Noah glanced at Rosella in his arms. Rosella nodded understandingly, and quickly let out a moan.
Noah also cooperated. He buried his head in Rosella’s neck and muttered with heavy breathe,
“Baby, you’re so sweet.”
Any fiance who heard such was bound to feel jealous and even angry. Everyone in the hall was patiently awaiting the response from the other end. But they waited, and still, the individual on the other end remained silent.
The atmosphere was a little weird. The girl on the other end didn’t respond. Noah and Rosella were still moaning over here.
Noah suddenly kept quiet. At this moment, the beautiful and soft voice slowly passed over with a chuckle,
“Are you done?”
The three simple words made Noah stiffened, and he immediately asked angrily,

Noah hissed and hastily replied,
“No! I don’t need you to introduce me to anyone!”
“No? Okay. I’ll hang up now.” The girl muttered and the call was swiftly disconnected.
A few seconds later, everyone in the hall had bursted into an uncontrollable laughter.
“Noah, your fiance is so funny. How could she be so cute?”
“Noah, you wanted teasing your fiance, but she ended teasing you.”
“Noah, you really don’t have a kidney deficiency, do you?”
Noah was laughed out by everyone in the hall. And Rosella stared at him suspiciously, she wanted knowing if he really had a kidney deficiency.
Noah felt lumiliated. He had made the call to humiliate his fiance, but he ended up being humbled.
“Clowns! I’ll get back at her!” Noah muttered as he couldn’t conceed defcat.
Deacon didn’t leave. In fact, he was quite surprised that he had stayed to watch the show. He was not someone who liked to mingle and play with people, but that beautiful and soft voice had a magical power that made him unable to move away.
It seemed like the individual on the other end of the phone was interesting.

In the hallway. Ray and Peterson had been awaiting their master, Deacon. When they saw Deacon stepping out of the hall, they had hastily and respectfully followed him.
Ray pushed Peterson and whispered excitedly,
“I think I had just seen young master smile.”
“Really?” Peterson muttered expressionlessly.
“We can’t be caught gossiping about young master.” Peterson whispered back.
Ray pondered for a while, then he said,
“Do you think it’s because of the daughter of the Hendrix family who had just returned?”
“Young Master, the White and Hendrix families have a marriage contract. The Hendrix family had a daughter whom they lost when she was just a child. They just found her, and she’s Noah’s fiancee.” Ray spoke courageously to Deacon’s hearing.
Deacon’s face was devoid of emotions. He stared at Ray indifferently and asked,
“Did I ask you this?”
“No, you didn’t.” Ray shook his head.
“But if young master likes, I’ll have Peterson visit the Hendrix family at night and kidnap the daughter of the Hendrix family. And have her sleep on your bed tonight.”
Ray glanced at Peterson, he winked repeatedly at him, as he urged him to show his support to his words.
Deacon turned around and faced Ray. His cold eyes swept across his body.
“Get out!” Deacon ordered irritatedly.
Ray suddenly disappeared from Deacon’s sight. Peterson froze, as he couldn’t utter a word.

Deacon returned home. He stood in the living room and unbuttoned the black suit that he wore and handed it to the maid.
“Young Master, ma’am Samantha is in the room upstairs.” The maid informed respectfully.
“How’s her appetite lately? Deacon inquired.
“Young Master, Mrs. Samantha only ate some spoon of rice. Her appetite is still very bad.
Deacon’s face suddenly clouded in sadness. Everyone knew that if Mrs. Samantha continued like this, then she was most likely to die sooner.
Deacon strode upstairs and went to see Mrs. Samantha. However, when he reached the door of the study, he noticed that the door was not properly closed, and he overheard the conversations that were ongoing. It was Marvin’s voice.
Marvin was home today.
“Dad, I’ll ask you again. Where did you keep her? Why can’t I find her anyway? Can you give her to me? I can I save her. Don’t tell me that you killed her. I refuse to believe that you’re cruel and cold-blooded!”

The study door was quickly pulled over, and Marvin stormed out.
Marvin saw Deacon outside the door, and their eyes met.
Deacon looked at Marvin, his deep eyes were unsteady. Deacon knew his brother too well. As the youngest academician, Marvin was proud, cold and arrogant.
But now, Marvin seemed restless and his two hands were clenched into a fist. He was like an angry lion, looking for whom to devour.
Deacon had never seen Marvin like this before. With their eyes still focused at each other, Deacon asked indifferently,
“What’s the matter with you?”
Deacon diverted his gaze to the study room and then back at Marvin.
“You quarreled with dad about a girl. You have a girl you like. Is that it?”
Marvin stared coldly at Deacon.
“Are you happy now?” Marvin’s voice questioned.
Deacon pursed his lips and didn’t utter a word in response.
