“Ms. Bennett.” Molly’s eyes welled up with tears of gratitude. After a moment’s hesitation, she quickly filled in her information.

In the final minute before the deadline, Molly successfully submitted her application, with the whole department cheering her on.

“You got this!”

“To be honest, I always thought you had a knack for design. Now with Ms. Bennett by your side, you can let loose and give it your all!”

“Even if there’s a hiccup, Ms. Bennett will have your back! If she can’t fix it, no one can!”

“You’re one lucky duck to have Ms. Bennett as your right–hand woman.”

“Go get ‘em, Molly! You can do it!”

“You’re going to make a name for yourself!”

Molly had never felt such overwhelming support and well–wishes before. Gratefully, she said, “Thanks, everyone! I’ll give it my all!”

She then turned to Mirabella with gratitude. Without her, she might have missed this opportunity.

“No need for thanks. I’ll tutor you after work for the next few days,” Mirabella replied nonchalantly. “But not tonight; I have plans.”

“No problem, Ms. Bennett, whenever suits you.” Molly never imagined meeting someone who would support her in the field of design, let alone tutor her. She was truly lucky!

After work.

Mirabella texted Romeo McMillan, telling him not to pick her up for the next few days as she had some matters to take care of.

Then Louisa got a call: “Mom, I can’t make it for dinner tonight; I might be coming home late for the next few days.” “No biggie, you and Romeo go have a blast; I got this.” Louisa thought they were going to have some alone time.

“It’s work–related.”

Hearing this, Louisa thought, work–related? Not done yet? Seeing her daughter so dedicated to her work, she laughed, “Don’t overwork yourself; remember to eat; if you can’t get it done, ask someone for help.”

“Sure.” Mirabella replied gently, “I’ll be quite busy for the next few days; there’s a competition I need to attend.”

After hearing that, Louisa chit–chatted for a bit and then hung up.

Not long after, her phone rang again. Seeing it was her son, she picked up immediately and said, “It’s been a while since you last called me? When are you coming back? I’ve asked you to come home and check on your sister; how many days has it been? Are you trying to piss me off?”

She was about to give him a piece of her mind when she heard him say, “I’m coming back tonight.”

Louisa was taken aback. “Tonight?”

That’s pretty sudden!

“Yes, I’m coming home for dinner.” Hans Collins had already bought presents and was on his way home, telling Julian, who was driving, “Step on it.” Upon hearing that, Louisa immediately said, “No rush; safety first.”

Great, Hans Collins was coming back!

After hanging up, she had more dishes prepared.

When she heard that her brother was coming back, Serena Collins was.overjoyed. She waited at the front door for quite a while, and finally Julian’s car pulled up at the villa.

Julian opened the car door for Hans Collins.

Seeing that tall and stern figure stepping out, Serena excitedly called out, “Brother!”

Hearing her voice, Hans Collins softened a bit. After all, they grew up together, and before Mirabella came, the whole family doted on her like a little princess.

Their bond was real.

“You’re finally back; I missed you so much!” Serena’s face was full of joy. “You’re always abroad; it’s not easy for you to come home. Can you stay longer this time?”

Hans Collins‘ face softened. “Sure.”

“Awesome!” Although Serena was somewhat in awe of her brother, she boldly walked over and took Hans Collins‘ hand. “We’ve got a new sister at home recently; it’s quite lively, and now that you’re back, it’s going to be even more so!”

Hans Collins glanced at her hand, gently removing it. “You’re grown up now; you should act more mature.”

He never liked being touched, but he didn’t mind Serena’s touch; he was even somewhat gentle.

Serena knew that if anyone else dared to take his hand, he would definitely get angry!

Her brother was already quite special to her!

“How’s the new sister?” Hans Collins asked softly.

Upon hearing this, Serena’s face changed, and she quickly said, “Good, quite good. just like you, a person with a strong personality.”

She deliberately avoided eye contact, even feigning fear in her heart.

Her behavior naturally caught Hans Collins‘ eye. It seemed that the girl was a difficult person to get along with.

“It’s alright, spill the beans.” Hans Collins walked with her towards the main hall.

Along the way, Serena wanted to speak but hesitated.

She deliberately concealed the fear and anxiety in her eyes and hesitated for a while before saying, “All in all, you’ll find out soon enough.” Hans Collins‘ eyes dimmed a bit; it seemed that sister of his often bullied her.

The dinner table was loaded with all kinds of scrumptious dishes.

“Hans, you haven’t been home in a while; share a few drinks with your old man tonight.” Kenneth poured him a glass of wine, then turned to the girl beside him and said, “Serena, you’re still young; stick to your juice.”

Seizing the opportunity to act cute, Serena chimed in, “I wanna drink with big bro too.”

“Good girl, wait till you’re grown.” Kenneth poured himself another glass, then cheerfully asked his son, “Heard you’ve been doing well overseas?” “Mmm, pretty stable now.” Hans Collins had been busy abroad for several months, solving a handful of issues, and finally, things were settling down. He glanced around, noticing there were only four sets of cutlery.

Apart from his parents‘, there were only his and Serena’s.

Where was his sister?

Louisa chimed in while bustling around, “Bella just called; she’s not finished with some work.”

“Work?” Hans Collins was a bit taken aback.

Wasn’t his sister only eighteen?

“You might not know this, but your sister is currently managing our fashion company. You must’ve heard about her achievements from overseas?” Kenneth happily clinked glasses with him, and after gulping down his drink, he sighed, “Who would’ve thought your sister had such impressive business acumen? She found so many problems within days of her taking charge! Even caught the main culprit behind the scenes!”

Thinking about Oscar, Kenneth felt a pang of heartache.

Recalling the company’s recent activities, Hans instinctively uttered a name: “Mirabella?”

“Yes, Mirabella Collins, your sister!”

Upon hearing the term “sister“, Serena bit her lip and served her brother some food: “Big bro, this is your favorite meat; eat up.”

“Thanks.” Hans Collins was usually rather aloof, but his gaze softened when he looked at his family.

Serena felt a lot better. That dimwit, instead of bonding with her brother, she was busy working!

What a scatterbrain!

She continued serving wine to her brother and parents, warming up the atmosphere like a cozy quilt.

Upon realizing that the person who recently stirred up the company was his sister, Hans Collins‘ gaze deepened, feeling rather intrigued.

The new collection would be launched tomorrow; she didn’t come home for dinner; she probably busy preparing, right?

Although he hadn’t met her and didn’t know what kind of person she was, her talent, decision–making skills, and ambition at such a young age had already impressed him.

“If your sister were a bit older, I’d really like to hand over the other companies to her.” Kenneth had full faith in his daughter’s business skills, but she was still young and had just returned home; he didn’t want her to overwork.

Louisa added while eating, “Oh right, she mentioned on the phone that she’ll be attending a design competition in a few days. She’s really busy; she might not be home for dinner these nights.”

Ever since she returned, she had been throwing herself into work; it was a bit heartbreaking.

Initially, handing over the company was just for her to have a taste of it and to bring her some joy; he never expected her to make such groundbreaking achievements.

But she was very responsible, which was a pleasant surprise for everyone.
