Zachary could do nothing but turn to Mirabella. “Mirabella, I’m sorry for you. I misunderstood you again without knowing clearly in advance. Please forgive me!”

Yolanda was scared stiff, feeling all eyes on her. Her face turned extremely red with embarrassment.
The slap had split Zachary’s lip, drawing blood.
But Mr. Panter wasn’t done with him, and he slapped him repeatedly, “You ignorant fool! I’m going to take this opportunity to teach you a lesson! Remember this, steer clear of Mr. McMillian’s friends! If you dare offend them again, I’ll break your hands!”
Zachary was dizzy from the blows, and he never imagined the handsome man was Mirabella’s boyfriend. He had thought Mirabella was cold to him because he pursued her and then vanished, so she was angry.
He thought she held a grudge because he chose Yolanda, decided to get engaged to her, and thus hurt her.
