It will be amended to state that Calvin Reeves is to be both Callum and Vincent Riddley’s legal guardian in the event of something unforeseen happening to Miss Riddley. b.
Marilyn will notify William Jameson of the changes and send a photocopy of proof (the new clause in her will, not the entirety of her will.)
All birth certificate documentation will be forwarded to William Janson and he, as Calvin Reeves’ attorney, will have Calvin sign them. Then be responsible for returning them to Marilyn Riddley. d.
Marilyn will then file the changes and send a copy of the new birth certificates to William Jameson to keep on file for Calvin Reeves.
Marilyn will, in earnest, consider allowing Calvin to meet his sons Callum and Vincent prior to 25th of December, but not before 20th of December. To sit down and discuss the Christmas holiday and him visiting on 25th December.
8.
If Marilyn gets all of her memories back from her life as Marrin, she will openly tell William Jameson and or Calvin Reeves, and a new meeting will be organised, regarding this matter, and any changes to their lives. from that point forward.
Marilyn shook her head at the last two clauses in that contact. Calvin had brought up Christmas already, and she knew the twins had as well. Likely she was going to have to deal with him on that day, but clause 8, that was interesting to her, the way it was worded got all her memories back.
There was a full loophole there that she could exploit. Because all her memories may never return, but she could well regain most of them, but not all of them; that was interesting to her. Then in that same clause was that she was to tell Wil and or Calvin, not both of them. It read as though she could choose who she wanted to tell. One or the other, not both, again a loophole that could be exploited. Then she supposed that could also mean that the meeting could mean one or the other as well. That had to be Liam’s doing for sure.
She signed it and sent it back. This was Calvin’s last chance to prove himself to her. If he couldn’t hold to this contract, then she was going to pack up and leave, put that phone with the tracking app on it in a box and send it back to him.
Though she wouldn’t change her driver’s license to the new address, and nothing would be in her name where it was possible, hell, she could cancel her driver’s license and sell her car, just to make it more difficult for him to hunt her. Just hire a personal live??n driver for herself and the boys.
She looked at the email she’d gotten from the realtor, the owner of that house she’d put an offer on, in Bigfork, Montana, had been accepted. She smiled to herself, it was a lovely house and on 23 acres of land. With not only a clear view down to Flathead Lake, but it was surrounded by the forest as well. The place even had three guest house sections, and there was plenty of manicured lawn for the boys to play on.
It also came with a hefty price of six million dollars; which she could afford without going to a bank for a mortgage and that was why she’d sent in an offer. It would actually be a nice place to go in summer or winter, for vacations or just to get away on a writing retreat. Bigfork looked to be a quiet town, small like Bedford, and that house already had many of the things she needed, so no renovations, and if worst came to worst and Calvin breached this contract, there was room for a live??n driver, and live??n security as well.
She could have the new car for that driver be in their name, and not hers, though she would pay for it, of course. She nodded to herself as she thought about it and then contacted the realtor about it to see when the final contracts would be signed and the check or approved bank transfer was due. She had it all sorted out by the time the boys got home from school.
She still had the laptop open to the page of the house when they got home and Vincent looked at it.
“You going to buy that house in the mountains?”
he asked, smiling at her. He seemed a little bit on the excited side.
“Yes. You boys did like it.”
she nodded, and they had liked that it was on a ‘ke and in the woods.
“It will be fun.”
Callum smiled.
“When can we go see it?”
“Hmm, I guess when it’s ours officially and the seller has moves out a few weeks still.”
She hazarded a guess, there was no mortgage to sort out, just a bank transfer and title deeds, along with the contract. Everything should go smoothly.
“Christmas in the mountains?”
Vincent asked her right away.
“Maybe.”
She nodded, it was possible, and she knew she was prepping for it.
Wil
Calvin appeared to be sitting comfortably and relaxed in that chair over here as he and Liam worked on putting that contract together. He’d given it to Calvin and watched the man not only read it, but also sign it without issue. He didn’t arc up at any of the clauses, not even the ones that Wil himself had put in there, to help contain the man.
They were now just waiting for Marilyn to sign the contract as well. He had let Liam sneak in a few loopholes at the end of that contact. It would likely give Marilyn a feeling of having some choices which he did want for her. She, he knew, also dealt with contracts all the time for her career, and Marrin also had as well. Both sides of her would understand that last clause.
So, now it was just a waiting game, and as long as Calvin could stay put and didn’t do anything to ruin this, breaking the contract. Then Calvin was actually going to get everything he wanted, that being Marilyn back in his life, so that he could work on showing her that he was a man she needed to be afraid of.
That he could and would be a good father to the twins as well, all things Marilyn herself needed to know and see in all likelihood. Though Wil did know that if nothing went wrong from this point forward, Calvin would be trying to engage with Marilyn himself, in an effort to see her come to like him, with a view to falling in love with him, as Marrin once had done.
He’d seen that Calvin was over there just watching that app, as they sat on the plane to go back home to Houston.
“It’s not going to move, Calvin. It’s going to sit inside that house and never go anywhere. You do realise that, yes?”
he asked.
“I do,”
Calvin nodded.
“I’m curious is all,”
he commented, and put his phone away.
“Curious about?”
Wil asked and hoped it wouldn’t turn into something else already.
“If she’s given it to the twins yet?”
Calvin stated simply.
Wil glanced at his watch.
“They might not even be home yet. They could have an after-school sport to attend to.”
He knew a lot of kids had that, helping keep them supervised until full??ime working parents could get off work and pick them up.
Calvin half laughed.
