“Damn it!” Zack was raging, immediately dialing his father’s number.
Half an hour later.
The movie ended, and Mirabella grabbed Romeo’s hand, saying, “Let’s go check it out”
Mirabella took the initiative to hold his hand?
A smile spread across Romeo’s face. He tightened his grip on her hand and headed to Hall 7 with her.
Carson got to Hall 7 first Seeing his son Zack sitting on the floor with a swollen face, he rushed over, “Zack, my baby, are you okay?”
“Dad, what took you so long!” Upon seeing the dozen or so bodyguards brought by his father, Zack brimmed with confidence, wearing an expression full of arrogance. “Those security guards hit me. It was the guy from Hall 1 who told them to do it. Go in there, and get the guy in row 6, seat 15”
“Heard you’re looking for me?”
As Romeo walked into Hall 7, a few security guards, upon seeing him, finally spoke up. “Mr. McMillian, per your instructions, we’ve been keeping an eye on him. But he initiated the fight. We accidentally hurt him in self–defense.”
Mr. McMillian?
Romeo?
Carson’s legs went weak at the sight of him. He walked up awkwardly, “Mr. McMillian, what brings you here?”
“Didn’t your son tell you?”
Carson vaguely sensed that something was amiss and quickly looked towards his son.
Zack was already scared when the security guards addressed this man as Mr. McMillian. Seeing his father’s fawning demeanor, he broke into a cold sweat. This guy was Mr. McMillian, the Romeo of McMillian Corporation? He was screwed!
Carson saw his son was stunned, knew he couldn’t count on him, and hurriedly apologized to Romeo, “I don’t know what my son did to upset you. My apologies!” “No biggie, just bullying my fiancée in front of me, and even wanting her to be his wife.”

Carson went weak all over.

“Carson, why didn’t I know that the McMillian Corporation and the Porter Group were buddies?”
Hearing this, Carson knew his son had been bragging too much. Buddies? The Porter Group wasn’t even qualified to shine Romeo’s shoes.
Normally, he could tolerate his son’s bragging, but now, he was bragging in front of Romeo.
Carson felt dizzy, his vision blurred, but he forced himself to stand steady, “I’m sorry, Mr. McMillian, it’s all due to my poor parenting. I hope you can forgive us for this mistake.”
He turned around and scolded loudly, “What are you still standing there for? Apologize to Mr. McMillian and his fiancée now!”
He glanced at Mr. McMillian’s fiancée, and his face turned pale. It was her?!

The only person who could make Carson grovel like that, and who had the power to approve Allbara Investment’s projects.

“Ms. Bennett, you’re the benefactor of the Porter group. My son actually dared to offend you.” Carson turned around, grabbed his son’s ear, and brought him to Mirabella, kicking him down onto his knees.
“Tell me, what did you just do to Ms. Bennett?”
Carson seemed very angry, taking a stun baton from a bodyguard and fiercely whipping his son’s back.
Zack lunged forward, almost in a kneeling position, the pain causing his vision to darken.
He didn’t expect his father to hit him so hard. He was really beating the hell out of him.
It took him a while to recover enough to stammer, “It was Candy. She kicked Ms. Bennett’s chair first several times, and I wanted to help her, so I kicked it too.” “Ms. Bennett’s chair is something you can kick whenever you feel like it? If you don’t want your leg, you can cut it off! You not only didn’t stop someone from kicking Ms. Bennett’s chair, but you also indulged her?”
Carson lifted the stun baton again and whipped his son’s back fiercely, “Stupid! Useless!!”
After giving him a beating, he turned his furious gaze to Candy.
