He sighed now as he listened to her.

“It’s not like that,”

Calvin told her as he tried to ignore the constant insults she was dishing out to him. He knew now she had brought him here for this meeting, just to accuse him of all of this, and provoke him on purpose into raising his voice and yelling at her in his own defence.

Marilyn

She could see that Calvin was annoyed and getting more so, with her line of questioning his very intent where the boys were concerned.

“How did you get my client’s address?”

Liam asked,

“We’ve not even given that your lawyer at this point.”

She watched Calvin frown, and his lawyer put a hand on him.

“It’s on her driver’s license,”

Wil stated.

“And just how did he get a copy of her driver’s license?”

Liam pushed once more.

“Because I had her home address left off that restraining order on purpose, so he wouldn’t know where she lived, due to her not being a resident of Texas. Her home state is many states away, so there was no need to. The judge agreed.”

Liam stated now.

“So neither of you should know that information,”

Marilyn muttered.

“Maybe it’s time to move once more,”

she voiced out loud

“and I think Liam, he got it by using that technology company to get it, used one or more of his programmers to hack the DMV and get my details. I’ll never be safe from him.”

She added a heavy sigh at the end of her words.

“Probably Marilyn, that was also my theory.”

Liam nodded.

“Don’t do that,”

Calvin stated, looking right at her.

“Do not up and disappear from me again, please.”

He implored h?r.

“I admit it. I looked in to you, and found out where not only you live, but where the boys went to school as well,”

Calvin sighed now.

“You’ve been missing for eight years. I feel terrible about all that has transpired between us… I didn’t do this with the intent of harassing you. I wasn’t going to come near you until the restraining order was dismissed.”

“Right!”

she muttered, not even she believed that.

“The boys’ school. I just wanted to try and show them I’m not a terrible person. Try to find a way for them to see me in a better light. Connect my name to something other than yourself and what happened in Texas. That was my only intent,”

Calvin told her.

“I don’t believe you,”

she shrugged, because she didn’t, not really in my eyes.

“How can I believe anything you say? After all you did to me. Now, even months later you have broken the contract as well, your word is no good as far as I’m concerned.”

She told him truthfully.

She watched him sigh, he couldn’t win this no matter what he said, because he was the one to break the law at every opportunity he had. He would have even known what he was doing was breaking the law and breaching their contract. Yet he just blipped over it thinking he could do as he pleased because he was a billionaire. Thought he’d get his own way.

“Don’t move, don’t uproot the boys’ lives, or your own for that matter,”

Calvin told her.

“I am willing to admit this is all my fault, all you know of me is what you saw.”

He nodded.

“But that’s not really who I am.”

“It’s all my children know as well,”

she added.

“Our children,”

he corrected her,
