Derrick Domino’s clear and smooth voice slowly passed from the other end.

“She’s not an ordinary girl. You have to he very careful with her in the future. Come back when things are settled.”

The Paulo family immediately issued a lawyer letters stating that the Academy Of Sciences had dismissed Alicia from the school.

The Paulo family’s public relations team was quite strong. They had suppressed the previous news with the news of Alicia’s expulsion.

However, the news about Alicia and Mr. Paulo made up the front page of the evening newspaper.

Now that everyone heard the story, they doubted if Mr. Paulo hadn’t had something to do with Alicia. And his position as the president of the Academy Of Sciences was also questioned.

As Oriana sat and pondered on how to go about retrieving the key from Nora, her phone rang out and it was a call from Mrs. Robert.

Oriana swiped the phone screen, and answered the call.

“Hello, Mrs. Robert.” Oriana muttered into the phone.

“Oriana, dear!” Old Mrs. Robert’s loving voice quickly passed over.

“It’ll be my birthday in two days, Oriana. The Robert’s family will throw me a birthday party, so you’re invited.” Oriana’s eyes lit up. She was worried about how she would enter into the Robert’s home to find the key. But now, the opportunity presented itself.

Although she wanted taking advantage of Mrs. Robert’s Invite to find the key, she also wanted celebrating the old lady’s birthday with her.

“Mrs. Robert, I wish you a happy birthday in advance. Since you’ve invited me, I’ll definitely attend your birthday party.”

Mrs. Robert was overjoyed by Oriana’s response.

“That’s so great, Oriana. I knew you’d attend. I’ve already asked someone to bring you a dinner gown, let nie know if you don’t like it.”

“Thank you very much, Mrs. Robert. I really do appreciate.” Oriana said into the phone, with her gaze on the box in Mia’s hands.

“Mum. Mia, please keep it on my table, I’ll check and see what’s inside soon.” Oriana said respectfully to Mia.

“You’re welcome, my dear. I have to go now. Looking forward to seeing you.’ Mrs. Robert added and ended the call. Once the call was disconnected, Oriana stood up and walked to the table where Mia had kept the box, then she unwrapped the box.

In the box was a starry blue dress with a suspender style. The simple dress was filled with diamond designs. The beauty of the dress was suffocating.

Mia exclaimed, “My gosh! This dress is so beautiful. Oriana, this dress is exactly your size!”

Oriana was also amazed at the beauty of the dress. It would take a long time to customize a dress like this. Could it be that Mrs. Robert had sewn the dress weeks ahead?

Oriana felt even more guilty. How could she repay Mrs. Robert’s love?

Oriana went to the radio station, and saw Crystal from a distance. A group of girls surrounded Crystal. They were chatting and staring at Crystal with excitement and envy.

“Crystal, it’s your grandma’s eightieth birthday party in two days. As the princess of the Robert family, your dress must be very beautiful, right?”

Crystal swept away the gloom of the previous days, and a proud smile appeared on her face.

“Well, just so y’all know, my grandma invited the royal embroiderer to customize a dinner dress for me!” Crystal responded proudly.

“A royal embroiderer? Wow!” The girls gasped in surprise.

“Well, my grandma didn’t tell me about the dress. But I found it in her room by accident. My grandma probably wants to give it to me as a surprise. My grandma loves me so much!” Crystal added.

Mrs. Robert’s eightieth birthday was a big event which the entire city looked forward to. As the little princess of the Robert family, Crystal naturally ought to have the spotlight. In the past, her gowns for parties were also custom made. So when she found the dress in her grandma’s room, she knew that it belonged to her,

Crystal instantly looked up and sighted Oriana who had already walked over.

“Oriana, will you be attending my grandma’s eightieth birthday?” Crystal asked proudly.

Crystal was looking forward to her grandina’s birthday. Not long ago, her grandma had attended Tom Hendrix’s birthday party just to save Oriana from humiliation. And now, Crystal wanted everyone to see who the princess really was!

Oriana stared at Crystal’s excited face, she knew that Crystal was up to something dubious again.

“Yes, I’ll be there on Mrs. Robert’s birthday Oriana replied calmly.

A tall and handsome figure had suddenly walked over. It was Marvin.

Once he arrived at where Oriana was, he threw his arms around Oriana’s shoulder. His cold, black eyes stared at Crystal lightly.

“On Mrs. Robert’s birthday, I’ll go with Oriana to celebrate with Mrs. Robert. Oriana is my girlfriend.” He reminded.

Each time Crystal saw Marvin protecting Oriana like a baby, she felt very upset.

Crystal quickly wore a smile and pretended to be happy with Marvin’s presence.

“Marvin, you’re welcome then.” Crystal responded. She felt it was of no use for her to say much.

“Let’s go.” Crystal muttered and walked away. The girls swiftly followed after her.

“Oriana, you don’t mind going to the birthday party as my girlfriend, right?” Marvin asked tenderly.

Oriana smiled and replied, “Of course I don’t mind.”

“Alright then. I’ll pick you up tomorrow, Marvin added with a smile.

Crystal returned to radio A. She took out her phone and wanted calling Deacon.

Since the last time they met at the andrology department, she hadn’t taken the initiative to contact him. What she didn’t expect was Deacon not also contacting her. He didn’t even send her a text to check up on her.

Crystal felt sad. She couldn’t understand what would have gone wrong with his body. And that being a man’s most fatal flaw, she felt indecisive about proceeding with the marriage.

Crystal wondered if Deacon wasn’t afraid that she would call off the marriage. But after thinking about it, she realized that Deacon was definitely not afraid, otherwise he wouldn’t have stayed that long without contacting her.

Although Crystal felt angry and conflicted, she still liked Deacon’s coldness and arrogance. A man like Deacon was very attractive. Crystal wanted conquering him, because that would give her a sense of accomplishment.

Crystal finally dailed Deacon’s phone number.

Soon, the phone rang once and was answered.

“Hello.” Deacon’s deep and magnetic voice filled her ears.

Immediately Crystal heard Deacon’s voice, she felt her ears go numb.

“Deacon, it’s me. My grandma’s birthday is in two days. Will you be free on that day?”

“I’m not chanced.” Deacon replied without hesitation.

Crystal’s face turned pale when she heard his response.

The grievances that she had accumulated in her heart over the last few days overflowed, and she asked,

“Deacon, why are you so impatient with me? What did I do wrong? Why are you doing this to me? You’re my fiancee, If you don’t attend my grandma’s birthday party, what will people think? Everyone will suggest that our relationship is over.” Crystal paused as she wiped the tears that flowed from her eyes.

“Just look at your brother, Marvin, he already agreed to attend the party with Oriana. And they’re also not married yet. Isn’t it unfair that you treat me this way?”

“I’ll attend the party.” Deacon suddenly interrupted her with a positive answer.

Crystal was speechless. He actually agreed?

It seemed like her acting as a spoilt child actually did the magic. Crystal quickly smiled and continued,

“Deacon, I knew that you loved me…”
