Oriana walked up to the stage. She looked weak, and even her beautiful voice revealed a bit of tenderness, “No, you all misunderstood. I’m not here to argue. I’m not here to defend myself. I understand all of your grievances.”

What? Did Oriana just plead guilty?

The noisy press conference swiftly became quiet as everyone stared at Oriana in disbelief.

Nora, Crystal and Alicia were also shocked as well.

Oriana turned around and stared softly at Alicia.” Alicia, you said that I gave you an abortion pill which killed your child, it’s okay. I already confessed everything to you, but it’s okay. Whatever you say, just let me go, okay?” Oriana said softly.

Oriana’s last sentence revealed a lot of information. The media reporters were best at this. They quickly whispered. amongst themselves about the possibility of Oriana being threatened.

Nora’s expression changed. She didn’t expect that Oriana would find a way to easily reverse the situation. She quickly reprimanded, “Oriana, what are you talking about?”

Nora’s voice was loud, and Oriana’s entire body trembled with fright. Her clear eyes looked at Nora pitifully, and then she said.

“Director Nora, could it be that I’m saying something wrong? I’m already confessing that I’m guilty, you can tell me if I’m not saying it right, and I’ll say whatever you want me to.”

Oriana’s words directly confirmed that Oriana was being threatened, and that Nora had asked her to confess to killing Alicia’s chuld.

The audience gasped, as the reporters focused their camera on Nora’s face.

Nora was so furious that she couldn’t stand Oriana. She had seen Oriana’s eloquence time and time again.

Nora moved closer to Oriana, and said, “Oriana, we’ve made it clear…”

Before Nora could reach Oriana, Oriana let out a scream,” Please don’t hurt me, I’m sorry, please. Okay, I admit, I was wrong.”

Oriana’s body trembled frightenedly. But Nora claimed that she was innocent, and really did nothing to Oriana.

The restless media reporters had swiftly handed over their microphones to Nora.

“Director Nora, did you by any chance threaten Oriana?”

“Director Nora, what method did you use to scare Oriana into this? Could it be that everything Alicia said was false?”

The besieged Nora was so angry that she clenched her fingers into a fist. She stared provocatively at Oriana who had hid behind a staff member.

Crystal and Alicia were also stunned. Today was meant for Oriana’s reputation to be ruined.

Crystal knew that she needed to do something, so turned and winked at Alicia relentlessly.

Alicia immediately stood up and said. “Oriana, now that the evidence has been gotten, stop playing around. You framed me when I did nothing wrong to you. My boyfriend and I were planning on getting married. Now that my child is gone. I don’t want to live anymore.”

Alicia tried to use her child to draw back the audience’s attention.

Crystal quickly shouted. “No! Alicia wants to kill herself by hitting the wall!”

Everyone’s gaze were instantly diverted to Alicia. The people who are close to her, quickly rushed forward and tried to stop her.

Suddenly, the door of the press conference room was pushed open again, and someone walked in.

“Who are you?” Someone asked from the crowd.

Tm Alicia’s boyfriend, and the biological father of the child in her womb. My name is Ethan Liam!”

Oriana stood up, and her clear eyes fell on Ethan. Was he arranged by Derrick Domino?

Ethan looked at Alicia, and asked, “Alicia, why don’t you go ahead and hit yourself against the wall? You can’t even act properly in this self-directed and self-acted drama of yours.”

Everyone’s gaze diverted back to Alicia. Some seconds ago, Alicia was about to die, but now she had restrained herself without anyone telling her to.

Alicia stared at Ethan in shock. He had no role in this where did he come from?

The media reporters swiftly sensed that something didn’t add up, they rushed to Ethan and questioned desperately.

“Ethan Liam, what’s going on? Do you mind informing us?”

Ethan’s sudden appearance made Nora and Crystal stunned. They knew that Ethan’s presence was definitely not a good thing.

Nora quickly said. “Ethan, you’re here in time. Alicia’s child is gone, and the culprit is Oriana!”

