and all the blame was now on Mr. and Mrs. Panter.
“What the hell are you babbling about? Today is the Panter family’s bash. How could we possibly do something like this? You’re so sharp–tongued. Did you really do this, and now you’re trying to pin it on us?”
“If I really did this, the Melton family wouldn’t end well!” Yolanda retorted angrily, “What about you guys? Do you dare to swear? Can you honestly say that you didn’t fabricate all this bullcrap just to put us, the Melton family, in hot water?”
“You’re out of your mind!”
But all the guests saw Yolanda swear on it, while the parents of the Panter family didn’t dare to do the same. They suddenly felt that maybe this young girl was being framed. If she really did something so revolting, why would she stake her whole family on it?
There must be something going on here that they didn’t know about.
Just then, the big screen began to play page after page of hotel records.
The time, location, room number, and duration were all crystal clear!
There was even footage of Wilson and Yolanda going in and out of the hotel together and them fooling around in various rooms.
