Everyone had already gathered around. They looked at Oriana who was lying on the ground. Her eyes were closed. and her face was pale and lifeless.
Oriana was the star of today’s party. First, she was favoured by Mrs. Robert, and then the two sons of the Armstead family fought for her. But now she laid lifeless on the ground.
Everyone mourned her departure.
Deacon was expressionless. His short hair was dripping welly. The droplets of the cold water kept dripping down his cheeks.
He placed his two hands on Oriana’s chest. He kept pressing Oriana’s chest, and his drooping eyes focused on her face for any possible sign of life.
If Oriana didn’t wake up, he would continue to press her chest forever.
A few minutes later, Oriana still didn’t respond.
Someone stepped forward and couldn’t help but dissuade him, “Mr. Armstead, I think Miss Hendrix is already dead. Stop doing this already. Miss Hendrix won’t wake up anymore. I think we should call the ambulance and take her to the hospital.
Deacon violently pushed the man away. He stared at the man fiercely and declared, “She’s not dead! She’s not going to die!*
Everyone was frightened by Deacon’s reaction. They couldn’t help but keep quiet and allow Deacon mourn Oriana the way he wanted.
Deacon didn’t give up. He reached out and squeezed open Oriana’s mouth, then he covered her lips with his, and began giving her an artificial respiration.
“Oriana, hurry up and open your eyes. In the past, you had refused to kiss me. What’s wrong now? Can’t you see that I’m kissing you and you’re doing absolutely nothing?” Deacon opened her mouth and kissed her deeply. Her mouth was as sweet as honey, and it left him addicted.
Deacon kissed her fiercely and continued to perform the artificial resuscitation.
“Oriana, stop pretending, will you? You just want to play tricks again, right? You just want to cause trouble, isn’t it?”
“You’re always acting fierce before me, but now you’re like a weakling before others. The last time you were kidnapped by some men, and now you’re drowning. I don’t mind where you run to. I’ll always protect up!”
“Oriana, wake up already. Don’t try to escape me by dying! If you really die, then I’ll build an ice cellar and hide your in a crystal coffin. And you’ll still be mine even in death!”
Everyone was horrified. They all knew that Deacon had fallen in love with Oriana, but they didn’t know that it was this extreme.
Oriana had a long dream. She had lost her way in the heavy snow. She was alone, and her body was freezing.
Soon, her limbs froze and she slowly lost consciousness. She really wanted to drift to sleep.
Her eyelids were heavy, and she was really about to fall asleep.
But at this time, someone was talking non-stop in her ear. She couldn’t decipher what the person was saying, and it felt as if it was noise.
It was so noisy that she couldn’t fall asleep.
Deacon continued to perform CPR. When everyone shook their head sadly, Oriana suddenly throw up and woke up.
Everyone’s eyes widened as they gasped in astonishment.
“Oriana was actually saved by CTO Armstead!”
“Oriana is alive!”
Deacon’s movement stopped abruptly. He looked at Oriana as she spat out all the water that she had swallowed. She was really awake, and alive!
Deacon’s cold face quickly expressed warmth. He nodded satisfactorily. He knew that she wouldn’t die like that! Oriana’s body was very cold. She had been soaked in the cold water for so long. Now that she had spat out all the water, her entire body was shivering
Deacon wanted to take off his suit and wear it on her, but his clothes were also wet. Deacon quickly stood up and went to get a dry coat.
Everyone wondered where Deacon went
At this moment, some people rushed down from the second floor. They were Mrs. Robert and Marvin. Behind them was Nora and Crystal.
Someone had informed Mrs. Robert that Oriana had fallen into the pool, and Deacon had rescued her.
Marvin ran over swiftly and saw Oriana lying on the ground.
“Oriana! Oriana!” He called out nervously. Marvin was a doctor, so he checked Oriana’s pulse.
Marvin quickly took off his suit and wore it on Oriana’s shoulders.
“Oriana, can you hear me?” He questioned.
Oriana shuddered and opened her eyes weakly.
She could hear someone talking to her.
Oriana raised her pale face and quickly saw Marvin.
“Marvin?” She questioned weakly.
“Yes, it’s me. Don’t say anything, okay? I’ll take you to the hospital now.” Marvin carried up Oriana and took her away. Oriana was still very weak. And surprisingly, the key was still in her hand.
Oriana felt relived that the key was still in her hand. She gently closed her eyes, and placed her face on Marvin’s chest. A warm current flowed in Oriana’s heart as she thought that it was Marvin who had saved her.
Mrs. Robert arrived the pool side after Marvin had taken Oriana away. She had tried to hurry, but due to old age, her pace was very slow.
“What happened to my Oriana?!” She hastily inquired.
“Mrs. Robert, Miss Hendrix fell into the pool. If president Armstead hadn’t arrived in time, Miss Hendrix would have lost her life.” One of the guests narrated to the old lady.
Mrs. Robert’s expression instantly changed.” How could such an accident happen to Oriana in our family home? I suspect that someone purposely pushed her into pool. Let me call all the ser vants over. I’ll personally interrogate them one by one!”
Mrs. Robert had been in charge of the Robert family for so many years. Her words were so powerful that everyone obeyed.
Could it be that someone deliberately pushed Oriana into the pool?
Then the person was way too courageous, she dared to do such a thing right under the nose of Mrs. Robert!
Nora froze. She watched Marvin leave with Oriana in her arms. Oriana was unexpectedly unharmed and alive.
Nora secretly clenched her fist. That was a perfect opportunity for her to eliminate Oriana. She had engaged Marvin in a conversation and had a maid push Oriana into the water. Oriana could have died quietly!
Nora glared at Oriana in Marvin’s arms. At this moment, she suddenly saw something through the black coat that Oriana was wearing. It was a red flower tattoo.
Nora suddenly felt her breathe seize.
The long dress that Oriana wore had slipped down a linte, revealing the flower tattoo on her shoulder.
Nora was no stranger to this flower because she had seen it twenty years ago.

Nora’s legs softened and she almost collapsed on the ground. Crystal quickly supported Nora and reminded in a low voice.
“Mum, grandma is watching you!”
Nora looked up and instantly met Mrs. Robert’s sharp gaze.
Mrs. Robert stared at her coldly, as if she had seen through all of her plans,
Nora felt restless. She quickly realized that she hadn’t been able to kill Oriana, but had also gotten herself into trouble.
Nora managed to maintain her composure.
At this moment, Crystal saw Deacon and called out to him in surprise.
Deacon returned with a black blanket in his hands. His clothes were still wet and dripping with water. However, he didn’t care about himself. He stood quietly as he watched Oriana in Marvin’s armns.
“Deacon, why are you wet? Quickly go upstairs to my room and have a warm shower. Then change into new clothes to avoid catching a cold.” Crystal said to him with concern.
Deacon watched Marvin and Oriana until they disappeared from his sight.

It’s really disappointing and heartbreaking to continuously watched Marvin and Oriana physical closeness and intimacy 🤢🤮☹️ it’s too much to digest , it’s only right to Deacon to be with Oriana and do such intimacy.
