“This is my contact. I’m ready to testify anytime.”

“Thank you.” Mirabella smiled faintly, touched by her kindness, and took the paper.

“Well, if there’s nothing else, I’ll go.” The girl really wanted an autograph or a photo but worried about disturbing her, so she had to leave regretfully.

“No photo?” Mirabella asked suddenly.

The girl was taken aback, realizing Mirabella was talking to her. She was so excited she almost jumped up, but quickly covered her mouth, not wanting to draw attention, and nodded enthusiastically.

Her idol had just offered to take a photo with her?

Holy cow!

She was over the moon, it felt so surreal!

Mirabella smiled at the camera, looking both cool and gorgeous.

The girl was grinning ear to ear. After the shot, she quickly said, “Thank you, thank you. Don’t worry, I won’t leak this photo.”

Mirabella took a piece of paper from the desk, tore off a piece, and signed it, Queen Abby.

“This is for you.”

The short–haired girl stood there, realizing that Mirabella had signed for her, and couldn’t help but exclaim, “Gosh!”

This scream attracted a few glances around.

The short–haired girl quickly covered her mouth, but the smile in her eyes had already given her away. She was very happy, held it in for a while, waited for the people around to leave, and then stepped forward, bent over to pick up Mirabella’s autograph with both hands, and kept saying thank you gratefully.

Mirabella glanced at her and kindly said, “when you graduate, you can try applying to QY.”

The short–haired girl was stunned, looking at Mirabella in disbelief. Was her idol inviting her to join QY? But how could her idol know about her design skills? What if the products she designed were not good looking?

“Did you design the clothes and bag you’re wearing?” Mirabella saw at a glance that these designs were very creative.

The short–haired girl was even more surprised. Before she could speak, she heard Mirabella continue, “The pen you were writing with just now, it says Summerfield College of Design. Is it a reward for your good performance at school?”

The short–haired girl didn’t expect her idol to be so attentive, even noticing this. She nodded repeatedly, “Yes, it’s a reward. I’m about to become a senior, and I’ll start intering in half a year. Can I really try for QY?”

She asked with a nervous and excited heart.

“Of course, QY welcomes everyone with talent and dreams.”

“Awesome!!” The short–haired girl was very happy and thanked Mirabella repeatedly, only then reluctantly said goodbye.

Mirabella watched her leave with a faint smile.

After a while, Mirabella planned to return to the company. Before she could get out of the door, someone stepped on her foot and bumped her shoulder.

The girl who stepped on her and bumped into her had a cold expression and was dressed lavishly. Not only did she not apologize, but she also looked at the shoes and clothes that Mirabella was wearing. Seeing no brand logo, she immediately showed a look of disdain.

She said to the long–haired girl next to her, “The clothes at QY don’t look that great. I’ve looked around and there’s not a single piece I think is worth buying.” “Every style here is personally designed by the founder Mirabella. I think they’re beautiful, like this one, take a look.” The long–haired girl picked up a V–neck dress that looked like a little black swan, surely very charming when worn.

Average, I guess.” The rich girl said indifferently.

“Aren’t you going to apologize for stepping on someone?” Mirabella’s voice sounded.

The long–haired girl turned around and saw Mirabella. She thought she had accidentally stepped on her and hurriedly said, “I’m sorry, are you talking to me? There were too many people, I didn’t notice, I’m sorry.”

Mirabella looked at the woman dressed in riches. She was wearing a dark blue sequin tube dress, a light blue blazer on the outside, a peculiarly shaped sapphire necklace, and her brown curls looked elegant and had a strong aura. She looked like a rich heiress, but her manners were so poor.

“Can’t you speak? Do you need your friend to apologize for you?”

Hearing Mirabella’s words, she smiled and politely asked, “Do you know who I am?”

“Of course.” Mirabella smiled faintly, “Someone who steps on others and doesn’t plan to apologize.”

Mirabella’s aura was strong. Even without any brand logo on her, her overall momentum and appearance undoubtedly made her stand out in the crowd.

The woman didn’t want to waste time and smiled arrogantly, “I’m sorry. Is that okay?”

“Hasn’t anyone taught you how to apologize sincerely since you were a kid?”

The woman didn’t expect this girl to be so difficult, she smiled and asked, “Do you know what clothes I’m wearing?”

“You think you can strut around Summerfield just because you’re wearing SK’s latest?”

The woman laughed even more enchantingly, “Since you seem to know your stuff, you should know this new design is from SK’s top designer, Phelps. I’m sure you know how much this outfit costs, something you could never afford in your lifetime,

Her point was clear. She could afford such an expensive outfit, and that made her someone not to be messed with. Mirabella was out of her league.

“I thought you had something meaningful to say.” Mirabella motioned for a store clerk to come over, “Tell her how much it would cost to dry clean my shoes.” The clerk took a closer look and gasped, “My God, these are from QY’s custom series. I’ve seen them once in an internal training, they’re about two hundred thousand dollars a pair. Just the dry–cleaning and maintenance fees are over ten thousand dollars, but dry–cleaned shoes drop in value. These shoes look new, I estimate a loss of twenty thousand dollars.”

Twenty thousand dollars?

The woman’s face darkened.

Her outfit was only worth just over a hundred thousand dollars, she hadn’t expected the girl’s pair of shoes to be more expensive than her entire outfit. And they were custom–made.

Everyone knew that Queen Abby, the founder of QY, didn’t take orders lightly. Those who could get her custom designs were people of status.

Could it be that this girl came from a wealthy family?

But why couldn’t she recognize any brands from her outfit? Could they be custom–made too?

As she thought of this, the woman’s face grew even more sour.

The long–haired girl hadn’t expected to meet someone wealthier than them. She tugged at her friend’s sleeve, “Alma, what do we do?”

“It’s just twenty thousand dollars, I can afford it.” Alma opened her handbag, took out a cheque, wrote the amount, and handed it over haughtily, “Here you go.” Mirabella didn’t take it, instead she turned to the clerk and said, “Donate it.”

The clerk, Alma, and the long–haired girl were all stunned.

“For the donation note, write ‘the presumptuous ignorant missy“.” Without waiting for an apology, Mirabella turned and walked away.

Alma watched her leave, seething. She vowed to find out who she was.

The clerk took the cheque and went off to process it.

“Alma, who was that girl? She seems to come from a well–to–do family.”

“Is there anyone in this country wealthier than us?” Alma lifted her chin, clearly incredulous.

“True, your cousin is the richest man in the country. The Collins family’s status is well–known.” The long–haired girl suddenly remembered something, “Didn’t you say your uncle has a long–lost daughter who has just been found? You still haven’t picked out a dress for tonight’s meeting, better hurry up.”

“Right.” Alma responded before asking another clerk, “Is this all you have in the store?”

“We have a luxury dress section over there, but the prices might be unaffordable for most people.”

The clerk meant no harm, just stating facts, but to Alma, it was a direct insult.

“Are you questioning the Collins family’s ability to afford a dress?”
