Chapter 100 – A Little Princess’s Journey from Darkness to Light Novel

Filed to story: A Little Princess's Journey from Darkness to Light Novel

As Pablo expected, Michael remained on Rebecca’s shoulder, looking at Lilly with a complicated expression.

“Don’t treat me like a kid.”

Lilly innocently put down the jar of souls and said, “Okay, I’m sorry!”

Michael’s words got stuck in his throat.

Lilly asked again, “How did you die?”

Lilly blinked earnestly. She didn’t treat him as a ghost and didn’t look down on him in any way. Michael remained silent for a while.

“Someone beat me to death.”

Just as Pablo thought Michael wouldn’t say anything, he didn’t expect Michael to start telling his story.

“When I was fourteen, my parents and I moved, and I transferred to a new junior high school…”

That junior high school wasn’t good, and it was very chaotic.

Michael was always quiet. He didn’t like to talk or play with his classmates.

Over time, the male classmates began to exclude him and started bullying him.

“At first, they teased and pushed me in the hallways. They threw my textbooks out the window and put dead frogs, bugs, and snakes in my desk drawer. They wanted to see if I would scream like a girl. Then, they started hitting me.”

Lilly asked, “Why didn’t you tell the teacher?”

Michael laughed bitterly. “The teacher said they must have a reason to bully me, otherwise, they wouldn’t only bully me and not others.”

Lilly was stunned. It turned out that there were bad teachers, just like Ms. Watson. Not all teachers were good.

“But you could have told your parents!” Lilly was anxious. His classmates had bullied him so many times. She wondered why Michael didn’t tell his parents.

Michael didn’t say anything and simply shook his head.

Pablo opened the booklet and asked, “So, how did you die?”

Michael replied, “Once, they cornered me in the school restroom and pushed me around. I managed to push one of them aside. He didn’t expect me to fight back, so he fell to the ground.”

There was an uproar. The male classmate who fell to the ground felt humiliated. He then blocked Michael on his way home from school and brought eight people to hit and kick him.

“After they beat me, they laughed and left. I felt pain all over my body as I walked home. The pain grew worse and worse.”

When Michael arrived home and saw his mother cooking, he went straight to his room without saying a word.

“My mother asked me to eat dinner and noticed that something was wrong with me. She asked about my condition.”

Lilly asked, “What did you say?”

Michael replied, “I didn’t want to tell her that my classmates had beaten me, so I said nothing.”

By midnight, he couldn’t bear it any longer. He was drenched in cold sweat, and his consciousness began to fade.

“I sensed that my life was slipping away. Panic overwhelmed me and I urgently dialed my mother’s number. However, my parents were engaged in a heated argument. Desperately, I stood behind the closed door, shouting at the top of my lungs through the narrow crack, but my pleas went unheard.”

Thus, Michael met a painful demise, succumbing to a severe liver hemorrhage and internal injuries.

As he uttered those words, remorse and resentment filled Michael’s eyes. “I deeply regret not confiding in my mother sooner. Why didn’t I speak up when she asked me? I could still be alive! I don’t want to die…”

With those words, Michael broke down in tears.

Michael’s sudden outburst of crying caught everyone off guard. His aura suddenly intensified, and he was overcome with sadness.

His aura broke through the illusion spell that Pablo had cast on Rebecca. Rebecca abruptly woke up and, as she looked into the large mirror on the wall, she saw a boy in a school uniform lying on her head!

He coughed up blood and cried so sorrowfully that tears of blood streamed down his face.

“Oh my god!” Rebecca screamed and fell off the chair in an instant. The cups on the table fell and shattered into pieces.

In her panic, she accidentally pressed her hand on the broken glass, causing blood to flow from her palm. Everything spiraled out of control in an instant!

Rebecca’s blood stained Michael’s clothes. Michael continued to cry and laugh while

clinging tightly to Rebecca’s body, and then he began to bite her head.

Rebecca looked in horror at the boy in the school uniform who was crying and laughing while biting her face!

“Oh my god! Ah!” Rebecca desperately scratched her face. She wanted to remove the malevolent spirit from her head, but her attempts were in vain. Unable to touch Michael, she only ended up hurting her face and tearing out her hair.

Pablo quickly picked up Lilly and threw her over Rebecca. “Go, Tulip!”

“Eh?” Lilly was confused. Wait! What should I do? Master is unreliable!

Lilly immediately flew out, but from Anthony’s perspective, she jumped up high and landed on Rebecca’s head.

Pablo instructed Lilly on what to do next. “Find a way to separate him from Rebecca!”

Lilly muttered, “Separate… separate!”

She hugged Michael’s arm and pulled him back forcefully.

“Hah!” Lilly tore one of Michael’s hands off.

Rebecca nearly fainted from shock.

Lilly shouted, “Aunty Rebecca, take it easy!”

With that, she grabbed Michael’s hair and pulled him back desperately. Pa! This time she tore Michael’s head off.

Michael’s body remained tightly attached to Rebecca’s body like glue.

Rebecca rolled her eyes and passed out.

“Ugh!” Lilly didn’t mean to tear Michael apart. She gritted her teeth and suddenly remembered the exorcism technique taught by Pablo.

She muttered quickly, grabbed Michael’s back again, and finally managed to separate him from Rebecca!

Pablo’s eyes showed a hint of approval as he quietly lifted the sedative spell.

Michael continued to cry uncontrollably. Lilly comforted him while putting his head and hand back in place.

“Michael, calm down,” Lilly said, “Take a deep breath! Relax! Don’t cry! I’ll give you some candy!”

Pablo looked at Lilly, who was soothing a ghost, and his mouth twitched.

Can this really work? How do ghosts breathe and eat candy? Lilly still needs my help. She’s already doing well!

Pablo was about to intervene, but he saw Michael stop crying. Lilly patted Michael’s back as if she possessed some kind of magical power. Soon, Michael calmed down.

Lilly rummaged through her backpack and took out two candies she had secretly hidden. She unwrapped one and gave it to Michael, taking the opportunity to pop the other one into her own mouth.

A ghost and a little girl sat on the ground, quietly enjoying their candies.

Pablo widened his eyes in shock. Does this actually work?

Lilly continued to ask, “Michael, please go on. What happened next?”

Michael spoke softly, “After I died, my parents moved away. They didn’t know the identity of my attackers because there were no witnesses or surveillance, and I never told anyone about it. My parents investigated for six months, but eventually gave up.”

However, his incident became widely known. After his parents moved out, the apartment they used to live in became haunted.

An inexperienced practitioner came to perform an exorcism, but instead of driving Michael away, he trapped him in that room. No matter what Michael did, he couldn’t escape.
