“I meant every word.”

Calvin sighed and could only nod and refrained from answering her, though he watched her look from him to Wil and back and realised she had likely brought him here to watch him, his every reaction to all that was going to go on inside this room. His own eyes moved to the bodyguards, and he understood he believed she was expecting him to get angry and lose it. Like he had the last time they were in this setting, that was what they were for.

“Marilyn, you’re aware now that you were once Calvin’s wife and the two children you have are his sons. I think with you requesting that Calvin himself come to this meeting it’s to discuss that very thing,”

Wil stated.

“In part.”

She nodded.

“But firstly, we’d like to know how Mr Reeves came to find out which school my clients’ children attend. Let’s discuss that first, shall we.”

Liam stated,

“Mr Reeves, I believe you breached the agreement of leaving my client alone, one that you yourself signed, and I witnessed, as did your own lawyer there, to have those charges already against you, for attacking her twice, dropped.”

“Technically, I did not. I never personally went near Marilyn or her children. I have not been to the state of Virginia until now. Invited by your client to do so,”

Calvin answered calmly.

Will had warned him about this and prepped him for his line of questioning.

“Hmm, but you agreed not to stalk my client. But yet you found out the details of her home life. That is still considered stalking, just from a distance, still has the same effect on my client, creating fear for one’s safety,

“Liam countered.

“I won’t deny that. I saw a picture of the twins, her sons, and with who I believed she was originally. I simply couldn’t ignore the possibility that I wasn’t wrong about who she was. Turns out I wasn’t wrong at all.”

Calvin half smiled at her lawyer.

“And just how did you get a picture of my sons?”

Marilyn interrupted.

“Did your lawyer give it to you?”

she asked.

“I did not,”

Wil interjected.

“Calvin, like myself, investigated you quietly. No different to what Mr did to Calvin himself is all.”

ens there,

“So, then…”

Liam stated.

“There is no proof at all of his thoughts. Once again, it’s all just circumstantial. Purely because the boys had black hair and green eyes, resemble him a little.”

“Yes, and once I found out what he’d done,”

Wil cut him off before he could even get a word out.

“I showed him everything I myself had compiled, the very same file I gave to Marilyn, on the day you Liam sent me that email and called me about the boy’s school getting a grant from C.R. Technology. I had no idea until that moment and nearly resigned over it myself.

Manlyn Verses Calvin

“I did as you requested of me, pulled my client into line in the harshest way possible. But the only way I foresaw being able to stop him from further actions and frightening your client, was to just show him the undeniable truth. Calvin is also now fully aware of all the consequences of his actions.”

Wil waved a hand at the two bodyguards.

“Not even I thought it would come to her feeling like she needed that kind of security”

“Well, it likely wouldn’t have, if your client could have shown he had any form of restraint and was a law??biding citizen. Not a man that can just throw money at something and make problems go away. All Marilyn now sees, is a man that is uncaring of how she feels or what she wants, and will come at her regardless,”

Liam stated.

“His word is not to be trusted.”

Marilyn stated herself

“He is a liar in my eyes.”

She looked right at him. “

Everything about you, Mr Reeves, is deception and lies. You are cruel and vindictive, likely already plotting in that twisted mind of yours to take my children from me. So, I want it on record that if they go missing at all. You are the one that will have kidnapped them. I now have three witnesses as to my feelings on the matter.”

She motioned to her lawyer and bodyguards.

“I would never do that,”

Calvin stated as he stared at her, nearly dumbfounded by the accusation that he would kidnap her children.

“Then why track them to their very school? What was the purpose of that inside your brain?”

she asked him.”

Clearly you know where I live, would have to, to find out what school they attend. I think you did it so you could take them from their school, which is outside the restraining order area if I’m at my house.

“A place you can’t take them from because you’re not allowed there now, are you! So their school is the perfect place to snatch them from. Isn’t that, in fact, why the school is getting funding from you, so you can have a real reason to be on the school premises? I think you’ll just take them when you leave that day.”