Alicia received the hint and immediately ran to Ethan, and pulled his right arm.

“Ethan, I had a miscarriage. My stomach hurts so bad, please take me out of here.”

Ethan stared at her coldly and pushed her away.

“Alicia. how did you lose the child again?” Ethan questioned, and Alicia stiffened. He really shouldn’t be aware of all that transpired.

The reporters continued bombarding Ethan with multiple questions.

“Ethan. Alicia claims that her child was killed by Oriana through an abortion pill. Are you aware of this?”

Ethan sneered and replied. “She’s right that the child was killed by an abortion pill, but the abortion pill wasn’t administered to her by Oriana, she had taken the pill by herself.”

The entire audience gasped in shock.

It was a notable believe that a tiger would not eat its offspring. How could Alicia had killed her own child? Alicia’s face instantly turned pale, and she immediately denied it.” Ethan, what nonsense are you talking about? This is my child that we’re talking about, why would i kill him?”

“Alicia, what do you think this is?” Ethan shoved a picture on his phone to her face.

“This is a picture of you going to the hospital to buy an abortion pill. It was taken on the spot. If you don’t admit it. I’ll have the doctor come over here!” Ethan threatened.

Alicia stared at the photos, and her entire body trembled. How could it be? How did Ethan know all this?

It was true that she had personally bought the abortion pill from a doctor. She was bent on ruining Oriana’s reputation that she didn’t remember to disguise before going into the hospital. She didn’t think that she would be exposed this way.

How did Ethan get to know about her plans? He even had evidence!

The evidence were overwhelming, how could she justify it?

The reporters were excited that they had captured the best news in the entire city. They swiftly focused their camera on Alicia’s face, capturing every single reaction of hers.

“Alicia, it turns out that you killed your own child. How cruel can you be?”

“Alicia, what’s going on between you and Mr. Paulo, did you really like him?” One of the media reporters questioned.

The questions flowed in rapidly. Alicia knew that she was done for. She felt her legs weakened, as she fell to the ground.

Ethan looked at Alicia, and snorted coldly. “What’s going on between her and Mr. Paulo? Can you guys take a good look at my face?”

Everyone quickly stared at Ethan’s face. They instantly realized that Ethan’s face looked very similar to that of Mr. Paulo when he was young!

Ethan continued, “Can you guys see that I look very similar to Mr. Paulo? Actually, I went for a plastic surgery! 1 loved Alicia so much that when we were closer to each other, she requested for something. She had asked me to get a plastic surgery on my face. She gave me two pictures of Mr. Paulo, one was when he was young, and the other was when he was old, she had asked me to change my face to his!”

Ethan paused, as his eyes exuded pains. “Alicia, I loved you so much and I had gotten a plastic surgery just to please you. It’s fine if you despised me, but you shouldn’t have killed our child! I’m done with you!” He added sadly.

The audience were in total disbelieve. It turned out that Alicia really liked Mr. Paulo, and her obsession with him had even driven her to wanting her boyfriend to look just like the man.

Director Nora, are you just knowing the truth? Or did you conspire with Alicia to frame Oriana?”

Crystal, we all know that you are in a competitive relationship with Oriana. Today. Oriana was sick and injured. Did rou guys do something to her? The Academy Of Sciences and the radio station are both under the Paulo family, ould there be any chance that you two are working together to suppress and persecute Oriana?”

Nora and Crystal felt their body go numb. Originally, Oriana had disrupted their plans. They didn’t expect that Alicia’s boyfriend, Ethan, would suddenly surface.

Since Alicia had collapsed, the focus was now on Nora and Crystal.

The media conference was a total loss to the Paulos.

Nora knew that Alicia was a worthless pawn. All she needed to do was try and minimize the damage that the Paulo amily would face.

Nora reprimanded Alicia sharply, “Alicia, I didn’t expect you to do this. We were all deceived by you!”
